Just got home from a 3 night stay attending an in person board meeting. We rented all six rooms, so had the whole house to 'ourselves'. What a treat to stay in this stately old home. Hospitality was second to none and the breakfasts were fabulous! Couldn't have been better. Thank you Lois for everything!!!

We had a fabulous time, we loved the atmosphere and Lois and John are fabulous people. The breakfasts were very excellent too! Needless to say we will be booking again on our adventure to Moose Jaw.

Yet again, our hosts, John and Lois ensured we had a great stay and a lovely breakfast. And the cookies as you head out the door always enjoyable. They don't leave out a thing, in making your stay a fabulous one. Looking forward to our next stay in this beautiful house.

I will never book a room anywhere else in Moose Jaw. It was everything I was wanting. Lois and John are so welcoming. The house is amazing and can't wait to see the things they will do with it.Loved every minute and met some very nice guests as well. Can't wait to return

In early January (the 2nd) of this winter my fiancé and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay with you and your incredible home on our trip back home for our ski trip. We had the Executive Suite and found the accommodations second to none. We have told everyone about your home.

- Martin Landy, 13 April 2015

We just have to say, it was a very unique experience to have stayed in this home, hosted by John & Lois! We had a very pleasant & relaxing 2 night stay & it was a pleasure, to have met several other guests, while dining at the breakfast table! We loved, how the hosts' house makes you step back in time, with modern amenities & is very historical! Thank you for your superb hospitality!

- Wayne and Tanna Chase, from Regina, SK 16 March 2015

We only had one night at Wakamow Heights but it was memorable. Along with a restaurant recommendation, we were directed to the Mineral Spa for rest and relaxation. After a long drive this was welcome relief. The breakfast the next morning was wonderful and sent us back on the road contented. The poem recitation by Gladys was also a great memory. It was a great experience!

We recently spent our 24th Wedding Anniversary at this beautifully charming, 100 plus year old home that houses the Bed & Breakfast. John & Lois are warm & friendly people that have a way of making you feel like family. They were wonderful hosts. It was nice visiting with them and Lois's mother, Gladys (a beautiful treasure and talented artist, you'll find her artwork displayed all over the home)every morning over a deliciously homemade breakfast. They have been doing a fantastic job fixing the place up and we definitley plan on staying again :)

We had a great time in Moose Jaw, and especially enjoyed our stay at your Bed and Breakfast. It was beautiful and the breakfasts were awesome. We are looking forward to returning this summer to enjoy the experience all over again. Location: Shellbrook, Sk

This is just like a large ranch house, nicely done with antique items, great feel to the place. I found this by chance when trying to find an old hotel with original vintage, there are none left in Moose Jaw but this B&B really makes up for that loss. There are four suites and two rooms, I saw them all and they are full of character and all would be memorable. I stayed in the Victorian Suite and loved every minute of it. The showers have an art-deco motif and look like the real era and the jetted tub is also a nice extra.

I booked the small room for just one night as I had to be at the hosp. the next morning quite early. Walking into the house made me feel like I went back 100 years in time. It was so very charming. My room was perfect and I slept great. I wasn't able to have breakfast but will next time. The owner gave me a ride in the morning. Thank you for the stay....I will be back

I love history and staying at Wakamow Heights made me fees like I had taken a step back in time. It was lovely. The wrap around balcony was awesome. My sister and friends and I were very happy with our stay.

John & Lois, you are the BEST! Thank you for recieving me so warmly off the cruel cold icy road Jan 1, 2013! My jangled nerves were put to rest quickly in your homey quiet space. Meeting Gladys the next morning over your delicious breakfast was a real treat and an inspiration! God Bless you ALL for your warm generous hospitality and care shown to this weary traveller. Till we meet again! I highly recommend Wakamow Heights B&B you will NOT be disappointed!

My cousin and I needed a convenient, comfortable and relaxing place to stay during a recent trip to Moose Jaw. The Wakamow fit the bill on all counts. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed with interesting antiques throughout. The breakfasts were filling and delicious. It was just what we were looking for to serve as a focus point of our "family reunion." The personal attention from the host and hostess was appreciated. The location is convenient to the walking trails. We will be back.

My husband and I stayed in the Executive Jacuzzi Suite on our drive across Canada during our honeymoon. The room was beautiful and the price was incredible. The bathtub was massive and easily fit our long legs. I would stay here again.

What a charming old character home! We only spent one night, but enjoyed our time spent immensly. John and Lois are so friendly and really make you feel welcomed. The gardens surrounding the house are quite lovely and offer many places to sit, relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast - well breakfast was sooooo delicious! Lois was so accommodating with my dietary limitations and made sure all was good. Recommend a stay here, especially if you love the charm of character homes!

My wife and I spent two wonderful, relaxing nights at Wakamow Heights this past August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with John and Lois and enjoyed getting to know them. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast both mornings was delicious. Having stayed at B&B's accross Canada my wife and I both agree that Wakamow Heights is amongst the best B&B's we have stayed at! We will be back again for sure!

My husband, son and I spent 3 nights at the Wakamow Heights B&B just before Christmas. Nicholas (4 years old) is always saying, we should go to John and Lois's house again. He has become a B&B freak over the years. The breakfasts were amazing, the house is beautiful, and our hosts were very nice. We'll definitely be back.

- Jennifer Wright, from Regina 30 March 2009
