Stayed at curtain call while visiting the Stratford Festival in May 2017 and had an amazing experience. Angie and James were great hosts and the B&B is beautiful with a great location! Definitely will be back!

We've stayed at Curtain Call 5 times since we discovered it in 2012, and now it's the only place we stay unless it's already full. Angie and James are simply the best hosts. The B&B is so comfortable - every aspect. Love to sit on the porch and relax any time of day. The house is spotless and the décor charming. And the food... yum. The room we usually stay in has a mini fridge which is helpful. All the amenities you need - shampoo, hairdryer, bottled water. And the location is perfect - we basically park our car when we get there and don't get in it again until we leave. Convenient walk to all theatres and downtown. We are going there again next week, and are very much looking forward to it!

Angela and James were awesome hosts. Very friendly, chatty and accommodating — to say the least! We had bought some cheap wine, cheese and crackers to have out on the deck and James went out of his way to spruce it up for us. It looked like something out of a magazine with added sliced fruit and a rich spread. Breakfast was fantastic too. We had both the eggs benedict and the pumpkin waffles. So much food, but we ate every bite. Besides that, the room was comfy and clean. We were allowed to keep our stuff in the room all day Sunday until we had to catch our bus, which was remarkably convenient. We were happy we found this place! Next time we're back in Stratford we will surely stay with them again.

This is a gem in the heart of Stratford, where the accommodations, ambiance, breakfasts, and hosts are perfect. We stayed for 4 nights, were pampered throughout our stay, and are looking forward to returning. It's the best value in town, too, and Angie is simply the best. Highly recommend.

Numerous stays, same wonderful, hospitable BB hosts. Nice room sizes, breakfast room and sitting areas, inside and out. Walking distance to theatre district, downtown, train station and across the street from quiet park. Superb breakfast served with skill and style. You will enjoy the ambience and look forward to each visit.

I usually don't stay in the same B & B twice as there is always something I don't like. Not anymore! I was given a very warm welcome by James, a hospitality industry pro, who got me settled in record time and proved a great source of info for local restaurants and sights. The Curtain Call is charming and could not be more ideally placed to explore Stratford by foot and get to all theatres plus downtown. It is on an exceptionally quiet street across from a park. Guests are welcome to lounge on the front porch, and soon there will be a gazebo custom-designed by Angie's son, a set designer. Moving inside, the house is nicely decorated with a lounge area. They're great at thinking of the little touches such as complimentary umbrellas to borrow if it rains. My bedroom had a very comfortable mattress, a small refrigerator with complimentary water and a small TV and extra blankets and pillows. The bathroom is a good size (not always the case in older homes). And then there is breakfast! It is served when you want it, not when it is convenient for the hosts, both of whom are gourmet chefs. Angie whips up homemade muffins, scones and other goodies alongside fresh fruit, yogurt and such. The main events, from classic bacon-and-eggs to a killer asparagus strata converted picky me to a breakfast eater. For friendly, involved and outgoing hosts, as well as comfortable rooms and convenient location, you probably cannot beat this B & B.

We just completed our second stay at the Curtain Call B&B. The hospitality of our hosts Angela & James were "1st cabin." The food is beyond description with fine presentation and delectable taste. The Inns' rooms are tastefully & romantically decorated. The central location allows for easy access to theatre, restaurants, shopping, sights and VIA rail depot. Recommend highly!
