My husband and I spent a wonderful 3 days at "Leisure Estates." The owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about things to do in the St. Jacobs area. The whole place is immaculate and super clean. We recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Just back from a night at Leisure Estates B & B in Elmira (August 30th). We had heard about it from friends and we were not disappointed. It is full five"s from the hosts (yes even Mark), the home, the unique and well maintained property to the outstanding breakfast. We had opportunities to share experiences with hosts Joyce and Mark , as well as with other guests. If you get the chance to stay here you won't be disappointed.

- Gina and George, from Thorold, On. 31 August 2018

Absolutely beautiful grounds and room. Mark and Joyce were very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Definitely will return peaceful and the food was delicious. We dropped in and we stayed and were graciously welcomed

- Corrine Simko, from Windsor 31 March 2018

Mark and Joyce at the Leisure Estates were wonderful hosts! We booked their entire home to host a small corporate offsite retreat. They were able to set up extra beds to accommodate all 11 of us. The requirements for us were to have a space that we could play icebreakers, have meetings, have breakout sessions, and also eat together. The Leisure estates was perfect for this! Mark and Joyce were extremely accommodating to our needs. The breakfast Joyce cooked up was also amazing. My only reservations for having this location as a corporate offsite is that the wifi was not very fast however we did not require much of it for our purposes.

My husband and I have visited Leisure Estates three times now and have loved it every time! We have had the pleasure of experiencing three of their rooms. All of the rooms have been extremely comfortable, VERY clean, and outfitted with everything you would need. Their home is so well kept, beautiful, and laid out with care and lots of thought. The breakfast is out of this world with homemade baking and healthy choices. Mark and Joyce are phenomenal at what they do and you will NOT regret making the choice to stay at their luxiously charming estate. The price is SO good for what you get! We felt very pampered and comfortable. Our experiences have been so exceptional that my wife went away for a girls weekend with her mom and sister so that they could experience how great it is. They all had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go again next year. In fact, they are going to make it an annual spot to relax and refresh. The trails on the property are gorgeously kept and so peaceful to walk on. Great any time of the year!

We would like to thank Mark and Joyce. Their B & B is just beautiful and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious each morning. They both took the time to tell us what was going on in the area and even mapped out points of interest for us.The skit they preformed after breakfast was very entertaining!! I would highly recommend and hope to visit again sometime

- Cheryl & Marj, from Port Lambton & Sombra On 26 September 2016

Beautiful country setting with world class accommodations. Hosts Mark & Joyce treated us like visiting family, friendly information on entertainment and points of interest in the area, maps and instructions on how to reach them. Our room was extremely comfortable, quiet with no request too much trouble. The breakfast provided was wonderful, plenty to choose from and lots of choice with home made or local condiments to add to the delicious fruit cups, quiche, pancakes, sausage, muffins, toast and endless cups of tea, coffee or juice. A great way to set up for a hike through the woods of the 50 acre grounds. We will be back again!

- Mary, from Mount Hope 27 April 2015

Mark and Joyce could not be any nicer and great B&B owners. Made us feel right at home and made our time there extra special. Mark was kind enough to give us points of interest, sat with us in the evening and told us some of his life accomplishments. Joyce also knows how to make a scrumptious hearty breakfast. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who will visit this area. I feel we gained 2 new friends. Hope to see you again soon.

My girlfriends and I have been to this fantastic spot two years a in a row now

My girlfriends and I have been to this wonderful place two years in a row now and we love it so much that we book it before we leave for the following year so we dont get disappointed. It is a little piece of heaven on earth, and every where you look is absolute beauty, from the estate itself to all the surrounding countryside. The hosts Mark and Joyce are truly some of the nicest people that I have met in my life. They are warm and friendly with a genuine kindness that reflects in everything they do during your stay. This place is fantastic. Joyce is a terrific cook and the variety it wonderful, and Mark does his fair share of helping in the kitchen as well. I must say if you are travelling trust me you wont be dissapointed that is unless it is full and they dont have a room for you, that would be a terrible disappointment. We give this wonderful place a 10 thumbs up. We are already looking forward to next year.

We absolutely "loved" our recent visit with these warm and welcoming hosts. Their gorgeous property was impeccably clean throughout, and detailed attention was given to our inquiries about the area. The spontaneous entertainment and good food at Breakfast Time also left a lasting memory. Leisure Estates is highly recommended to anyone looking for peace and quiet in the countryside.

The beautiful grounds are exceeded by the spectacular house. Large but cozy. The twelve of us in our group were most impressed and would like to return. Most of us grew up on farms and really enjoyed the skit and jokes. Joyce is a great cook with large tasty servings for breakfast.

- Irene and Ralph, from Fonthill 25 June 2013

Thankyou for your gracious hospitality. I know I certainly felt the comfort of your home, thankyou for sharing it with us all. Your breakfast that you prepared for us each morning were the best!! God Bless you both :) The Group of 7

- Vicky Ross, from Bancroft Ontario 5 June 2013

This B&B is world class. The design was well planned from the ground up. Their company, the breakfast, and entire ambience was a great experience. We definately recommend Leisure Estates to anyone.

- John & Marcela, 7 March 2013

We have been to this Bed & Breakfast now our second time, and are very pleased. The hospitality is excellent and the home cooked breakfasts are perfect. We will plan to go there again in the future and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away for a time of quiet and relaxation.

- Jacob Enns, from Tilbury Ontario 24 October 2012

My husband and I loved your bed & breakfast, thank you for making us feel at home and may god shower you with his blessings.

- Rafeena and Gianni Bertolo, from Toronto 27 March 2012

We have stayed here several times and each time it just gets better and better. Mark and Joyce really go all out for breakfast. One day we slept in and they said no problem to coming down later, we will just heat the food up. I didn't realize that only cash or check was required, and Mark said no problem just send me the check when you get back. It's this kind of hosptality that keeps my wife and I coming back again and again. And the room was big, and the bed so comfortable we didn't want to leave. The B&B surrounds the woods so it seems like you are miles away from civilization. We are going to have to find reasons to keep coming back again and again.

- Anonymous, from Macomb Twp. Mi 26 September 2011

Leisure Estates is a place that we have come back to again and again. Mark and Joyce really make it a warm and welcoming place to stay, with their humour, kindness and amazing homecooked delicacies. We will be returning for many years to come.

- Angela and Louis, from Etobicoke 15 September 2011

Beautiful, amazing, breathtaking and delicious are just a few words to describe this B&B. The property is breathtakingly beautiful with manicured lawns and gardens. The house is spaciously designed so that there is lots of privacy. Our suite Heritage Haven featured a queen bed, single bed, sofa bed, satellite t.v. and luxurious linens. Everything is first class at this B&B. Joyce & Mark serve up the most amazing breakfasts. Joyce's pancakes are the best I have ever tasted. Mark is witty and tells the funniest stories (not sure whether to believe them or not), but he kept me guessing. You can tell this couple put their heart and soul into their B&B. Thanks for the wonderful stay and I hope to be back soon.

- Lena & Rick, from Wellandport, ON 28 August 2011

My husband and I stayed here for two nights Aug 4-6th, 2011 for our vacation and anniversary. Mark and Joyce are awesome and the estate is beautiful...rooms are well spread out and beautiful...We found out at breakfast that Mark likes to be boss but we all know Joyce really is..joke..awesome warm couple and will be going back yearly. Don't overlook this B&B you won't be disappointed.

- Mark and Sharon LeClair, from Sudbury, Ontario 9 August 2011

In October 2010, just months after my father passed away I brought my mother to the Leis for some much needed rest and relaxation. The home is gorgeous and the Leis truly have the gift of hospitality. There is an undeniable presence of the Lord in this place, but done in a subtle manner. Anyone wanting a 5 star B&B experience need to come to the Leisure Estates. Now I am returning with my husband for round two of this oasis, and this time we are staying longer! :)

- Rebecca, from Kingston, ON 3 August 2011

First time we stayed at a B&B. Joyce and Mark made our stay an awesome experience. Room was warm and cozy, food was beyond great and Joyce and Mark are very gracious hosts. Mark I have to say that your skit was so funny, we really enjoyced it. Would and will recommend your B&B to others. Thanks

- Dick and Jeanne, from Sombra, Ontario 16 June 2011

We just recently stayed at Leisure Estates and I can't say enough good things about this place. The house is beautiful and the room was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hopsitality was so grea, Mark and Joyce made us feel right at home and the breakfast was amazing! This place is like heaven on earth, so peaceful and quiet and will definately be going back again!

- Lisa and Steve, 31 May 2011

Our return visit to Leisure Estates was so enjoyable and this time it was extra special, because of all the attention given to details and "add-ons" such as garaage parking and evening desserts with our hosts. Mark and Joyce have truly been given the gift of service to others, and their guests are the fortunate recipients of all their hospitality and many talents.

- Lorne and Miriam Shropshire, from Mt. Albert, Ontario 3 May 2011

Mark and Joyce, you have been wonderful hosts and we thank you for being incredibly accommodating with the breakfasts. Mark- you are fortunate to have such a lovely and talented wife! Best of luck, and we look forward to another visit.

- Rajvinder Brar & Santbir Singh Pannu, 2 December 2010

Leisure Estates, just outside Elmira, is a gorgeous and welcoming retreat that offers a peaceful & picturesque haven for people desperate to escape the stresses & strains of their workaday world & obligations. And what an amazing diversion it provides! The landscape is vast with walkways, acres of verdant meadows, horses, barns, bikes to borrow and a variety of birds which flock to the breakfast porch and windows. The sumptuous breakfasts consist of an uber-the-top buffet of delectable kinds of freshly picked fruits, baked goods, proteins such as eggs, yogurts, bacon & cheeses all accompanied with coffee, tea & juices. In addition, your hosts Mark & Joyce Leis delight in answering questions that pertain to activities which interest guests such as to do with theatre, movies, artisans, shopping or excursions. They also provide your pick of movies to enjoy at your leisure from their DVD library. Available during the day & evening are drinks as well as delicious treats. We enjoyed freshly baked peach pie with our tea & coffee! Mark & Joyce entertain their guests with a delightful, humorous & witty play after breakfast is served! Many beautiful and interesting tourist destinations such as St. Jacob's, Elmira & Stratford can easily be accessed from Leisure Estates which is a bit removed from the hustle & bustle of any towns. My family & I would enthusiastically recommend Leisure Estates to our family & friends.

The most wonderful weekend. Hosts Mark & Joyce were the most friendly, down to earth, hospitable, funny couple. They have really found their calling in running a B&B. From the moment we walked through the beautiful front doors we were made to feel we were visiting family. I cannot thank Mark & Joyce enough for the wonderful time we had.Mark drew up a map and we got to see a covered bridge, beautiful countryside. We stayed in "Sunset Suite" immacuately clean and comphy.Breakfast was soo delicous and "skit" was so funny.I can't wait to return. The house and grounds far surpass anything I could say.I can't thank you enough for a lovely and relaxing weekend.

- Terry & Barbara Olds, from Hagersville, Ontario Sept. 2009 9 September 2009

This was such a lovely introduction to staying in a B&B, my husband and I were very impressed by the beauty of the luxurious room "Sunset Suite" that we stayed in. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling around the beautiful grounds and were made to feel very welcome by Mark and Joyce who right away gave us a tour of their beautiful home as well as wonderful suggestions for local restaurants and attractions. What a wonderful memory for my husband and I as our first B&B experience....thank you Mark and Joyce.

- Dan and Kathy, from Collingwood, Canada 15 August 2009

Wow, right from the start the hosts were very welcoming. He took as much time as we needed to learn how to use the satellite TV, operate the fireplace, found extra pillows. I mentioned we wanted to do some shopping in the area, and he spent at least 30 minutes drawing up maps, and even gave us a great way to get back to Michigan, a scenic route that was a perfect way to end our vacation. The breakfast omellete was to die for, to tell the truth, we really didn't wan't to leave!

- David and Dolores, from Macomb,Michigan 14 July 2009
