We stayed here in July 2017 and enjoyed it thoroughly. Besides the fact that the location is incredible, the BB itself is an experience. We shared some songs (Charlotte writes some of her own which were delightful), the breakfast was fabulous and the room was so comfortable. I would go back in a heartbeat. All this is besides the puffins, the whales, the icebergs....

Visited in September, 2014. My family took the entire home. It was marvelous!!! Glaciers floating by, whales frolicking and singing. We experienced the Puffin Festival and it was fun!! Ate traditional Newfoundland food, listened to wonderful singers. So beautiful and special--we want to come back to this place.

I stayed at the inn and had a great time! Charlotte and Robin are friendly and welcome you like family. The area is tranquil and lots of interesting sites to visit! Enjoyed seeing the whales and the memorable kayak ride through the rock structures! Saw an eagle peeved at the top of the wall if Rock! What a sight!! Loved my stay and hope to return this summer. Newfoundland is beautiful and a province worth visiting! Thanks! Cirile from Toronto, Ont.

Excellent stay! Charlotte and Rob could not have been better hosts. Thier place is a home away from home. All the comfort and warmth you could ask for on a vacation. They are both very passionate about thier community as well as fountains of information on where to go, what to see and general information as well. They really know how to make you feel like part of the family. Would definetley stay there again on my return to the ROCK! Thanks Charlotte and Rob.

Our recent stay at the Bird Island Inn B&B was the highlight of our trip to Newfoundland. What a wonderful location! The room was cozy, clean and comfy and the breakfast was fantastic. I can't say enough about the charming town of Elliston. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Charlotte and Robin again, they were wonderful, friendly hosts. You won't be disappointed!

We stayed at this cozy B & B in September 2009 for one night. The location is absolutely beautiful with not only the ocean in front of you but a babbling creek beside the home. The home was clean, cozy and private. The hosts provided a wonderful homecooked breakfast and good conversation. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly book here again if ever in the area.

Our family visited Bird Island Inn B&B a couple of years ago. We will never forget the sights and sounds of the wind, the puffins, the waves, and the sight of the ever-changing ocean as we looked over the water, and fell asleep in our beds at night. What a thrill it was, to search the water to discover the sight of a whale "fluking", or spouting! The great breakfasts left our stomachs heartily satisfied, as we set out on our day's explorations, hiking along the shoreline, or climbing around in a nearby lighthouse. From the ferry ride, to the Five Coves Garden Party - complete with performances by local musicians and face-painting and games for the children - a fantastic time was had by every one of us!! Can't wait to go back!
