What is 'Location Management'?
Location Management is an exciting new feature created by BBCanada.com that allows you to select and purchase multiple city locations, within a 30 to 40 minute driving proximity, for your listing. With this new feature you may list your B&B in up to 5 cities of your choice. With each listing you purchase, you are given great exposure for your B&B in neighboring cities and added savings!
How much does it cost?
Additional cities equal additional savings for our BBCanada.com members! Here is how it works:
Your 1st BBCanada listing comes with one free location which remains at only $149 per year

These prices will be prorated to coincide with your renewal date.
I would like to purchase additional locations, where do I start?
If you would like to purchase an additional location, follow these quick and simple steps:
- Visit Area 13 of www.bbdug.com.
- Click on the symbol to purchase a new location
- Select a province
- Select a city within that province
- Make your payment for your new location
It's that easy! Once these steps have been completed and your payment is processed, your B&B will appear right away in the new location you have selected.
Do I have to edit each location individually?
No! A great feature of Location management is the ability to edit all of your information on your original listing, and the edits will take effect on all of your locations. You can manage all locations simultaneously with www.bbdug.com.
What city should I chose?
We recommend that you list your B&B in a city that is close to you, allowing your guests to easily visit the city from your B&B. Keep in mind; you can change your additional locations at any time, so feel free to test various cities to find where you're best results are.
There is also the location recommendation tool. In BBDUG, below the section Location Management, you will see “May we recommend a location or two?” Let the system do the work for you!
Can I change or delete the locations I have selected?
Yes! You can edit where your additional locations appear at any time; however, please be advised that once a city has been deleted, it is deleted permanently. You would therefore need to pay again to add an additional city, once one has been deleted. This is not the case for swapping one city for another.
If you are certain you wish to proceed with the deletion or modification, here are the steps:
- Visit Area 13 of www.bbdug.com
- Click on the icon beside the city you wish to change or delete ( for edit, for delete).
- Select a province
- Select the city you wish to appear in
- Confirm your selection by clicking 'The location is correct. Click to proceed' button
And that's all there is to it!
I want to purchase an additional location, but my city is not on the list, what do I do?
In the event that you wish to purchase a location in a city not currently on our site, we can easily add it for you upon request.
To do so, you may first make a payment for the location. Visit Area 13 of www.bbdug.com and click the symbol to add a location. On the next screen you will see the prorated amount that your new location will cost. Please take note of this amount.
You may then pay this amount in our payment centre, using the Generic Payment option here:

Once you have made your payment, simply send us an email at email@example.com and let us know what city you wish your new location to appear in. Your new location will then be added to the database and your listing will shortly appear under this new city.
