One of the most beautiful B&Bs I have had the pleasure to stay at. My coworker & myself stayed for a week while working in the area & couldn't be happier with our accommodations. The home & grounds were impeccable. The area was just magnificent. The owners, Steve & Sylivia, could not have been any kinder & attuned to our needs. Even wanted them to adopt me. LOL Would certainly recommend this beautiful 5* B&B.

We loved our stay at Aspen Grove. It is a beautiful home with amazing landscaping. Steve and Sylvia are very welcoming and accommodating and we enjoyed fireside chats with them. The common area is comfortable and the kitchen is well supplied with everything we needed.(You make your own breakfast.) We enjoyed the walks and beautiful scenery in the area. The price is very reasonable and would highly recommend Aspen Grove!

Aspen Grove is in a perfect, quiet location just off the highway. It is a quick drive to Beaver Mines and everything you'd want to do in Castle Provincial Park. The BnB house itself is stunning. Everything is beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the Victoria Room, which had a full ensuite bathroom and a door from the room out to the deck, where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air and amazing mountain views. The Castle Room across the hall also has an ensuite bathroom. The grounds are lovely to walk around or sit on the deck or in the gazebo. Lots of choices for sun or shade. Steve and Sylvia are very friendly and love to hang out and chat, if you want to. Staying at Aspen Grove gives you access to the guest kitchen - which is a large, full kitchen with everything you could need for cooking, including fridge, stove, pots/pans, plates, cutlery, etc., etc. And the barbecue outside! We made good use of the cooking facilities. Steve and Sylvia also cut a trail through their property so you can do a short hike. It is amazing to hike on private property, with no one else around! Just remember your bear safety, and ask Steve and Sylvia if you forget your bear spray!

My son and I had the pleasure of staying at this B & B for two nights in August 2017. Everything was great. It is a beautiful home with an amazing yard in a beautiful area. The rooms were very nice and had comfortable beds. It was very clean, the hosts were very gracious, and the breakfast was great. Truly a great experience. I strongly recommend it.

As an avid Skier I chose Castle Mountain many years ago and at the same time I wanted to find a Bed and Breakfast Location as close as possible to the Ski Area. By Coincidence I discovered this beautiful Home and when I met John and Helen for the first time, I could see the Pride in their Accomplishment. They are the perfect Hosts and all the Guests are treated as their Friends. The delicious Breakfasts prepared by the Chef, John himself, with all the special Jams, Yoghurts and different Breakfast Choices, it feels like a 5 star Hotel. I have been their Guest numerous Times, sometimes with my Wife, she is not a Skier but feels very comfortable and at home in this beautiful Place. They made many changes since our first Visit, the Hot Tub is gone now, but there is a cozy small cabin replacing it, this is suitable for a nice get together with the Hosts to enjoy a glass of wine and conversation. Several Times I was able to bring some visitors from Germany along for the Skiing, but we also enjoyed a few Visits during the Summer Months. I can only hope that John and Helen are in no Hurry to retire; at least as long as my Ski Trips are possible.but at the age of 86 I don,t make any more long term Plans. We will be visiting them again in the very near Future and as always, we will be treated like old Friends.

My husband & I, sibs/spouses recently spent several nights at Aspen Grove. We like B&B’s because we enjoy getting to know the locals and visiting with other guests. John & Helen and their wonderful home are jewels in the industry! The house and lovely grounds were spotless and spacious. Breakfasts were delicious and liberally sprinkled with homemade jams and granola, and the time is flexible to suit guests’ needs. Our hosts were interesting, gracious people who seem to really love what they’re doing. Their advice on places to visit was spot on. We highly recommend Aspen Grove to anyone looking for a great escape into the woods of southern Alberta

- Jacque, from Texas 30 September 2015

Aspen Grove is a real gem! Beautiful house and grounds, warm and friendly hosts and delicious breakfasts. The full kitchen and family room in the lower level was perfect for us (there were 6 of us) to gather in the evenings to play games. One advantage of staying in a B&B is the interesting people you meet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the place highly.

- Carol, from Toledo, OH 28 September 2015

My husband and I had the extreme pleasure of staying at the Aspen Grove B&B in August, 2015. John and Helen feel like long lost friends more than hosts; in short, they are inviting, interesting, and entertaining. The accommodations are absolutely top notch and the breakfasts were the perfect start to our day.

I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend this B&B to anyone seeking a tranquil getaway from the real world. Lots to see and do in the area and easily accessible (or not :)).

Simply Divine!

- Darron Field and Joël Marcon, from Winnipeg, Canada 24 August 2015

Everything about this B and B is outstanding! To stay here is a destination in itself. The spectacular landscaping, the view from the garden, the well equipped kitchen and family room with satellite TV for guests to use,the comfortable bedrooms with beautiful linens, spotless bathrooms, delicious fresh fruits and home-cooked delights for breakfast are just a few of the attractions. Above all is the welcome and assistance from hosts John and Helen who treat their guests as friends from time of arrival to departure.

We only had two nights to spend at the Aspen Grove B&B, and after those two nights, we would have extended our stay had we the time! John and Helen set a very high standard of quality in their B&B, while maintaining an easy-going and friendly atmosphere. A beautiful setting, inviting hosts, comfortable accommodations and delicious food await you here. What a great experience.

- Candice, John & Maebry, from Edmonton, Alberta 29 June 2015

A totally unexpected experience! This has to be the BEST B&B in Canada. John and Helen have succeeded in providing the perfect "Home away from Home". A beautiful house, a wonderful breakfast and delightful company - we only wish we could have stayed longer. We will be recommending this superb accommodation to all our friends heading to Waterton National Park - we could not fault a thing. Thank you again John and Helen

My husband & I enjoyed our recent stay at this beautiful B&B. This home is gorgeous, more like a mansion. We rented both the rooms on the lower level and enjoyed every minute of our stay. John & Helen are awesome hosts. There is a huge area on the lower level for guests to cook meals, eat, watch a movie, read or just sit by the beautiful fireplace. Believe me when I say you'll love it here!!! We did lots of hiking at Waterton Lakes National Park. The scenery driving back and forth to Aspen Grove was outstanding. Such wonderful memories of our time here. Thanks soooo much John and Helen.

I have just discovered a most amazing place with very gracious hosts----Aspen Grove B&B. I can not stop raving to my friends & family about this great place and my experience staying there. Only one night was enough to know that I will plan to return very soon. Everything about it is FIRST CLASS!

- Bonnie Fisher, from Red Deer, AB 16 June 2014

It is a real pleasure for us to write this communication to you regarding our stay at Aspen Grove B&B.

We must point out that we initiated this letter simply because we felt it necessary to let you know an express our deepest thankfulness for the hospitality my wife and I received from our hosts John and Helen Neudorf.

From the moment we arrived we were helped with our luggage and given a warm welcome with guided tour and the pleasantries of feeling right at home. The breakfasts were delicious and very satisfying. They were overwhelming!

As my wife and prepared for the day (we enjoy our picnic lunches) and with that being said our hosts equipped us with cooler and ice packs. They even insisted in letting us help ourselves to breakfast left --over’s and some fresh fruit. Upon our return in the evening we felt so bad interrupting there supper dinner, however our hosts didn’t think anything of it and told us to come in and join them at there supper table for an evening of tea. We would gab for hours. It was delightful! As quoted, “We came as guests and left as friends”!

We strongly recommend this B&B, as John and Helen are terrific hosts. The relaxing drive through spectacular countryside and mountains are breathtaking and attractions are so conveniently close-- by that make this B&B a favorite of ours to come back to.

Thanks again John and Helen!

We stayed in this B&B for three nights in June 2012. We had a great time! John and Helen are very friendly and very thoughtfull. We stayed with our 3-year-old and they even had a very big dollhouse to play with. The livingroom and kitchen are very cozy and you will find there everything you need. The breakfast is very complete with fresh seasonal fruits and homemade jam. Just perfect. We didn't want to leave. Even our little one wants to go back to her "canadian grandma". Thanks a lot John and Helen.

I stayed with John and Helen at Aspen Grove for parts of several weeks this winter. It is worth going just to hang out with them. We had a lot of laughs and a lot of extremely interesting conversations between us and the other guests. And this is not to mention the house that John built and the forest and mountain setting that he built it in. Magnificent. I love it there, so will you!!

- Keivn Zentner, from Cochrane, Alberta Canada 17 May 2011

Worth the little extra drive off-the-beaten-path to experience a beautiful & serene B&B with snow-covered mountains & tall pine trees in the background. Gracious host and hostess, impeccable, inviting home with many extras like hot-tub, stimulating conversations, great views, and wonderful full-course breakfast. We give them 5 stars!!
