Columbine House feels like your home in Jasper. As soon as we arrived,Karen made us so relaxed and comfortable. The place feels like you are in a five star hotel inside a house. Better add breakfast in your stay, you will never regret it. From homemade bread (fresh everyday) to yougart, so delicious. Bed is soooo comfy, we woke up late the next day :)). This place makes you feel so relaxed after a long day tour of Jasper. Nice neighbourhood, you will know you are safe.

Jasper Skytram is only 10 mins drive, all places to visit are all close to Columbine House. Jasper downtown has a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

We will definitely come back to Columbia House.

We were fortunate to stay at the Columbine House early in our three week road trip in the Rockies, Okanagan and Kootenay regions of Alberta and BC. This was a great way to start. Karen was very helpful as we communicated ahead of our arrival. The property was as advertised and convenient to downtown Jasper. As well, we centrally located for day trips in the National Parks. We enjoyed having our breakfast in our suite. The homemade bread, yoghurt and jams were a treat! The suite was very clean and spacious. The access to the street and our vehicle was helpful. We would be happy to return and pleased to recommend the Columbine House to others.

Great accommodations. Very comfortable and Karen was very attentive to our needs. This location was a very good base for our day trips in the Jasper area. Would definitely stay here again! Karen was very helpful in advising sites to see. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

As a family of 3 visiting from Australia Karen made us feel welcome right from the minute we were met at the train station. Delicious homemade bread and yogurts were topped up every day and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable - a real home away from home. Columbine House is tucked away in a quiet street and is an easy walk to the town centre. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Columbine House to travellers.

June 6-9, 2015 Fabulous, fantastic, phenomenal! We spent three days at Columbine House and if we had the chance we would have stayed longer. The owner, Karen, did everything she could to make us feel at home. The room was great - comfortable bed, nice bathroom, comfy towels, basic kitchen space (no stove but we weren't fixing meals), cable TV, umbrellas, backpack to use, bathrobes, hair dryer, private garden for sitting and relaxing/reading, quiet street, ample parking, freshly baked bread every day (wish we could have it shipped to our home daily) and the list goes on. This was our second B&B - the last one was 25 years ago. Karen gave us lot of suggestions as to sights and places to eat - all of which were wonderful. I could go on and on about how great this place was. You have to see it for yourself.

We spent a wonderful weekend in July 2014. We are a couple with two daughters of 17 & 14. The accomodation was good enough for four! Hospitality and breakfast was great!!

What a wonderful place to stay. We are sad to leave collumbine house and jasper aftrr a 5 day stay. Fridge so full of food we could not eat it all even when our daughter and son came over to join us for breakfast. Home made bread, jams and yoghurt, cereals, fruit, milk juice were all wonderful. Highly recommended and a very quiet neighbourhood. Pleasant 20 minute walk to town centre. Karen even lent us her bear spray and gave us advice about which trails were closed. Do join joe on his wildlife tour from jasper tour company and the trip to maligne lake with sun dog tours. We saw black and grizzly bears, eagles, mountain goats, elk and long horned sheep and lots of other wildlife. Wonderful comfortable accommodation.

Columbine House is a jewel in Jasper.  Best stay on our Rockies Tour. Lovely, immaculately clean and warm downstairs studio, very roomy, charmingly decorated with great attention to detail. Comfy queen bed, couches ( one a sleeper), chairs, satellite TV. Lots of towels, bathrobes,   CD's, many books and periodicals about the area. Karen gave us helpful   suggestions as to places to go and restaurants.  We loved Fiddle River Restaurant and Raven Bistro,  gourmet meals, reasonably priced. The best part of all was the yummy home made yogurt,  bread, jams,  and granola, fruit, cereal, oatmeal etc. for breakfast and plenty to take for lunch. we bought peanut butter and had sandwiches. Popcorn,  soup packets,  and lots of beverage choices, tea of all kinds, coffee, milk, orange juice, are also available in your own kitchenette. Tea kettle, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hair dryer, iron all provided. Private entrance with patio,, hosts are available when needed but give you privacy. Plan to recommend to all our friends. So much better than a hotel. A perfect ten. Loved it.

Thank you for your heartfelt Hospitality! Your comments and suggestions were excellent and my cousin and I appreciated it very much!

Coming back after 2 long days of hiking and looking for animals - and also enjoying the Miette Hot Springs - was great to know that a spotlessly clean and organized, cozy place was waiting for us. The patio area was lovely also!

Take care, thanks for making our Jasper stay so great!

God Bless!

Dear Karen,

Thank you for your hospitality. We've enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house. You were like and invisible fairy to us and we loved the home-made bread.

Thanks for all!

Having been on the road now for 1 1/2 weeks, staring off in Vancouver via Banff and Jasper National Park to Edmonton, staying every night somewhere else, we're heading back across the Rockies a second time. Arriving here to stay felt like coming home, as the cozy sofas and plenty of books awaited us after a snowy ride. Thanks for the hospitality and relaxing atmosphere. This truely is the best accommodation on our trip.

- Sanne & Bernd, from Groningen, The Netherlands 16 February 2008

Dear Karen, Thank you so much for your hospitality @ such short notice. So much more than a bed for the night - with all the comforts of home. Thanks again!
