- Keith and Eileen, 31 October 2017

Definitely a hidden gem in Glovertown. The Inn is situated across from the harbour and has lovely gardens. Interior has wounderful decor. Stayed in Susie's room with the large balcony overlooking the gardens. The owner, Keith, recommended Happy Adventure restaurant to us which was a 25min drive. Turned out to be the most beautiful drive we've had over the past two weeks, highly recommend, the restaurant was very good too. Keith provided us with a delicious breakfast of yogat and fruit followed by a fruit and berry crepe drizzled with chocolalte. Thank you Keith for another lovely moment on our adventure in Newfoundland.

- Mary Louzon, from ONT Canada 4 October 2017

- Sheila, from New Hampshire USA 16 August 2016

We were a party of 4, using 2 rooms on 2 separate nights on our way to and from Gros Morne. We were quite pleased with the accommodations and breakfasts. Keith is a delight to talk with, whether about touring Newfoundland or about his personal experiences. We've been staying in B&Bs in the U.S. and Canada for over 20 years. We've had a few experiences that we wouldn't want to repeat, but The Lilac Inn is a place that we wouldn't hesitate to return to or to refer to a friend. Thanks for the good experience, Keith.

- Jerry Blythe, from Southlake, TX USA 27 July 2016

- Vic and Donna Janz, from Medicine Hat Alberta 19 June 2016

What a gem ! One of the best B@Bs we stayed at during our visit to NL. Keith & Eileen could not have been more accommodating, very helpful and pleasent with lots of helpful advice on the area. Our advice, stay two or three days, there are some lovely hikes and small fishing villages to explore along with a couple of very nice resurants, one in particular at Happy Adventure. Again, this Inn is a real gem, thanks for a wounderful stay.

As the 2013 season draws to an end we would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests for their contribution towards yet another excellent year. Whilst the income generated allows us the opportunity to live in and maintain this beautiful old house it's the atmosphere of fun and laughter created by our guests through the summer months that makes our contribution so worth well. Thank you, Keith and Eileen.

- Keith and Eileen Webb, 21 November 2013

We spent 2 nights in Sarah's room, August 6 & 7. A room fit for a princess -- or 3 princesses. :) Keith is a fabulous host, very warm and welcoming and ensures everything is just perfect. Lilac Inn has my highest recommendations and I will spread the word. My 88-yr old Mom, my sister and I enjoyed every minute. Would not change a thing, only to extend our stay. Keep up the great work! It's such a pleasure to be so welcomed and at home in a "home away from home"

- Marlene Hollett, Judy Bartlett and Mom (Edith Head), from Mount Pearl, NL, Milford, NS and Grand Falls Windsor, NL 10 August 2013
