Staying at the Four Winds was a wonderful place to unwind; sleep to the ocean lapping on the rocks below our window; watch eagles diving for fish and seals bobbing nearby, and the managers were great folk who gave local information and know the art of making great breakfasts. If you need to get away, this is a perfect option. The scenery is beautiful for sketching, photos or pleinair painting.

Beautiful spot in position and to relax in. Hospitality excellent and breakfast just wonderful. Who wouldn’t want to stay in this delightful house. Reasonable in price too.

We enjoyed a wonderful couple of days at the Four Winds. We had the Spa Suite, with full ocean view and balcony in complete privacy, spa tub in room and deck hot tub, and a great bed. It was very clean and well maintained. Breakfasts were superb. Our hosts, Roger and Brigitte, were extremely capable, made us feel welcome like family.

We stayed at Four Winds for part of our family vacation to the west coast this summer from July 3rd to 7th, 2016. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast. Our host was very accommodating with our arrival schedule and had everything ready. The room we stayed in was the India Gate room. We had a very comfortable Queen bed and our two girls, 20 & 14 had the pull out sofa which they said was comfortable too. The view from the room was awesome with a sitting area in one of the windows that had our two girls curled up and just looking out. We explored the shore around the small bay next to the house and found star fish at low tide. The last night provided us with a memorable sunset that we watched while relaxing in the hot tub on the deck while a harbour seal swam around just off the shore. David made wonderful breakfasts each day and helped us pick some local sites to see. Skookumchuk narrows, Pender Harbour, Porpoise Bay Park and others. All in all a wonderful stay that we would recommend to anyone.
