I really enjoyed my stay at Minister's House B&B. The accommodations were great, the breakfast was wonderful and the hosts could not have been friendly or more accommodating. They made my stay in the Picton area a truly enjoyable experience.

- Paul, from Ottawa 25 June 2019

Gracious hospitality. A welcoming smile. A friendly "Bonjour" to accompany the delicious breakfast. A restful, quiet, tastefully appointed room. All this and more at Minister House B&B. One could not ask for anything more. Merci Helene LeBlanc!

- Dikran Islemeci, from Ontario,Canada 24 June 2019

- Lorraine, from Ottawa 24 June 2019

- Sylvie, from Montréal 30 May 2019

- Marie, from Lévis 22 May 2019

- Mélanie Brien, from Montréal 22 May 2019

- Renée, from Québec 21 May 2019

What a lovely place and host. Perfect location; an excellent experience. Very welcoming!

- Paul Williams, from Nepean 21 May 2019

We quite our enjoyed our stay at the Ministers House. There were four of us and we needed to check in a bit early for our PEC tour bus to pick us up. None of this was a problem for Helene. She was very accomodating. She gave us ideas for good restaurants within walking distance and directions as well. Both her and Alex were ver informative about the area and the history. Breakfast was amazing and was very filling! Nothing was a problem here. I highly reccomomend this B and B. The beautiful fall leaves in the yard and on the front steps were an added bonus!

- Ann Mittag, from Courtice 2 November 2018

- Evelyne Bruneau, from Orleans 24 October 2018

We had a warm welcome from Hélène, and a truly wonderful stay at the Minister's House B&B and would highly recommend it. The house is very charming, exceptionally clean and in a perfect location - very close to the action on a parallel street to the busy Main Street, but just away from the busy traffic and noise of it. The beds were heavenly (I had an amazing sleep!) and Hélène's abundant full breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back! Merci beaucoup, Hélène!

- Josephine, from Toronto 24 October 2018

My room overlooking the quiet historic street was lovely. My hostess provided hospitality at every turn. The historic house is well maintained and located a short walk to town. As the light filtered through the yellow and orange autumn leaves this morning, I truly regretted having to leave and wished I could have stayed longer. My breakfast was superb. With thanks to my hostess.

- Johanna Selles, from Toronto 23 October 2018

We had a very enjoyable weekend at at the Minster's house. Room was very quiet and comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. We especially found Helene to be very congenial and accomodating. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

- andy and anne marie, from otttawa 22 October 2018

- Diane Gendron, from Longueuil 18 October 2018

- Bernadette Périer, from 63130 Royat France 13 October 2018

The Minister's House was warm, welcoming, and very comfortable! The Trillium room was very clean, and the bed more comfortable than ours at home. It's just a moments walk from Picton's main strip. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would certainly do so again when visiting PEC!

- Chris & Lauren, from Toronto 10 October 2018

A lovely home and a perfect location. Many thanks to Helene for her warmth and hospitality!

- Lesley, from Ontario 2 October 2018

Our stay at the Ministers house was lovely, Helene is a great hostess, very helpful with info on the area and what to do. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Our stay was topped off with a delicious breakfast. We would recommend this B&B and if in the area would most definitely stay here again!

- G. Curiel, from Stoney Creek, Ontario 1 October 2018

We had a nice stay at Minister's House B&B during our Roadtrip through Ontario. The accommodation is lovingly furnished and you feel really good. The breakfast was delicious and took us through the day. Helene is a very friendly person and has given us good tips for Prince Edward County and later Toronto. I would recommend the B B to anyone looking for a nice spot in Picton.

- Anna-Lena, from Black Forest, Germany 23 September 2018

- Alain Cadieux, from Montréal 18 September 2018

Our stay at the Ministers House was most satisfying. The house is a lovingly maintained older home but with every modern amenity. It is also in an ideal location on a quiet residential street but just a short block away from the restaurants and shops on Picton's Main Street. Helene's gracious personality and high energy level are perfectly suited to her new endeavour. We wish her the best.

- Lynne Hoover, from Ottawa, Ont. 16 September 2018

We would fully recommend The Minister's House B&B. A kind, lovely hostess, very comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast in a B&B just steps from the main street in Picton.

- Frances Baird, 14 September 2018

Very nice location, very friendly host and a quiet nights sleep. All you could ask for.

- Dave, from Ottawa 13 September 2018

After a long, long day of driving, it was so nice to have a clean, quiet and beautiful place to rest. Helene was so welcoming and responsive to questions about the local restaurants and surrounding area. Will definitely stay here again!

- N Simpson, from Ontario, Canada 11 September 2018

- Anne et Thomas, from Kingston (ON) 10 September 2018

- Gabriela, from Montréal 5 September 2018

- Sylvie Cloutier et Gilles Troie, from Drummondville, Quebec 3 September 2018

- Réjeanne, from Québec 31 August 2018

- Christiane, from Saint-Ephrem-de-Beauce 28 August 2018

Helene is a fabulous host and cook. The home is beautifully located among other Victorian homes in a safe quiet neighbourhood close to shopping and restaurants The Minister's B&B is super clean, with lots of antiques, beautiful linens and other homey touches. We will definitely stay there again.

- Nancy & Floyd Sutherland, from Peterborough Ont 27 August 2018

Helene was a dream host. For years, we have been trying to find that “right place” to return to in PEC every year, and we’ve finally found it. The space is beautiful, the meals are incredible, the energy is positive and generous, and Helene is a remarkable and wonderful human to stay with! :)

- Zahra, from Toronto 27 August 2018

It was a wonderful place to stay. Places usually need a minimum of 2 night stay on weekend and Helene was able to accommodated our stay of 1 night. The house is beautiful and provided a feel of the period that it was built while having modern facilities. The breakfast was amazing along with the hospitality. Shops and restaurants a close walk. Definitely will recommend this B&B while in Picton.

- Virginia, from Kingston, Ontario 26 August 2018

- Jeanne Sylvestre, from Sainte-Adèle 24 August 2018

- Joanna et Marcel, from Rockland,Ontario 22 August 2018

- Sheri & John Phillips, from Pickering, Ontario 21 August 2018

We had a lovely experience at the Ministers house. The house has a very inviting atmosphere and is nicely decorated with period pieces and shabby chic decor. The location is perfect and within easy walking distance of Picton’s downtown. Helene, our hostess, is charming, attentive and an excellent cook. Breakfast was yummy. I would recommend this b&b highly to anyone looking for a cozy relaxed atmosphere.

- Judy Lindsey, from Toronto, Ontario 21 August 2018

Merci

- jeanne duguay, from québec canada 21 August 2018

My husband and I stayed at this historic home that was converted to a B& B. We were hosted by Helene, the proprietor who has boundless energy and smiles. The home was very clean, the beds were comfy and each room has access to a private bathroom. The home is located within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping in downtown Picton. The common area is furnished with period pieces and contains a communal fridge stocked with cold drinks and water for the guests. We were treated to a gourmet breakfast with lots of choices. Helene is willing to accommodate those with food allergies and/or special dietary needs. I would give this 5 out of 5 stars.

- Kevin Stromquist, from Picton, Ontarion 20 August 2018

Delicious, plentiful breakfast, very comfortable bed, delightful host, and a beautiful neighbourhood to wonder in and shops to visit! Truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommended!!!

- Leena Verk, from Kingston, Ontario 14 August 2018

My husband & I had a wonderful time with the lovely hostess, Helene. Her breakfast was delicious & plentiful. Our bed was very comfortable. Helene provided us with many suggestions for site visits. Looking forward to returning.

- Anna, from Woodbridge, ON 13 August 2018

We enjoyed our stay immensely at Minister’s House. Hélène is a lovely person, gracious with her guests, and very helpful. She served a huge and tasty breakfast – it was so filling, we didn’t eat again until dinner! The room was clean, and we had a private bathroom, although down the hall. As there is no air con, the room has a ceiling fan and another standing fan. Our room had windows on 2 adjoining walls, so there was also a cross breeze. The house is a charming old building, and the location is excellent. There is free parking on the street, although downtown Picton is only steps away. We look forward to staying again sometime in the future.

- Laurie, from Ottawa, Ontario 10 August 2018

- Jean-Sylvain Bourdelais, from Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Québéc 9 August 2018

Hélène was an extremely gracious host. The building is very well maintained, bright and clean. We were welcomed with our two young children, and Hélène was very good with the kids. For breakfast, we were served the best savoury crêpes we've ever eaten and our kids had delicious strawberry crêpes with iced cream. We plan to return and recommend this bed and breakfast to our friends and family.

- Bryce, from Ontario, Canada 6 August 2018

What a delightful stay we had at Minister's House thanks to Helene's extremely hospitable ways and mouth-watering culinary talents! The spa approach to bed and bathroom, the absolutely delicious, fresh breakfast and the caring hostess... you couldn't ask for more for a restful B&B stay. Highly recommended! And Picton is a gem... I know my husband and I are a bit late to that realization -- LOL

- Karen Robbins, from Toronto, Ontario 2 August 2018

Marie LeBlanc

This B&B is a charming historical property. The bedroom was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed and linens, and a bathroom with all the amenities. The common areas are bright and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is hearty and varied. Of course all this is made better by a very congenial host who is always ready to answer any questions.

- G. Sparrow, from Medellin, Colombia 26 July 2018

Helene’s house is such a lovely place to stay in the County, we are so lucky to have had a chance to spend the weekend there. It has so much character, and is in a great location in Picton with many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Helene made us a fabulous breakfast each morning and we really enjoyed our conversations with her and other guests in the house. I can only recommend her place enough and would certainly stay at her place when we are back in the County, hopefully very soon.

- Denis et Christiane, from Levis, QC, Canada 21 July 2018

We enjoyed our one-night stay at the Minister's House. Hélène, the proprietor, was hospitable, helpful, and flexible; and served an excellent breakfast.

The B&B is located in Picton, on a quiet street, a short walk to restaurants, galleries, and stores. Parking and the B&B was easy.

The building is beautiful inside and out. As the name of the B&B suggests, the building was formerly the residence of a church Minister.

- Anonymous, 11 July 2018

My husband and I enjoyed a lovely clean room with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent with really good coffee. Our host Helene was bright, upbeat and knowledgeable about the area. We would definitely recommend the Minister's House B&B to others.

- Aine and Warren, from Barrie, On 10 July 2018

Had a wonderful time in Picton - Helene & Alex's B&B good accommodation / super location - easy walking distance to main town and the list of restaurants proved a great success - we would never have found 'The Lake on the Mountain' Restaurant without. Helene was a great host - made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit.

- Nicola Austinsmith, from Milton, Ontario 5 July 2018

My husband and I had a wonderful time in PEC! Helene was an exceptional host. Her breakfast is delicious and the coffee is amazing! The B&B is beautiful and conveniently located in the heart of Picton. Walking distance to our personal favourite restaurants (Acoustic Grill and The County Canteen). Thanks Again Helene!

- Karen, from Toronto, ON 4 July 2018

- Françoise Boulanger, from L’Épiphanie 30 June 2018

- Françoise, 15 May 2018

Hélène and Alex are the gracious hosts of this elegant and very conveniently located B&B in downtown Picton. Tasteful furnishings and decor accentuate the spacious 19th century home, its many windows, high ceilings, winding staircase, gorgeous old wooden floors... I love windows and Minister’s House doesn’t disappoint. The warm, friendly atmosphere and hospitality made my weekend visit to Prince Edward County most memorable as it will yours, I’m sure. Arrive on a sunny day if you can!

- Allison, from Montreal, Quebec 8 May 2018

Congratulations Helene and Alex! What a beautiful B&B home, originally a minister's house and in such a beautiful area too. So happy for you and looking forward to booking my room this summer 2018 when I'll also be visiting my childhood home of Fergus, Ontario. Felicitations!!
