There is a lot to like about this place. Canmore is far quieter than Banff. The location of this B&B is just a few blocks from the town shops and restaurants, but also backs up to the river and walking trails. The room is beautifully furnished, with a comfortable bed, 2-person hot tub, unlimited DVDs, homemade muffins, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, yogurt, bread, etc. Bob & Val are friendly and gentle hosts who provided excellent recommendations on what to see and do in the area. We especially appreciated the advice to visit Kananaskis country and avoid the crowds around Banff on a busy summer Saturday.

Canadian artisans is truly the best experience you can have in a b& b in the beautiful town of canmore. Nestled in the trees, a few steps to the river and the beautiful mountain vista as your backdrop. The forest suite we stayed in was very spacious with a queen sized bed, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, stained glass, etc. Every detail thruout this stunning b and b has shown pride of ownership by our gracious hosts val and bob. The great breakfast w varieties of fresh berries, breads, cherries, cream yogurts,omelates....val was very helpful with planning our daily activities re the best hikes, places to dine etc. Located a few minutes to mainstreet. This was our first stay but definitely will not be our last. We looking forward to visiting again.

We had a very enjoyable three night stay here in the Forest suite. Room was lovely, comfortable and clean with a big whirlpool bath. Easy walking distance into Canmore town and near the Bow River and lots of walking trails. Val and Bob were extremely welcoming and kind hosts and Val's breakfasts have to be seen to be believed. Would highly recommend.

What a gorgeous place! We have voted it best BB we have ever been to. Not just for the looks but for the service as well. Val and Bob have done a masterful job of creating an experience bordering on royalty. The breakfasts starting with yougurt, fresh blueberries and home-made granola were perfectly prepared and delicious. The location is well situated between the Bow river and downtown Canmore. Highly recommended for the discerning traveller!

This is a gem of a place! Our room was absolutely beautiful with all the natural wood and stained glass work. The breakfast table in the morning was also a work of art. The food was delicious and included everything from fresh fruit to sinfully good pastries. My husband and I felt like royalty. Staying here is a must if you are in the Banff-Canmore area.
