  • In celebration of our grand reopening we will be offering all rooms at $89.00 a night for the remainder of the year.
  • in the village of Newboro, Newboro House is a short stroll to the historic Rideau Canal, and mere steps to shops and the Stagecoach restaurant. Nearby, the village of Westport offers more dining possibilities, plus an array of antique and art shops.
  • Make us your base for visits to the larger centres of Perth, Brockville, Kingston, and Ottawa, all within a 30-75 minute drive. Rideau townships boast what is possibly the greatest concentration of heritage attractions in Ontario.
  • Enjoy unparalleled outdoor recreation, year-round: the Rideau Canal system, the Rideau Trail, numerous local lakes, at least half a dozen provincial parks and conservation areas, and a variety of golf courses.
  • For a unique shopping experience, Kilborn's on the Rideau is located steps from our door, Google or check out Facebook for the incredible selection of goods available at this expansive and well-known shopping destination.
  • In the morning, awake to a full breakfast featuring seasonal fruit, yoghurt, freshly baked (in house) breads and muffins, and a rotating selection of delectable hot breakfast specialities. Vegetarian and vegan options available upon request.
  • Take a tour of the Scheuermann vineyard and winery or head to Chaffey's locks and have a stroll through the area and lunch at the Opinicon Hotel.


Check In/Check Out : Check-in: After 3 pm, Check-out: 11 am. (Flexible arrangements available on request.)
Cancellation : Credit card required to hold a reservation. No charge for reservations cancelled more than 3 days before expected arrival; for rooms cancelled under 3 days, credit card will be charged for the reserved stay IF we have turned away other potential guests.
Seasonal Information : Open all year round, perfect location for family gatherings, meetings, retreats or Christmas parties as entire B and B can be rented (Owners home is attached.but seperate)


Located just off Highway 15, between Kingston and Smiths Falls. At the junction of Highway 15 and County Road 42, follow the signs for Newboro. Look for our B&B sign on the right, about 5 km from the junction.
