  • Location: 7 min. east of Orangeville, near Orangeville Fairgrounds, Hockley Resort, Taoist Centre; 15 min. to Caledon Equine Centre, Palgrave, as well as the Village of Alton, an hour north of Toronto's Pearson Airport, in the country.
  • In our 26th Year as a B&B. We have 3 guest bedrooms, private guest lounge, pool in season, we are a non-smoking B&B, guests welcome to smoke on our front covered porch & back porch.
  • Things to do in the area, check out Headwaters Tourism on the net, Theatre Orangeville, the Credit Valley Explorer: https://www.creditvalleyexplorer.com, book early for the Twilight supper trains which are great fun, our country restaurants, MonoCliffsInn
  • & Peter's Cellar, Mono Centre, Mrs. Mitchells Restaurant, Violet Hill, The Globe & Rosemont General Store, Rosemont, all with websites, all need reservations as they are very popular eating establishments. We're close to the Bruce Trail & will double-end
  • hikers with a donation to the Paraplegic's programme, Youth Canada, York Soaring Glider Club; we're a half hour from the glider club where rides are open to the public, we're a half hour as well to the charming town of Elora with shops & cafes, equestrian
  • competitive riders, we accommodate early morning risings,Dufferin County Museum Events: http://www.dufferinmuseum.com. We are close to the Hockley Resort & Tralee Estate for wedding guests, .


Check In/Check Out : Check in is from 12 noon on day of reservation to 8 pm at night unless prearranged with owners (i.e. late flight arrivals). We would appreciate being notified if you are later than your expected arrival time.
Cancellation : Reservations are not confirmed without a deposit. Cancellation one month prior to booking, full refund; after that, deposits are kept. We realize there are extenuating circumstances that can occur, please speak to us personally in this event..

DIRECTIONS: will be sent via email. OTHER INFORMATION: We welcome guests for one night to one week & hope that if you stay with us for an extended period of time, you will find a home away from home. PLEASE NOTE: Bed & Breakfasts are not commercial establishments & our rates reflect this. When you choose to stay in a B&B, you are staying in someone's home & you will experience more personalized attention as our guest. If you wish to bring a hamper of food with you, please do so. We provide a refrigerator for guest use only but ask that no food or beverages be taken into our guest bedrooms as we have had some unfortunate damage to rooms. Guests may eat in the guest lounge, dining room. If staying more than two nights, we suggest bringing take out foods & enjoy supper outside on our porches & picnic tables. LOCATION: We are near the Bruce Trail & will double-end hikers (see our main website for further information: www.farmerswalkbb.com. We are one line to the east of Hockley Resort & Weddings. We are 5 minutes from the Taoist Centre. OPEN YEAR ROUND: Note: January, 2018, we are closed for the month of January, open again, February 1st 2018. I am taking a month off to work in my studio this year. Winter activities: Snow shoeing, X-Country skiing (Monora Park), downhill (Hockley Resort or Mansfield), ice fishing (Island Lake).
