All suites have a private kitchenette with 7 feet of counter space, two burner ceramic stove top, under the counter refrigerators, microwave with over the stove range hood that is vented outside, pots pans, utensils, dishes, kitchen table with chairs and a desk.
All suites have full private bathrooms and an additional to main bathroom a two person “Air Massage Tub”. Each suite has internet access, a private phone with voice mail, Flat screen TV, Cable, alarm clocks, hairdryers, and high-end monogrammed linens. Each unit has a theme and is decorated in detail to match that theme. Two suites have a sitting area with couch, skylights and propane fire place with oak mantels. All Suites have high end comfortable queen size beds. Two have an extra single twin bed.
All Suites have: fresh air exchanges and each suite has humidity control. Description of Shared B&B Guest apartment:
Three rental private bedroom units are located in shared standard BED AND BREAKFAST APARTMENT:
This apartment is our standard service shared three-bedroom accommodation. It has its own private entrance. Here guests rent a private bedroom but share a common full sized fully equipped kitchen, living room as well as a large guest bathroom. All linens are supplied. Each bedroom has flat screen TV with cable. All have alarm clocks. Two room have the option of twin bed or can be put them together to make king size beds. One bedroom has one Queen Size bed. All bedrooms have closets.
This accommodation is popular with students who are here doing studies from University and individuals who are travelling on a budget as well it is an excellent accommodation for groups of friends, families, boaters, fishermen, photographers and for companies looking for affordable comfortable accommodation for employees. It also serves as a transitional place to stay for local businesses who are transitioning employees moving in or out of the community.
There is customer pay laundry facilities on premises. THE OWNERS RESIDENTS:
The owner’s residents located in the main House: It is an apartment with its own private entrance, two bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms. It was completely painted in 2019 and new window coverings added.
KITCHEN: Kitchen has four burner halogens ceramic top inlaid counter top stove, with stainless steel vented microwave and vent hood over stove. There is a stainless-steel new refrigerator freezer combination, built-in stainless-steel matching dish washer and wall oven, Cupboards are oak. Counter top and back splashes are granite. The light fixtures are custom LED in an oak box on ceiling and doubles as a hanging pot rack. Kitchen flooring is white ceramic tile.
MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom is an expansive open concept retreat. It has a sitting room and luxurious bathroom. The master bedroom expands the whole width of the house. In 2008 floor to ceiling oak custom made cabinetry free standing storage was added to the bedroom. Eliminating much of the need for dressers, The flooring in the bedroom is High end quality hard wood.
MASTER BATHROOM has an open concept bathroom. This bathroom has an extra-large Jacuzzi soaking tub, sink vanity and Eco-flush toilet, oak custom matching handmade vanity with Corion counter and a new sink. Professionally installed custom tile work surrounds the tub and vanity. There is also tile work half way up the wall and around the back of the toilet. The flooring in the bathroom is white ceramic tile.
LIVING ROOM: There is a large living room was redecorated in 2019 by upgrading window coverings, with electric blinds, and paint. This living room has a professional custom handmade oak bar, entertainment center. There is a propane fireplace in a professionally custom-made oak entertainment unit made to hold karaoke and gaming equipment, a LED TV. The mantel in front of the fireplace is black granite. The flooring in this room is high end oak hardwood.
THE SECOND BEDROOM: The second bedroom is used as an office. It has a closet, large corner desk, and matching book shelf. Company business files are located here as well as the main switch board for our phone system.Flooring is oak hardwood.
MAIN HOUSE BATHROOM: The owner’s residence main bathroom was renovated completely in 2010. This was a high-end renovation valued at twenty-one thousand dollars. It has a floor to ceiling tiled standing shower measuring 72 in by 38 in with glass shower surrounds. The shower has a rain shower on each end and adjustable water jets on the wall. There is a professionally custom-built oak vanity with Corron marble counter, sink, and custom-made oak matching mountings for lighting over the vanity. Custom tile work beautifies the shower and there is matching tile work on the floor and half way up all the walls.
THE GARAGE: A large garage of 785 square feet was built in the mid 1990’s. It houses a boiler that heats both entire building and the garage also supplies hot water to the house. This is a two-bay garage with shelving for storage, and galvanized steel topped work benches. There is ample room for two vehicles and a few boy toys. Owners residence has fresh air exchange, forced air heat and hard-wired fire alarms. SAFETY: This entire building passes and exceeds city building and fire codes. Our heating source for this building is not in the house. We have a boiler hot water system located in the garage and hot water heat heats the entire building and supplies hot water for all. Decking: The deck on the suites side of the house is covered by a roof. It has tables chairs, bench and Guest BBQ. Decking on the A side and owners’ residence was replaced in 2018 at a cost of 35 thousand dollars. It has a surface that is covered by garage zone and should not need maintenance for many years to come.
CURB APPEAL: This property has curb appeal and has won several city gardening awards This B&B/ Small Inn property is always well kept and groomed to high standard. We have annuals and perennial flower beds numerous mature birch trees. tall shrubs boarder a white chain link fence that surrounds the property. There are many birds to be heard and seen on this property in all seasons. The property has lots of yard space and good lawns.
