We've been back 10 times! It's our favorite getaway from Idaho - such a lovely setting, everything we need in a cozy, comfortable and impeccably clean little cottage, and sumptuous breakfasts cooked by our host, Marika. Marika herself is as much why we come as the B&B; she's a lovely, lively, and courteous person and creates a delightful home base to visit charming Nelson and environs.

We loved our stay at Cedarwood Cottage. It was nice to be in our own cottage with a bedroom and separate sitting area. It was clean and equipped with a coffee maker, small fridge, and had a great DVD collection. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had at a B&B. Marika made pancakes for my husband - and he ate 5! She made me scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa. It was all served piping hot - and the coffee was great too! Marika was a great hostess and we stayed to chat with her at the breakfast table. We left feeling like family and we would recommend Cedarwood Cottage very highly!! We will be back for sure.

Charming cottage, secluded but easy to find. It is exceptionally well appointed and very clean, the owner has thought of everything one might need. It was one of the nicest B&B's we have stayed in and I would recommend it without hesitation. Marika is a wonderful hostess and provides a great breakfast and delightful company.

Amazing value tucked away in the woods! We stayed in Sept. 2013 and enjoyed the European flare and elegant surroundings... most delicious breakfast. Marika obviously enjoys her passion as a B&B hostess. We look forward to a return visit: Vernon B.C.

.....Accommodations are plenty, but we recommend the charm, comfort, and chef-quality breakfasts with a view at Cedarwood Cottage B&B. Owner/hostess Marika Korompai keeps an immaculate home, plush gardens, and separate guest quarters a few miles south of town and slightly up a hill. We have grown to love her, as all her visitors seem to, evidenced by the comments in her 15-year guest autograph collection. Cedarwood is also a good value; at about $80 per night peak season it's a better bargain and more scenic than most places in town.....

We had a lovely stay at the cottage for two nights in August 2011. Marika is a wonderful host, we enjoyed seeing her in the morning during breakfast, and if possible, we'd love to return and stay some more nights another year.
