Excellent after about eight visits. Everything done right!

- Lew & Laura, from Tillsonburg, ON 22 June 2019

We stayed here for 4 nights during the last week of Sept 2017. Ruth (Rosie) & Harvey are the salt of the earth, great conversationalists, with a common sense approach to life. Staying with them was our pleasure and their breakfast each day is outstanding. We will certainly stay with them during our next trip into the Petrolia area!!

It was my 1st. time staying at Rosie's Bed & Breakfast and the service was just wonderful. It was very clean and the food was just lovely. They made us so welcome in their home and offered their living room for us all to share and visit as we attended a Memorial Service for a family member. I would stay there for sure again.

My family went to Petrolia to attend a celebration of life for my cousins husband. There was 8 of us needing a room and we were fortunate to be referred to" Rosies B&B" From the luxurious robes available for every guest to the comfortable beds everything was top notch. We had tv in every room as well as wifi. Breakfasts were delicious served in the formal dining room with homemade jam, warm muffins, as well as eggs, bacon, sausages ,pancakes and lovely fresh fruit All of these things were much appreciated but the best part of our stay was the host and hostess. My cousin whose husband had died had just moved into a very small seniors apartment leaving us no place to congregate and visit. Some of us had traveled a long distance and not seen each other for several years. Ruth and Harvey were kind enough to offer us the use of their living room so we could get together as a family. they even invited my cousin to join us for breakfast before we left to drive home. These gestures meant a great deal to us and were certainly more than we ever expected. I am very happy to recommend "Rosies B&B"on behalf of my family

Rosie's Bed and Breakfast is a perfect resting spot. It's clean, comfortable and Ruth and Harvey are superb hosts. My family took over all of the rooms while attending a local reunion and awoke to the wonderful aromas of bacon frying, home made muffins baking and hot coffee brewing. It was Heavenly! Lovely place run by lovely people. PK

Rosie's is one of the best B & B's that I've stayed in. The hostess & host are so friendly, the rooms are lovely & the breakfasts are the best. There isn't anything that isn't done to make the vist a home away from home. The garden & deck are so relaxing. My stay was wonderful.

- S. B., from Guelph, Ontario 27 August 2012

Rosie's is a wonderful gem. Her place is neat and spacious and her hospitality ranks with the best we've ever experienced. Not only was she helpful and courteous, she also regaled us with her stories as we sat on her deck for breakfast. We'd recommend Rosie's without hesitation.

My wife and I are members of Kitchener-Waterloo Musical Productions, and had planned to stay with Rosie for 3 nights. The Great Snow Storm of 2010 marooned us in Petrolia, when Rosie graciously kept her doors open to not only us, but 14 other members of our cast. Her kindness and generosity knows no bounds. Not to mention that the Bed and Breakfast itself is very clean, has a wonderful atmosphere and is full of very interesting tid bits about her time spent as a miner 800 miles from the North Pole!

Thank you SO much Rosie for all you did for us during our "extended" stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to be marooned! :)

- Graham and Jill Duench, from Waterloo, Ontario 18 December 2010

Small town hospitality at its best! Rosie (Ruth) was amazingly kind to our family during the tragic loss of a daughter, niece, cousin. She took care of our out of town family and would not accept any reimbursements. The rooms and food were comforting and homey. We could not have asked for any better. Thanks Rosie- We love you!
