My husband and I recently stayed at The Willows Inn for two nights. Dawn is a very accommodating host, the breakfasts and ambience were great - a quiet and relaxing stay, which was just what we needed!

- L. Reimer, from Toronto 4 September 2018

We recently stayed for 4 nights in this little gem, in a large room on the main floor. I was a bit concerned about the proximity of the railroad, but it wasn't as noticeable as I thought it might be (well sound-proofed and I use earplugs as I am a light sleeper). The grounds and deck are beautiful with a great view of the lake. Breakfasts were ample and tasty. If you are not a kayaker/canoer and you'd like to see the lake, islands, and lighthouse, consider taking a tour with Discovery Charters. It is money well spent! Thank you Dawn -- for the loving care you obviously give this B&B.

I recently stayed at the Willows. It was clean, quiet and inviting. Dawn was an exceptional host who even put my fish, which we caught off the Superior islands, in her own freezer during our stay (5 days). Breakfast was great, on time and kept us going during long days of fishing for trophy trout. The Willows was the right choice and I will be back- excellent B&B.

This was our first real experience with a B&B and it hooked us! The room was comfortable and immaculately clean. The train was soothing and brought back memories of my youth in Stratford listening to the trains go by. Breakfast was a hit and a great send-off for the next leg of our trip to Alberta. Thanks for the experience.

After driving for many hours, nothing is more valuable to us than quiet relaxation. The Willows personifies. Nestled in a small village with little traffic, this B&B is well designed with every room having a lovely view of the bay. An excellent breakfast and our hostess cooks any type of egg to perfection. We highly recommend this oasis.

The Willows was the second stop on our Lake Superior circle tour. When we came across from Wawa, it was 39 degrees, raining mixed with snow and we were on a motorcycle. The Room at the Willows was very clean, warm and welcome. The Trans Canada train tracks are less than 100 feet from the building, but it was surprisingly quiet in the room. The place is beautiful inside and out. A lot of care was used in the beautiful flower gardens.

I visited the Willows during a kayaking symposium. It was welcoming, cozy and the food is amazing. I would recommend this jewel to any of my friends.

My dauhter-in-law treated her mother and me to a surprise night at The Willows Inn on our way from Thunder Bay. What a delight. I have to use a cane so the Salter Room was available to us. We had a lovely stay. Delicious food, charming hostess and we met fellow guests who were world travellers. I hope I am able to return to The Willows Inn next year.

great place, very clean, friendly & helpful and fabulous views of the greatest Great Lake.

We stayed at The Willows enroute from BC to our new home in southern Ontario....it was a lovely and relaxing home. Dawn is a gracious host and her home allows for both social mixing (we enjoyed talking to the other guests) and for privacy as the guest rooms are large and nicely done. It was close to the Inn for dinner and Dawn's breakfast was delicious. With only a couple minutes drive from the highway, this is a wonderful stop.

We recently stayed at the Willows Inn B&B. We arrivied in the late afternoon Friday 22nd of April 2011. It was very easy to find. (Rossport is a quaint little port on Lake Superior). Our host Dawn welcomed us and made us feel comfortable with her home. The room was large, very clean and new. The view from the windows was perfect. My wife and I sat the evening away overlooking the bay. The Inn is close to a railroad track and you heard the train go by but was not unpleasant at all. We were not waken by it at all during the night. Morning came and Dawn had breakfest right on time, and very enjoyable one I assure you. It was a pleasure to stay at the Willows Inn B&B. We enjoy meeting Dawn and Buster. My one and only complaint was the quietness, one thing I am sure I could learn to over come and enjoy even more.

- Patricia and Marc, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada 24 April 2011

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Willows Inn. The room was first rate - spacious, clean and well-appointed with a wonderful view over the harbour. The breakfast was superb with lots of choice. The locally produced sausages were very tasty and the quiche was excellent. We will be back to stay again and take n a hike along the trail to Schreiber.

- Sue and Doug, from Gananoque Ontario 22 July 2010

2008 and 2009 visits to the Willows Inn B &B were outstanding. Excellent food choices prepared by Dawn. Extraorindarily clean rooms and very comfortable common area for guests to relax and find refreshment. I would rate it 5 star or better. Hospitality plus and an exceptionally wonderful environment are a great find.
