We had an amazing stay with Arch and Marie! The house and room were kept very clean. Arch and Marie are very friendly and my wife and I enjoyed tea and treats every night with them. The location is great. Lots to see and do close by, and we were given a map and advice about sights to see and restaurants in the area when we arrived. Superb breakfasts and a great selection of 48 jams and jellies. We stayed 5 enjoyable nights. Thanks Marie and Arch!

Arch and Marie are the most wonderful hosts in a very comfortable, immaculate home. They make you feel so welcome, as if you've known them for years. The map and information they provided on things to see and do in the area was very helpful. Breakfast was special, with 48 jars of jam placed on the table each morning and Marie taking your personalized order, followed by a scrumptious meal. The fresh homemade bread and French toast were awesome! This B & B is a "must" stay if you are traveling to Newfoundland - definitely a 5 star!! Thank you, Arch and Marie, for your warm hospitality and making us feel so welcome in your home. We hope we will be able to visit you again.

This is a 4 star b&b that is, in our opinion, should be a 5 star. My wife and I spent two nights at White's and given the opportunity will stay here again in the future. Our room was spacious with a private bathroom. Everything was spotless. Marie and Arch were very helpful in guiding us with suggestions of things to see and do. The location of their home proved to be ideal. If my wife and I were 30 years younger we would seriously consider purchasing this meticulously kept property.

Really enjoyed our stay at this B&B . Cleanliness, hospitality and friendliness of the owners, Marie & Arch was second to none. The food was great! I loved Marie's homemade French toast and her jams. Would highly recommend this place to stay in Bonavista, NL. 5 stars for sure!!!

My husband & I had an incredible stay. The accommodations were amazing and Marie & Archie went out of their way to make you feel welcome & advised us what to do & see in the area. An amazing breakfast with lots of extras!!! We hope to visit them again and would highly recommend this B & B to everyone.

Arch and Marie have a lovely B & B. Quiet comfort, spotlessly clean, excellent ensuite. Perfect location for visiting the Lighthouse and puffins just 5 minutes away, and the interesting town of Bonavista. Arrived to the mouthwatering smell of bread baking. We were welcomed in and met the other guests over tea and a magnificent plateful of homemade goodies. Wonderful idea to compare stories and places to visit. The next morning - despite having been forewarned by previous reviews - the breakfast table positively groaned with a rainbow of 48 - yes, count them, 48 jams, jellies and preserves. Although we tried our best to sample as many as possible, I think we only managed half before our generous helpings of french toast ran out and we manfully pushed ourselves away from the table. Thank you Marie and Arch for allowing us to share your home - wish it could have been for more than one night.

Stayed here June 28th to July 2nd 2016. Bonnavista is awesome, b and b is awesome and so are Marie and Arch. They are so welcoming and make you feel at home straight away. Room was perfect and breakfast amazing with 48 jams to try out. Well worth a visit and highly recommended.

- Sue Payne, from Bulgaria 24 July 2016

This BNB is exceptional. The people cannot do enough for you. We stayed here in June/16. The breakfast was wonderful and who could forget 47 jars of various kinds of jellies and jams! The home made bread was to die for. Kindness and hospitality aboud. We will definately go again.

- dianne, from toronto 5 July 2016

Thank you Marie and Arch! Our stay was memorable thanks to you! We had a very comfortable bed and cozy room with all the amenities. We looked forward to your breakfast which was delicious and plentiful, and of course trying as many of the 47 jams as possible! Home-made bread was out-of-this-world. I must remark on the extraordinarily clean bedroom and bathroom (which I have the bad habit of checking since my days working in a 5 Star/5 Diamond hotel). Would love to stay with you again and highly recommend your warm hospitality. Also, we appreciate you taking the time to share tidbits on culture, history, information on the area. We were fortunate to see puffins because of you. Thank you!

Arch and Marie are very inviting and the nicest people. They provide a lot of local and must see info. The house is extremely clean with an "at home" comfortable feel. Her signature 43 home made jams at breakfast were amazing. They definitely go out of their way to welcome you. First time at a B&B and would do it again.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Whites in August, 2013 and found it to be a lovely, clean home with warm and friendly hosts. Bonavista is a beautiful area and Marie and Arch were so helpful in directing us to the sights. Marie's jams and homemade bread couldn't have been better. We so enjoyed our informative conversations with both of them and were pleased that we got the opportunity to see the impressive old Bonavista United Church. We will definitely recommend this B&B.

Stunning value in this lovely B & B. The ensuite room is exceptionally comfortable, with a lovely view of the bay. Breakfast was good and accompanied by 50 varieties of homemade jam. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone staying in Bonavista.

- Ray and Marcia, from Alberta 23 August 2009

Stayed at White's B & B for one night in May 2006 and loved it. Mr and Mrs White had a warm welcome for us and the room was clean and pretty. You don't want to miss breakfast as Mrs White is an excellent cook and you get to taste her wonderful homemade jams and jellies. I would definitely stay there again.
