Julie and Glenn have a wonderful thing going, right down to the tiniest details. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were beyond our expectations. We had a lovely time at Julie and Glenn's Bed and Breakfast in Bobcaygeon. Their home is very charming, comfortable and clean. It's a home filled with character!! Our "Paris Room" was full of charm. Each morning when we awoke we spend much time admiring the beautiful tin ceiling that was so detailed! Breakfast was really yummy. Julie's omelete was really hardy and Glenn's homemade waffles were delicious. Julie and Glenn are friendly, easy to be around and relaxed. They are proud of their home and promote community. Love...love...love their front porch. Lovely place to sit and have coffee, conversations and to read a book. Lucy (their rescue dog) is the cutest, always willing for a quick belly rub. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house and great town. Would definitely recommend staying at their place. Thumbs up!!!

- D & D, from Ottawa 12 August 2019

Our early morning Breakfast was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you to Julie & Glenn for a wonderful stay at Rippling Waters.

- Tina & Paul, from Caledon 12 August 2019

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Rippling Waters. James was playing the recording of your clock to Eve last week and showing her the photos of Lucy. She looked very pensive while she remembered it all and then gave us a big smile and repeated over and over ‘Tick, tock, tick, tock!’ She had such a fabulous time at your lovely home, she wasn’t at all strange as she can sometimes be with new people. In fact you made us all feel perfectly at home and managed to turn a potentially stressful wedding-week into a relaxing oasis of calm. It can’t have been easy having four adults and a two-year-old take over your house for the week but you were extremely kind and welcoming. Finding a cot for Eve to sleep in before we even arrived was the start of many kindnesses. Thank you so very much for babysitting Eve while we were at the wedding, also for Glenn giving Pat a lift to pick up the car. Your very kind offers of help were over and above what we would have expected and very much appreciated. I would also like to say a personal thank you for your delicious home baking and being so considerate about my non-dairy diet! It was an absolute delight staying with you and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you most highly.

Thanks again Julie and Glenn (and Lucy) for a happy and memorable visit to Bobcaygeon.

With very best wishes xxx

- Fiona, Pat, James, Helen & Eve, from Dubai & Scotland 7 August 2019

“A beautiful house owned by beautiful people in a beautiful little town. Sit by the waterfront and enjoy the peace and quiet or kayak down the river. Have a short stroll into town where there is a great choice of pubs and eating places but you must try the fish and chips at 'For The Halibut'. Browse the gift shops and clothes shops then stroll back to Rippling Waters and enjoy a drink on the front porch overlooking the water. Thank you to Julie and Glenn and their beautiful fur baby Lucy for sharing their beautiful home with us.”

- Linda & Keith, from United Kingdom 7 August 2019

This place is amazing. Julie and Glenn are the best hosts and so friendly. Lucy is the sweetest little fur baby. Their house is gorgeous and spotless. Their waterfront and amenities are second to none. We are so appreciative to have stayed here and will definitely be back. I could go on and on. All I will say is this place is paradise and we look forward to our return. Big thank you!”

- Jade, from Mississauga, Ontario 6 August 2019

- Alan, from Toronto, Ontario 6 August 2019

Beautiful B&B! This home is beautiful, and Julie & Glenn were so accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks and breakfast, and the bedroom/bathroom were gorgeous. Bobcaygeon is a lovely town to walk around in, too, and we always go for supper and a play at the Globus Theatre. We will definitely be back!

- Jean and Dale, from Ottawa, Ontario 6 August 2019

“Super hosts! Based on the pictures I thought this was going to be a great BnB but my expectations were exceeded! The building is gorgeous, great view of the water, clean and stylish bedrooms. Breakfast was great as well. Take advantage of their kayaks and enjoy a casual cruise through the currents. Highly recommend! Thank you for the great stay! We will definitely be back! Cheers.”

Stayed 2 nights at Rippling Waters. We had an amazing time. The house is gorgeous and the location is great. It was lovely sitting on the outside porch relaxing looking at tranquil river. Julie and Glen were wonderful hosts. The morning breakfasts were delicious. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. I would highly recommend staying here.

- Laurie, from Toronto, Ontario 31 July 2019

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this charming B&B. The location and setting is wonderful, very peaceful and picturesque. Glenn and Julie are gracious hosts. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. Looking forward to staying with them next summer too!

- Kim, from Ontario 31 July 2019

Let me start by saying this B&B is a 5 star accommodation. We were warmly welcomed by Julie and Glenn Williams. We showed up last minute looking for a place to stay after being thoroughly disappointment with the original accommodations at another B$B which we refused to stay at once going inside. Our room at the Rippling Waters was charming and clean with our own private washroom. Fresh towels and linen that smelled amazing. The view of the water was gorgeous with a lovely place to sit and relax. We were served a beautiful breakfast in the morning and were made welcome our whole stay. We enjoyed our one night so much that we were lucky enough to have the room available to us for another night. They are a 5 min walk into town. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. I have plans to go back in the fall

- Christel, from Keswick Ontario 31 July 2019

A friend and I stayed at Julie and Glen’s lovingly restored B&B July 12/13 in Bobcayeon. The hosts are friendly, helpful and relaxed which made our stay very pleasant. The interior is beautifully decorated and the rooms were very comfortable. We stayed in the Paris and London rooms. These rooms come with access to a fabulous, large, and modern bathroom with a jetted tub – such a treat! The breakfast was delicious and generous. The grounds/gardens of the B&B are also lovely and there is a very comfy porch. A dock with chairs and swimming is just across the street. My friend used the kayak they provide and Glen was helpful getting this all set up for use. A quick walk brings you to all the shopping and restaurants in Bobcaygeon. Glen and Julie also have a delightful dog which added to the enjoyment of our stay.

I would visit again if I was in the area and would highly recommend Rippling Waters B&B.

- Janet Newberry, from Toronto 23 July 2019

My wife Heather and I stayed at Rippling Waters for one night in July 2019, as we were performing a concert in town. Glenn and Julie were quick to respond to by email and telephone, and made the booking process very easy.

Check-in was a breeze, and what a beautiful place in great location close to downtown Bobcaygeon with a view of the water! Historic home that has been well looked after, great decor, gorgeous room, and our room came with a private bathroom with a stand up show and jacuzzi tub. Fantastic. There was also a night sitting room upstairs, and the view from both upstairs and the porch was perfect.

I'm vegan and my wife is gluten free. They accommodated our diets no problem, and the breakfast was delicious. We had coffee on the porch with our hosts, then a great meal.

Glenn & Julie are wonderful people and great hosts, highly recommended!

- Matt & Heather, from Mississauga, Ontario 23 July 2019

“Julie’s place is a beautiful century home with a view of the water from the front porch, where we enjoyed our morning coffee. - Sheila, from Niagara Falls 10 July 2019

“Rippling Waters is a beautiful Victorian home within an easy walk of downtown Bobcaygeon and the locks. We found our room very spacious, comfortable and inviting. It was relaxing to sit on the front porch and look out at the water. Our visit was very short so we're not able to enjoy the waterfront area across the street. Julie is a very gracious and friendly host. We definitely hope to visit again!”

- Ruth and Wayne, from Listowell 4 July 2019

We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality. You made us feel very welcome, like we were at our own home. Thanks a bunch . Was my first experience at an Airbnb not sure if anyone else will be able to top how kind you were, to the wonderful breakfast to letting us know the history on your wonderful home! We look forward to coming back next year! We definitely want to make this a yearly trip

- Patty & Tony, from Toronto, Ontario 4 July 2019

Your home is lovely and impeccably clean. The bed in the Paris room allowed us a wonderful sleep. Breakfast was perfect and I'm so glad Lucy enjoyed Elans moisturiser. I'll definitely recommend your establishment to all our friends. Have a great summer, we will see you again I'm sure!

- Ross and Elan, from Toronto, Ontario 25 June 2019

My daughter and I stayed at Rippling Waters for one night June 21-22. I’m planning a return visit with my husband later this summer. Julie and Glenn are lovely hosts- very friendly and easy going. The accommodations are beautiful. Three rooms in the upstairs of a beautifully restored Victorian home. Each bedroom is tastefully appointed- gorgeous bedding, pristine and clean, extras like a small bar fridge, water, wine glasses etc. . The rooms were private and quite separate from the hosts. Breakfast was delicious, seasonal and fresh. Their adorable little dog Lucy was the highlight. Cute and friendly (only if invited) and well behaved small dog who didn’t seem to know how to bark! I will be returning. Thank you Julie and Glenn.

- Jennifer and Jessica, from Norwich, Ontario 24 June 2019

A wonderful place to stay! Great location close to everything. Breakfast was fabulous. Julie and Glenn were so helpful and made our stay amazing!”

- Brittany, from Hamilton 20 June 2019

The accommodation was very comfortable & attractive......I had the pretty room with the water view. The bathroom is luxurious, the sitting area upstairs perfect for card games and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast & Lucy.

You are great hosts & I especially enjoyed our conversations re the history of the house.

I attach a picture of my Great Uncle Tom Murphy's house on King Street. As you will see, it is beside the Baptist church & you will see the barn in the background. Mark went to Google Earth & it shows the house is gone & there is a small commercial building on the lot.

Once Anne downloads all her pictures, I will get the relatives straightened out and share any information that you might like to have.

Wonderful coincidence that we stayed at Rippling Waters.

Regards,

Betty

You will enjoy every minute of it!”

- Candice, from Toronto 14 May 2019

We could not have asked for more hospitable and gracious hosts. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home, and left feeling as fiends rather than just guests. Breakfast was a delight with freshly made lemon blueberry and cranberry orange loaves. We fell in love with the well kept Century home. It is beautifully kept with the right ambiance and decor befitting a stately home of its era. We have every intention of returning and recommending it to our family and friends.

- Paulette & Phillip Hall, from Newmarket 13 April 2019

Rippling Waters Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Bobcaygeon is a jewel in the Kawarthas. We stayed at Julie and Glenn's home for a couple of nights in September 2018. - Rick & Claudia, from Barrie, Ontario 12 October 2018

Very highly recommended! We had a wonderful experience at Rippling Waters B&B! Not only were Julie and Glenn gracious and generous hosts, they were very knowledgeable. Since it was our first time in Bobcaygeon, they provided us with great options on where to visit, shop and dine in the area. Rippling Waters was so close to the locks and downtown, we were able to take a romantic evening stroll to enjoy the beautiful sights and sunset. Rippling Waters was a charming, well-kept Victorian Home that was very inviting and welcoming – from the first step on the veranda to when it was time to say goodbye. We stayed in the Venice Room. The room and ensuite were very clean and tastefully decorated. Our bed was very comfortable and the linen smelled so fresh we have been trying to duplicate that freshness ever since without success. The timing of breakfast was flexible and the food was delicious and made with care. Thanks again, Julie, Glenn and little Lucy. (We wish our dog was as obedient and friendly as she was).

- Jenn & Phil, from Toronto, Ontario 11 October 2018

Immediate access to the waterway, 10 minute walk to downtown, very clean home with all amenities required for a perfect stay. Delightful hosts. Julie and Glenn, thank you for your hospitality. We needed some recommendations for dinner and you led us to the right spot! Your accommodating us to a perfect access point for the kayaks was unexpected, and we thank you for that. You have a lovely home, and our room was perfect for us. Thank you again, and I hope your decision to winter in Canada does not find you knee deep in snow! Best regards.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at the RW B&B with Julie, Glenn, and Lucy. They were very hospitable and listened to our needs in helping us organize our get away with places to see and where to eat. Their breakfasts were a tasty combination of Julie's touches and Glenn's home baking. The B&B's front porch was a tranquil place to put time in while looking at the water. It was an excellent B&B to stay at.

We stayed with Glenn and Julie for a second time August 10th and it was even better than the first time! We had our daughter with us this trip and she loved it every bit as much as we did. Glenn and Julie make you feel like you are friends, not just 'clients' or even 'guests' - words can't properly express how wonderful a visit with them is! We are already booking stays for next summer.

- Chris Koebel, from Ottawa 20 August 2018

We feel like we've made "Friends 4 Life" after meeting Julie & Glenn. The room was so beautiful and so neatly arranged that one could not HALP but have an EXCELLENT night's sleep! As for their personalities....you couldn't meet more "down-to-earth" people than Julie and Glenn. We had wonderful conversations with them and totally FELL IN LOVE with their sweet little Rescue Dog....Lucy! For me it was just what I needed, having to leave our European Golden Retriever, Aaron, behind with our friend overnight! Even though Lucy was a little dog, she had a HUGE personality, and I fell in love with her! I STRONGLY recommend staying with Glenn & Julie as I know you will be very welcomed and will love the accommodations as well as their DELICIOUS Breakfast before you head off. I got up at 7:30, and Glenn was kind enough to recommend a route for me to have my walk, as I was missing my walks with Aaron. I took several photos on my way back from my walk as it was something that I wanted to be able to look at in the future. THANK YOU, Julie & Glenn for making our overnight so beautiful! We truly do feel like we`ve made friend for life.

- Kent & Emily Ryckman, from Midhurst ON Canada 20 August 2018

Julie and Glen welcomed us into their amazing home and ensured we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. From the luxurious Paris room, comfy bathrobes, good conversation to amazing home-made waffles and some great canine company, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We highly recommend a paddle down Bobcaygeon river in kayaks graciously provided by the generous hosts. It's a great way to see the local wildlife and to check out the picturesque surroundings.

WE stayed at Glen and Julie's Rippling Waters Bed and Breakfast for a wedding on August 11, 2018. WOW!!! what a lovely home, very accommodating hosts and breakfast was delicious. Luck the dog was so well behaved and cute as a button. Julie and Glen were very informed about their beautiful little town of Bobcageon, which I wish we would have had more of an opportunity to spend a bit more time exploring. The lake front dock was a hidden bonus for us and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We will diffidently be returning. Glen and Julie were amazing people. Felt like we were visiting our family. Thank you again and again. xoxox

We had a wonderful time at Rippling Waters -it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. Our hosts Were fantastic!!!! and so were the accommodations - spotless and comfortable. We are definitely hoping to be back soon. There is lots of parking available and just a few minutes walk to restaurants and shops and of course the water. You couldn’t ask for anything more. Wonderful hosts and time!

Paradise found! Julie and Glen provide wonderful hospitality in a beautiful location (both their home, and the town of Bobcaygeon). With the water right out the front door it was a real joy to be able to swim and kayak, and then fall into the super comfortable bed in our room. Definitely a spot worth checking out for a stay in cottage country

- Chris and Janet, from Oakville, Ontario 13 August 2018

Great spot on the water. We came by boat and the dock was easy to find. Glenn and Julie are very friendly and helpful.

- Shayne, 12 August 2018

Our stay was lovely. The hosts are wonderful to talk with and enjoyed our time visiting on the porch. The rooms were very clean and breakfast was wonderful. We would definitely return here.

Dear Julie and Glenn,

Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful B and B with us. What a magnificent heritage home. I can see why you fell in love with it and all your hard labours show! We loved meeting you, staying with you and enjoying your front porch and waterfront. Both great bonuses. Your breakfasts were so yummy and I totally indulged as I rarely eat much breakfast at all. Needless to say lunch was not necessary during our stay. I will be trying Glenn’s tea breads soon and hoping they turn out as delicious as his were. So, I am back to my routine life now. Among other things, I am walking Rocco, babysitting and I worked at the hospital on Saturday in my casual position. I am wondering if Lucy is missing her extra pats on the head etc. I am attaching a picture of my two that my groomer took a few Christmases ago. Shasta, the one in doggie heaven is on the left and Rocco on the right. Best regards and thank you again for being great hosts.

Just a note to say how much we enjoyed staying at this B and B in August of 2018. The location was perfect, the amenities top notch, the bedrooms and bathrooms beautiful and comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the hosts so warm, casual and inviting. What else could guests possibly want or need?

My husband and I just had an amazing stay with Julie, Glenn and their sweetest dog Lucy. We were made to feel like part of the family. The house overlooks the channel and is a close walk to most of the town activities. The room we had was spacious and wonderful. The breakfast was extremely filling and tasty. I loved sitting out on the porch enjoying a cup of coffee or in the evening having our meal. We have already booked in for our next visit and going to recommend to everyone we know go to Bobcaygeon.

- Nikki, from Richmond Hill 7 August 2018

Julie and Glenn are superb hosts and two of the nicest folks you'll ever meet. Their home is in a perfect location overlooking the water. The house and the room I stayed in are absolutely beautiful and comfortable, and impeccably clean. In the morning, they graciously made a hearty vegetarian breakfast for me and set me up with a map of nearby cycling trails. If I'm back in Bobcaygeon I know I'm staying at Rippling Waters, and will recommend it to others too.

- Nathalie, from Toronto, Ontario 6 August 2018

It was a great stay with great hosts! The room was spacious, super clean and had all amenities and more! Amazing location and view of the water from the front of the house! So glad I was able to book with you, especially since it was last minute! Your place is unique and comfortable and completely clean. It was a great overnight. Breakfast was perfect! It was nice meeting both of you. Thanks, Shannon

July 17, 2018 We had a wonderful stay at the Rippling Waters B&B. The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and our bed was very comfortable. Our hosts Glenn and Julie made us feel at home the minute we arrived. Breakfasts were yummy and Julie used all fresh fruits and vegetables from the local farm. They were very informed on the history of the house and the town of Bobcaygeon and spent time relaxing on the lovely porch overlooking the lake. We wish Glenn and Julie all the best in the future.

- Trevor and Lenora, 4 August 2018

Ripping Waters is a great B&B if you are looking for a good night’s sleep followed by a delicious breakfast. Lovely on your own, or if you like to meet up with friends the second floor offers private space and amenities for late night visiting. Of course there is the ubiquitous spacious front porch for the same. Julie and Glenn are gracious hosts who make you feel welcome in their beautiful old home.

- Jim and Kim Denstedt, from Elmira, Ontario 2 August 2018

“A wonderful place to stay, with everything we needed. It’s close to the main attractions (including the water, with a private deck), clean, quiet, and breakfast was fantastic. Julie, Glen, and Lucy were very welcoming hosts. Couldn’t ask for better. ”

- Mike & Meghan, from London, Ontario 19 July 2018

We were met on the front porch and given towels to warm and dry ourselves with as we had arrived in a torrential downpour ..... by seadoo! Our stay was comfortable and memorable because of the wonderful hosts ( including Lucy) and their beautiful home! Don’t hesitate these are wonderful people Thank you for everything!

Amazing B&B! Julie and Glen were excellent hosts. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bobcaygeon for any length of stay. Can't wait to go back! Thanks again for a lovely stay

- Anonymous, from Toronto, Ontario 9 July 2018

First off, 5 stars don't do Julie and Glenn justice. They deserve more than that and I wish there was a way to denote how good our stay was. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Paris room and it was super comfortable with everything taken care of. We loved the decor and the comfort in the room and the bathroom. The amenities were exactly as advertised and we loved every minute of our stay. The breakfast was delicious and we got treated to Glenn's house special waffles. Glenn and Julie went above and beyond for a friend of ours who had a dodgy room in another inn and they gladly hosted him on short notice. We took full use of the dock in front of the house and it was one of the most blissful stays which we have had in a long time. You can't go wrong if you book and stay here. It'll be a great experience and you'll truly enjoy yourself! We know we did :)

Our weekend away in Bobcaygeon was perfect! Julie and Glen are amazing hosts, we loved our small chit chats, time well spent. Their home is beautiful and has all the amenities required for a perfect restful time away. Breakfast was great and exactly what our diet required. Next time I am looking to get away to Bobcaygeon I would be extremely grateful to find availability again at Rippling Waters.”

This was wonderful. Lots of privacy with your own bathroom (the Paris room has a fabulous soaker tub) and an upstairs guest sitting room. Delicious breakfast and lovely conversation. The dog, Lucy, is a delight. An easy walk to town and a private dock across the street.

Thanks Julie and Glenn, you were so accommodating letting us check in before the wedding to clean up after golf, and then making our allergy free breakfast! We will definitely come to visit again when we get the opportunity. Beautiful room, lovely spa bath, loved sitting on the dock at the water to have our lunch, and then sitting on your veranda with coffee this morning watching the world go by! Bobcaygeon is such a fun place to visit.”

“Julie and Glenn are truly super hosts. Their Victorian bed and breakfast is a one of a kind. Their home is extremely luxurious , super comfortable , top of the line bed with linens , beautiful ensuite and lots of privacy. We woke up each morning to the smell of homemade bread and cake. They treated us like royalty to a five course breakfast literally !! Their location is amazing in Bobcaygeon. The home has beautiful view of the lake just to sit and take in all the scenery a and unwind. It is so close to downtown that we didn’t need to drive anywhere for dinner with great restaurants and shopping in town. We went kayaking provided by our hosts and they gave us a quick lesson to ensure we did it right and had so much fun. We are so happy we picked Julie’s place and we would definitely go back in a heartbeat !! Thanks again from Rick and Nora. ”

Julie was a great host and the place was spectacular. The moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and laughter. The character space was beautiful and had everything we needed. The front porch was amazing and the dock was a perfect place to relax. Breakfast was out of this world. And the location can’t get any better. Would definitely come back

You guys are genuinely wonderful and it’s great to have been able to stay with you. Breakfast was truly stellar and the accommodations were excellent. It’s inspiring to see that you guys are so dedicated to the experience of the guest! Will definitely be back if I find myself in town again!

This B&B was wonderful for our little getaway - it is located with a view of the river and we took a nice walk to the little downtown every day. The friendly hosts prepared a wonderful breakfast every morning, and even had freshly baked cookies waiting when we arrived. We would stay here again

- Kyle, from Collingwood 6 May 2018

We stayed with Glenn and Julie for two nights the end of April 2018. We were immediately taken with the beauty of the home and the cleanliness. We stayed in the Paris room and found it to be bright and cheery and wonderfully comfortable.

The breakfasts were hearty and so tasty and filled with treats like fresh baked breads and home made jams.

Perhaps best of all was our hosts themselves - wonderful people who were so easy to talk to. They were very helpful and kind as well as full of information about the area. We would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

- Chris, from Ottawa 4 May 2018

We had a great time at Rippling Waters. We were warmly welcomed into a beautiful, well kept home. The bedroom was lovely & spacious, the bed was comfy and the view was spectacular. The breakfast also was incredible as were the cookies left in our room for us. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely go back.

This was the first time both my boyfriend and I were staying in a b&b and the experience was absolutely perfect. The house is gorgeous and makes you feel right at home and is in immaculate shape for a house with that many years and history to it. Julie and her husband are absolutely wonderful to converse with and are helpful in giving information about the town. They make you feel absolutely welcome as if they have known you for years and the food they serve is delicious as well as the coffee.

We spend two nights here and wish it could have been more. We stayed at many B&B's in the past but this one was the best one to date.Glenn and Julie are great hosts and the minute we met them we felt right at home. The room was great as was the home cooking and the home baked goodies. The view from the front porch was wonderful and sitting at the dock just across the street was peaceful and relaxing. Can't wait to return in the summer. Thanks again Glenn and Julie

- John and Paula, from Forest Ontario 2 November 2017

Our stay in Bobcaygeon at the Rippling Waters B & B was rewarding, and just what we needed for a brief Fall get-away. Julie and Glenn made us very comfortable in their lovely home, both in the attractively furnished, peaceful "Paris" room, and in our enjoyable chat with them over breakfast. Julie thoughtfully provided me with a tasty gluten-free banana bread with our delicious breakfast. She also gave advance information about Bobcaygeon restaurants, which was much appreciated. We would return without hesitation.

- Barb and Larry, from Bloomfield, Ontario 30 October 2017

Julie & Glenn were wonderful hosts during our one day and night stay. The French toast breakfast was very special as were our conversations. As guests, we had use of their kayaks with which we explored the Bobcaygeon waterfront. The magnificent and spacious historic house has been restored with attention to detail to approach its original grandeur. Great location with easy walking distance to the waterfront, and to downtown shopping and restaurants. Definitely a great choice for our mini-vacation.

- Brian, Yaneisi & Mario, from Keswick 23 October 2017

Julie and Glenn are the perfect hosts...made me feel so welcome and comfortable in their beautiful century old renovated house in a quiet setting. A very comfortable bed in a lovely room, lots of little amenities to add to my comfort and topped by a delicious breakfast. A perfect place to stay on my fall colour tour of the Kawarthas and I look forward to stopping by in the warmer weather to take out one of their kayaks

“Well located in walking distance from all parts of town. Great house, peaceful, well appointed and very comfortable.”

- Anonymous, from Lions Bay, British Columbia 5 October 2017

A beautiful home, gracious and hospitable hosts, a wonderful room, and a delicious breakfast. We booked because we were attending a wedding nearby - but we loved our stay enough that we'll be looking for an excuse to come back!

- Anonymous, from Toronto 3 October 2017

We stayed in September at Rippling Waters and loved it. Julie and Glenn were wonderful hosts and very accommodating.Since it was a hot weekend we decided to go on a kajak trip before breakfast and were not sure when we would be back but that also was not a problem. So after kajaking for 3 hours we enjoyed the great breakfast even more. Lovely old house and well renovated with much TLC. I would love to go back some time.

- Heike, from Kitchener 29 September 2017

My wife and I came to Bobcaygeon for a wedding and booked at Rippling Waters for the night. Julie and Glen were excellent hosts. There were homemade cookies for us when we returned in the evening. The breakfast was generous and very tasty, with fresh fruit, homemade banana bread and English muffins, to accompany the back bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. The home was beautiful and there was lots of space in the room, washroom, and upper level. There was a fridge stocked with refreshments and a coffee maker ready to go. We would definitely recommend staying with Julie and Glen. They are terrific hosts. Glen was even kind enough to drive us to our car in the morning! Thank you for the stay!

“Our visit to Julie and Glenn's beautiful B&B was completely delightful, and the highlight of our summer. Wonderful surprises began before we even got there, with Julie's invitation to arrive earlier than the stated check-in time. From the first view of their lovely historic house overlooking the river, we knew we had chosen the perfect place for our mini-getaway. So many happy surprises followed -- Glenn's homemade cookies to greet us; the amount of space to enjoy beyond the pretty and sizeable bedroom with its comfy queen-sized bed; water and coffee and mini-fridge; well-stocked bookcase and cozy reading area, and that river view. The bathroom was like a little spa. Breakfast was out of this world - so varied, generous, delicious and completely irresistible. Julie and Glenn are great cooks, and the rose from their garden and perfectly ripe tomato, also home-grown, were much appreciated. The scenic Bobcaygeon downtown was right around the corner. We borrowed our hosts' bikes and toured around town, then borrowed their kayaks for a great paddle along the riverbank. Julie and Glenn are natural hosts - friendly, fun, relaxed and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our conversations with them, and had ample time to ourselves, too. The only thing wrong with our visit was that it was too short. We'll just have to come back! I can't recommend Rippling Waters B&B enough. Thanks, Julie and Glenn!”

- Anonymous, from Toronto 13 September 2017

Accommodations were perfect with walking distance to the main street with shops and restaurants. Facing Big Bob Channel we had access to a private dock and got to use the kayaks that are included. Bikes are also offered to the guests. The bedroom and very large bathroom were all well furnished with modern amenities. The breakfasts in the morning were bountiful and so delicious. Freshly baked breads, fresh fruit and yogurt. And that's just the appetizer before the eggs and bacon. We would definitely want to return again next summer.

- Anonymous, 6 September 2017

Our stay at this place was fantastic! The house is big, elegant and clean. It is wonderfully decorated. Julie and Glenn are very kind and generous, they lend us their bicycles and kayaks. Check out time was flexible. Breakfast was really good and the jacuzzi was amazing. Highly recommended B&B.

- Anonymous, 4 September 2017

We stayed for two days and Julie and Glen were wonderful hosts. Their hospitality was more than we had expected. From being greeted with delicious homemade cookies (Glen gave me the recipe) to using their kayaks to sitting on their lovely porch to being served a yummy homemade breakfast, the stay could not have been more wonderful. Beyond the comforts and amenities, both Julie and Glen embody a genuine joie de vivre that makes conversing with them and being in their home a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for anyone who is thinking of staying in Bobcaygeon

- Anonymous, 4 September 2017

This is a beautiful B&B in a perfect location. Truly, the best thing about our experience at Rippling Waters was our hosts. Julie and Glen made us feel welcome and comfortable right away and were consistently available and accommodating. Together, they have created a lovely, cozy space perfect for relaxing, chatting, reading. They made their dock, kayaks, and bikes available to us for exploring the area. Their breakfasts were wonderful and homemade, right down to the breads. We highly recommend Rippling Waters and look forward to staying with Julie and Glen again.

- Anonymous, 4 September 2017

Julie and Glen are wondeful hosts! We were greeted upon arrival with a big smile from Julie and shown to our lovely, spacious room. Unfortunately we were unable to stay very long as we had a wedding to attend that night, but Julie and Glen were more than accommodating, going out of their way to try and help us find transportation and even supplying us with freshly made cookies for when we came back from the wedding!! The next morning Julie and Glen prepared an amazing breakfast that consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, English muffins, potatoes, bacon, quiche and more! We would highly recommend their place to stay as it was more than we were ever expecting. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy everything they had to offer. Thank you Julie and Glen for a wonderful stay

- Anonymous, 4 September 2017

Our stay with Julie and Glenn was wonderful! They really made us feel at home. They greeted us with home baked cookies and each morning we were fed a wonderful homemade breakfast. They lent us their bicycles and we enjoyed their kayaks on the river. We really enjoyed our stay with this lovely couple. We highly recommend this place in Bobcaygeon!

- Laurel Best, from Oakville 20 August 2017

We just spent our 50th Wedding Anniversary night at Rippling Waters and enjoyed our time here immensely. Glenn and Julie have a beautiful home and waterfront property that they have worked hard to restore. They went above and beyond to direct us to restaurants and the United Church in town, the bells of which we had heard (in the distance) earlier Sunday morning from Glenn and Julie's front veranda. Best of Luck Julie and Glenn as you continue to develop and share your 'place of dreams'.

- Margaret and Grant, from Wolfe Island, Ontario 31 July 2017

We had a very pleasant stay, the ambience was lovely and our hosts Julie and Glenn were very accommodating to our every needs. We will certainly come again when we are in this area. Terry and Maria, Preston, England. June 2017
