What is BBCanada.com's E-Traveller?

The B&B E-Traveller is an online newsletter that showcases regions of Canada where there is a B&B Association presence. Any region whose local B&B Association is online with BBCanada can be featured. The E-Traveller goes out to over 50,000 voluntary subscribers, making it a powerful advertising tool as well as a colourful source of tourist information for potential visitors. We include a link to the featured association's web page at the bottom of each issue. This encourages readers to research a stay with association group members for their visit.

Who provides the text and the photos?

The Association or tourist organization whose area is the subject of the issue is responsible for providing all material. BBCanada.com does not research, write or translate any E-Traveller content.

Who chooses the region to be highlighted for each issue?

BBCanada.com representatives work with associations or tourist organizations across Canada to choose the featured regions. If you would like to promote your B&B association or region you are welcome to submit content for the E-Traveller. Depending on our current schedule, we can often publish an issue after we receive your material.

How often can my region be featured in the E-Traveller?

We will feature a particular region once annually or twice if the content is unique and features activities from a different season.

What are the content guidelines?

Send us 6-10 photos by email in jpg format and one to two pages of single spaced text. Please provide permission to use photos if necessary. The text and photos should be promoting activities in the featured region during current and/or upcoming season.

We accept E-Traveller material in electronic format only. Email your photos and text to submissions@bbcanada.com.

Can the E-Traveller include web links?

We can include links to any events, venues or attractions mentioned in the E-Traveller text. We include a link to the featured region's B&B Association at the bottom of each issue.

Is the E-Traveller available in French and English?

We will publish French and English bilingual editions of the E Traveller if the submissions are received in both languages. We regret that we are not able to translate submitted materials. We do not publish French only editions.
