Wonderful place. Delicious breakfast served by Cheryl the hostess. Highly recommended. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom with the private bathroom. Very reasonably priced.

Excellent! The breakfasts are to die for. Cheryl is a perfect host

- Rodger Harp, from Ontario 31 October 2017

We stayed here in July 2017 on our way to Newfoundland. All the words I have to describe perfection can be used here fabulous, exceptional, amazing. The house is vintage as are all the items inside. It is actually more like a museum. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Cheryl is an amazing woman who definitely goes way above and beyond. There was everything one could possibly want for breakfast but you could not possibly try everything out. She made eggs, sausage, toast, blueberry pancakes, banana bread, and much, much more — all homemade plus additional items for a person who had dietary restrictions. This in itself is enough to put her way up on the ‘honourable mention’ list. But wait, there is more! In the evening, she set out some wine and some crackers with dip — just in case someone was hungry after a long drive. You can see that I just can’t say enough about this wonderful BB.

- Joyce and Evan Holmes, from Surrey, BC 5 October 2017

Our fiend Flo recommended Chamber's B&B and we are glad she did. We were welcomed with a genuine cheery way. We liked the sign by the door that said "If no response to ringing the bell- pull weeds!" Cheryl has a great sense of hospitality and humour. Her home is lovely and our room was spacious and comfortable. Her breakfasts were delicious with a variety of dishes and plentiful tea and coffee. We felt like old friends.

- Gerald and Shelley, from Sundre, Alberta 2 October 2017

Enjoyed our stay. Rooms very nice and comfortable. Cheryl was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Would stay there again.

Hello Travellers, The Chamber's Guest House in North Sydney is a wonderful Bed & Breakfast that supersedes all expectations. My friend and I travelled to N. Sydney and were fortunate enough to have Cheryl's place as a jumping off point for the ferry to Newfoundland. The Chamber's home exceeds all standards for cleanliness, location, accommodations and feeling over the top in being welcomed from start to finish. Cheryl, aside from being very much the perfect hostess, puts on a breakfast fest that is more than outstanding.

- Randall, from Campbellford, Ontario 23 August 2017

We spent two nights at Cheryl's beautiful B&B. One night before the ferry ride to Newfoundland and the other on our way back home. Absolutely lovely room and amazing breakfast!!! We enjoyed ourselves so much with the overwhelming hospitality of Cheryl. Loved everything about it!!!

- Charles and Donna Wylie, from Wasaga Beach, Ontario 30 June 2017

This is a beautiful B & B with lots of charm. It is spotless and the breakfast were fantastic, cranberry scones were delicious. Home made maple syrup and plenty more, we were really spoiled. Cheryl is a wonderful hostess and very accommodating. We spent four night here and hated to leave!

- Anonymous, 22 June 2017

We stayed here twice once on our way to NL and on our way back as well. The B&B is in a quiet neighbourhood with a lovely garden and outdoor seating if you so wish to sit outside. The B&B is 5 min to Ferry Terminal and Restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and you won't be left feeling hungry by the time you are done. This is a 4 star in my opinion.(would give 5 star if we didn't have small kids with us)

- James Burns & Serena Crooks, from Newmarket, On 24 August 2016

We stayed at Chamber's Guest House in June and totally enjoyed ourselves. The room was spacious, bathroom lovely and the morning breakfast was fantastic. If you are ever in the area and are looking for a great spot to be comfortable before you head to the Cabot Trail or catch the ferry to NFLD we highly recommend visiting Cheryl.

- Doran Hayes, from Ontario, Canada 18 July 2016

This is a real hidden gem. Cheryl is very gracious, and prepares a feast for breakfast. She makes sure all the little details are taken care of, and is obviously very proud of her home. This is probably one of the most pleasant B&B we've stayed at.

- David & Elaine, from Windsor, ON 15 July 2015

I stayed there last Saturday. I love the place as it is so neat and clean, with very comfortable bed. Best B&B breakfast.

We spent 4 nights at Cheryl's B & B and felt very comfortable there. Everything we needed was there for us. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Any requests we had were immediately looked after. Plan to stay there again when in that area, probably next year. Thanks Cheryl

- N & C Wilson, from Petitcodiac, New Brunswick 8 August 2014

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the 'Chamber's Guest House B&B' on our way to and while returning from Newfoundland this past August. The owner/operator, Cheryl Chambers, is a warm and charming lady who is prepared to go the extra step to ensure your stay is comfortable. Her breakfast spread is without doubt the best and freshest you will see anywhere. Her delightful home is convenient to the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal - a must stay while in North Sydney.

- Lee & Betty Myrhaugen, from Head St. Margaret's Bay, Nova Scotia, B3Z 2A7 29 August 2013

I recently stayed at Chamber's Bed and Breakfast in North Sydney, NS. My room was excellent, the bed was comfortable and the room was large and clean. Cheryl was very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious with a variety of choices. I would definitely stay there again.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. A beautiful & comfortable home that appealed to all three generations of us who came for a stay last summer. Cheryl Chambers has a natural & graceful easy-going way that makes people feel completely at home. I can't recommend Chamber's highly enough!

This is an impressive Victorian home, beautifully decorated, and full of exquisite collections of antiques and just the right touches. Our room was beautiful, clean, comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed. There was lots of room for our stuff, along with comfortable chairs for reading or relaxing, and the bed was great. Breakfasts were delicious with a generous variety of food served in an elegant setting. Cheryl is friendly, gracious and down to earth. and modest about the treasure of a home she shares. It is a gorgeous B&B that feels luxurious and elegant but still comfortable. We had an absolutely lovely time, and will definitely stay here again whenever we return to the area.

- Wendy & Rick, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada 10 November 2012

Friends and I spent 3 very happy days at Ms. Chambers B&B. It was utterly charming, filled with exquisite antiques, art and historical treasures. Ms. Chambers could not have been more friendly and accommodating, and take her advice on restaurants and places to go! The breakfasts alone are worth the stay!!!.

- P. Holmes, from Winnipeg 7 October 2012

Chamber's Guest House is a whimsical, fun and well-kept place to stay! The rooms are historic without making you feel like you are staying in a museum. (Go for the second floor room with the private balcony; it has lots of space.) The breakfast is well-made and laid out with care, suing actual china! The hostess is gracious and fun -- all told, this is a place that I will return to again, and one I suggest as a first choice for anyone visiting North Sydney!

- James Careless, from Canada 25 June 2012

Chambers Guest house in the heart of North Sydney is one of the most beautiful B&B we have visited. We have stayed there on two seperate trips and it's a home away from home. Our room was just beautiful, very clean and the most comfortable bed. The house displays a wonderful collection of fine antique glass and dishes. Our morning breakfast was beautifully set in the main dining room. We had many choices from muffins, tea cakes, cereal, great coffee, eggs, breads, juice, fruit salad and much more to greet our morning. Cheryl is a very gracious host and made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this wonderful Guest house and B&B.

- Phil and Madeline Healey, from Kingston, Ontario 30 October 2011

- Rosemary Richmond, from Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan 8 September 2011

We have stayed at Chambers B&B any time we go to North Sydney. We have stayed in room 2,3 and 4, all were very nice. Last weekend we had room 3 with the balcony, it was fabulous. As our stay always is. Cheryl is a wonderful hostess and we always look forward to seeing her mom when she is there also. The breakfast is out of this world, fresh ground coffee, yummy baked goods, homeade jams and jellies, fresh fruit salad, eggs, cereal, begals, oh my where do you start. The rooms are so relaxing, lovely decor, you feel like royalty with all the linens, china and crystal. It is without a doubt the go to place on Cape Breton Island.

- Chuck and Kathy Kelland, from New Glasgow, Nova Scotia 6 September 2011

We stayed at Chambers's B and B on August 27 and will be back again on September 1st. Cheryl, our host was wonderful . . . we enjoyed our stay so much. We had room 3 with a beautiful balcony overlooking the gardens and we sat out all afternoon. Everything was perfect.

- tim and michelle newman, from sudbury ontario 27 August 2010

We had the good fortune to stay here on two occasions in 2010 while dealing with the ridiculous ferry to and from Newfoundland. The home is charming and decorated with care. The breakfasts are varied and there is much home baking in evidence. There is a great veranda for sitting. The highlight however is the host, Cheryl. We can't say enough about her willingness to accommodate our needs. When we first arrived there we had just ridden our motorcycle through a very severe downpour and Cheryl immediately took charge of our soaking wet raingear and distributed it all around her house so that it could dry out quickly. Try to stay over on a Thursday and get Cheryl to tell you where Rollies is. Don't miss it.

- Nola and Dave Simm, from White Rock, B.C. 12 August 2010
