How we could describe our stay at this B&B..........this is a must. This is a quiet place not so far from Gananogue or Kingston. This is a very beautiful and comfortable farm house. Our room was spacious, spotless and had a comfortable bed. There is so much to say about Nancy and Jim. Extraordinary peoples, they are well in from of your needs. We left with plates and a pair of their delicious home made muffin. For sure we will be back visiting the region and for sure it will be at Resting Rooster Farm B&B

Wonderful 2 night stay at the Resting Rooster. Jim and Nancy were so welcoming and accommodating. Their home is a treasure trove of antiques and evoked memories of days gone by...love that toaster. The room was spacious and spotless, had a comfortable bed and the full breakfast was more than one could ask for. Highly recommended !

Hello- We stayed at the Resting Rooster B & B a long time ago, about two years ago for two nights, but I had forgotten to write my testimonial. I wanted to look them up once again and I can definitely say this has been my favourite B & B! The hosts are the most friendly people and make you feel so comfortable. Lovely surroundings with flowers and gardens to look at and antiques galore inside.

My daughter mathilde and myself were very happy of our stay in Kingston. Jim and Nancy welcomed us with a lot of kindness and we had a very good contact with them. They have a surprising house with a lot of memories (In particular a famous tortoise!). Of more their house is situated a few kilometers away from Rockport who is an ideal place to go to make the cruise on miles islands.

What is not to like? Nancy and Jim's hospitality is quite extraordinary! One could spend weeks discovering all the knick-knacks lovingly assembled, or just spend time petting the barn cats - or for the braver ones, Jim's cows and calves (but not the bull, don't go near the bull!) A cozy bed, a sundrenched bathtub, acres of land to walk...Sleep or gaze, it's up to you. Thank you again to our hosts.

My niece and I just spent last night at the Resting Rooster and found Nancy and Jim to be very gracious hosts. Our breakfast was amazing and we are so for the opportunity. Thank you Nancy and Jim. We loved our stay and will highly recommend your wonderful home. Vicky and Jordyn We had a great day at the lake.

We spent two magical nights at Jim and Nancy's farm. It's an ideal location with respect to convenience (5 min drive from 401) and remoteness (quiet little town; house is surrounded by the beauty of the countryside). The comfort and conditions was beyond excellent and we loved the unique personality of the house. Jim and Nancy are the sweetest couple, great cooks, friendly hosts and hard working people. I especially loved Nancy's apple pancake!

We intend to return to the area as the islands are beautiful, and when we do we will most certainly stay at the Resting Rooster again.

Jim and Nancy are very precious, full of fun and they make a mean breakfast. The farmhouse is full of interest and the nearby attractions make it an ideal stopover point if traveling the 401 highway.

A recommander !!!

Hi Nancy and Jim,

Just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful hospitality you gave us. You have a very beautiful and comfortable home and you are both very kind. We enjoyed our stay and will certainly visit you again if we are in that area. We had a wonderful weekend and a good trip back. Now in packing mode as we take possession of our new home at the end of the month. Take care Luc & Tammy xx
