dot Magnolia North Bed and Breakfast
This was our first bed & breakfast experience in Canada, and it was an absolute delight! The house itself is steps away from water with a grand back yard, the house itself is very cozy and welcoming. There's plenty of room in the kitchen, dining area, living room and the bedrooms.

However the highlight is the atmosphere and the hosts. The house is kept very well and is furnished beautifully with the finest attention to detail you'd never get in a major hotel.

The hosts are incredibly welcoming and were very VERY flexible with our special requests and were such a pleasure to talk to when we checked in, during breakfast and even gave us "insider" tips on wineries and hotspots to check out, only known to the locals!

Breakfast was a 3 course meal which felt and tasted like a 5 star restaurant, but had the 'home cooked' feel that only your grandmother would match.

It's very clear the hosts enjoy hosting, and I would highly recommend staying at Magnolia!!!

We just finished a beautiful 2 day stay at Magnolia North. Donna and Glenn are fabulous hosts.

The properly is perfectly situated between the peacefulness of Prince Edward County and a quick drive to main attractions like Sandbanks or Picton.

The house is full of character and there is plenty of space to not feel cramped with other guests (I didn’t even know there were others guests until breakfast). We really enjoyed reading the book collections on WWII.

Glenn offers a great tour package that includes visiting local wine, brew and cideries (which is a must do if you like local farm to table experiences). He also adds a great extra touch by taking your picture through the tour, while also giving you plenty of space and time to enjoy each place.

Bring your morning appetite because Donna creates a three course meal that includes sweet and savoury indulgence. Everything was homemade and plated to be instagram worthy. We hope you get to try the carrot cake jam because it was amazing and should be bottled and sold.

Donna and Glenn have created a beautiful B.B. filled with charm and calm. You won’t regret this choice for a stay-cation.??

My sister and I stayed at Magnolia for one night and I will definitely go back for a longer stay next time with my husband. Glenn and Donna were the perfect hosts. Our room (Queen East) was super comfortable and pretty and the breakfast was to die for, sitting on the back deck with the birds, chipmunks, and Pippi and Raisin their two rescue dogs. A wonderful stay!!!

- Manon & Louise, from Ottawa & Montréal 21 August 2018

We just stayed at Magnolia North. I recommend it highly. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Glenn and Donna were warm, welcoming and very helpful. The birds were a delight to watch as many guests have already said.

- Mike and Karen, from Toronto 13 August 2018

Donna and Glenn are terrific hosts! They welcomed our family of 3 with smiles and warmth. Their property is beautifully maintained and is located in the lovely town of Milford. Glenn was very helpful recommending nice restaurants to visit and Donna did a beautiful job making breakfast and baking delicious pastries. Oh, and we loved their cute dogs. We will definitely stay here again!

- The Johnsons, from Thornhill 7 August 2018

Great hosts!! Great people! Fantastic hospitality. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. Amazing 3-course breakfast, gourmet selection! Donna is incredible!! We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast! Glenn also offers private wine tours and is a fountain of local knowledge.

- Carol-Anne Sloan, from Mount Forest, Ontario 5 August 2018

My partner and I stayed at Magnolia North for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay there. We appreciated the warm hospitality offered to us by Glenn and Donna. The rooms are so charming and the property is stunning. We spent both evenings sitting by the water listening to the frogs. Highly recommend!

- Avery, 2 August 2018

My boyfriend and I recently stayed with Glenn and Donna and cannot recommend this B and B enough! From the moment arrived they made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the grounds are so beautiful. The hot tub is a huge added bonus as we used it both nights! Glenn took us on a wine tour on the Saturday and we had such a great time. He was very accommodating to our tastes (my boyfriend prefers beer so we went to some breweries as well), and he even gave us a lift to and from dinner! He also took pictures of us throughout the day and emailed them as a keepsake. I have never seen hosts go so above and beyond! We had such a great time and will definitely be back. Thanks Glenn and Donna!

- Lucy Kohlhepp, from Toronto 30 July 2018

If you want a relaxing location with beautiful views and hosts who spoil you by pampering you with chocolate, wine and the most amazing breakfasts, look no further then Magnolia North...and the hot tub is also very inviting!

My sister and I stayed at Magnolia North B&B overnight while visiting Prince Edward County. We couldn't have picked a better spot! Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms, to the gourmet breakfast and peaceful setting. The property extends right to the Black River, where you can sit comfortably and read or watch the many species of birds that visit. We were delighted to see Baltimore Orioles, Blue Jays, Red-winged Blackbirds and Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Glen and Donna are wonderful hosts and gave us excellent tips on restaurants to visit and sights to see in the area. I will definitely be back!

- Anonymous, 20 July 2018

Great place ,best breakfast ever. Relaxing, peaceful surrounding's

- Roger and Theresa, 20 July 2018

I had a great B&B experience at Magnolia North last Friday. Since the moment I called to find out if it was possible to book for only one night, Glenn was diligent and very kind in accommodating my stay. I only stayed for one night but it was wonderful! The room as well as the washrooms very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was a bounty of delicious choices, from a fresh homemade muffin to eggs, sausage and toast and Greek yogurt with fresh fruit and granola. A small fridge just outside the bedroom with water and sodas along with chocolate and a bottle of wine made my arrival a promising one. I will definitely come back again and this time not alone LOL! Thank you Glenn and Donna for the perfect B&B experience.

- Anna Ossott, from Oakville ON 17 July 2018

Our stay here was excellent. We were the only guests which makde it that much better. The added touches were very nice, from the wine and chocolate to the three course breakfast. The hosts Donna and Glenn were very nice, and the back property was quiet with a great view and was a fine place for breakfast, along with the birds and animals.

- Larry Chown, from Ottawa, ON 29 June 2018

We had wonderful stay at Magnolia north B&B. Thank you Glen & Donna for making us feel so welcomed. Your attention to detail was greatly appreciated. It really felt like home way from home. Hope to see you soon.

Thank you. Alexandra and Valentina

- Valentina, from Whitby, Ontario 10 June 2018

We visited Magnolia for 1 night and had an awesome experience. Glenn and Donna were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. Their home is beautifully located on a river and very close to wineries and dining. It is very comfortable and spacious. Glenn took us on a tour of the wineries, breweries for a small fee and then drove us to our dinner. The breakfast was exceptional. We will not hesitate to recommend this awesome Bed and Breakfast!

- Anna and Philippe, from Maple, Ontario 28 May 2018

We stayed with Glen and Donna to do a wine tour in the area with our closest friends and we had an awesome time! The B&B accommodations are lovely. The property goes all the way to the riverfront, and you can take a swing in the old oak tree, watch the birds and smell the flowers. Glen and Donna made us feel right at home with their hospitality. They welcomed us with goodies in the room, plenty of water, and towels and robes. They encouraged us to use the property to the fullest extend including the use of their hot tub...... and the breakfast was out of this world! Unfortunately my husband now expects this kind of service at home hahaha We spent a lot of time with Glen because we were actually able to hire him as a guide for our wine tour. He is a really nice man and knows all the best spots to go and try the area's wine and delicacies. He let us do our thing freely and even took pictures for us that he sent to us via email. This was such a great visit to the area and 5 star service! Next time we will have to stay longer.

- Juliane, from Haliburton, Canada 28 May 2018

Could not have asked for a better weekend. The house was beautiful, incredibly clean, lots of space, and conveniently located. Our two hosts were incredibly hospitable and helpful. They not only made our stay comfortable, but helped point us in the right direction when it came to planning our weekend, whether it was deciding what activities to do, where to make dinner reservations, etc... Breakfast each morning was superb and the backyard was a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Would highly recommend a stay at this great BnB!

- Andrew, 24 May 2018

Never met such hospitable people! Donna and Glenn were awesome and very helpful! Rooms were very clean and cute! Breakfast was definetely a highlight! We will definetely go back!

- Anonymous, 22 May 2018

Nice setting in a very tranquil part of Ontario. Great for a relaxing weekend. Glenn and Donna are fantastic hosts, breakfasts are top notch. You wont need lunch for sure.Glenn has lots of tips for local restaurants, wineries and cheese factories in the area.Be aware local restaurants fill up quickly on weekends, so plan on a reservation.Shared washroom for showers can be tricky when all 3 bedrooms are full. They have 2 rescue dogs which is a bonus if you love animals as we do. Would definitely stay again

- Peter Boyle, from Toronto,Ontario 22 May 2018

This was such an outstanding stay!! Glenn and Donna were fantastic hosts, the breakfasts were amazing, a delicious filling start to every day! The rooms were very clean and beautiful decor! The view out the back was outstanding, we saw three types of woodpeckers alone! I will be going back, no question.

- Shane & Sue Hartwell, from Kendal, Ontario 29 April 2018

Well Lori Armstrong and I have never done a bed and breakfast until this weekend. We headed out to prince Edward County to Magnolia North B&B. All I can say is wow. Our host Glenn Hyde and Donna Kearns were absolutely beyond amazing. I could fill a book with kudos!!! The property is gorgeous, their home is huge and spacious, rooms are as clean as a whistle and big and comfy. Their attention to detail was and is fabulous. It’s a comfy, warm and welcoming home away from home. Their hospitality is so genuine. The food, I can’t say enough, Donna is a talented baker and chef!!! 3 course breakfast, all freshly made, using local ingredients, Sitting in a wonderful sun room with a beautiful fall view, was just awesome. We had a wonderful time exploring wineries, cheese shops etc. all guided by Glenn. Can’t forget Hot tub under the stars as well. I would say a true 5 star get away. If you are looking for something special I highly recommend magnolia north, no disappointments here. True getaway and full value for your dollar. Well worth a trip out for a night or two. Lots to do in the area, lots to drink and eat as well. (After Donna’s breakfast you won’t need to eat till dinner ??)looking for that something different or romantic getaway........try them out. We found a little gem in eastern Ontario. Oh and Home made cookies packaged for our ride home Thanks again Donna and Glenn.......you bet we will be back????????

- Andy Armstrong., from Oshawa Ontario Canada 23 October 2017

This is a beautiful place to stay. Nice location for peace and quiet in the countryside but close enough to get to the local pubs, wineries and restaurants. Donna and Glen were excellent hosts. They provided some good advice on places to eat and visit and the breakfast was incredible! A nice rural property with a touch of southern charm! We already have our reservation in for next year!

- Anonymous, 9 October 2017

It was our third time at this lovely BnB. Two very charming hosts, you always feel welcome and comfortable. A most do again .....soon. XX

- Elfi Krohn, from Bowmanville, On 7 October 2017

Magnificent!! My best friend and I had a two day "get away" at this B&B and to say it was glorious would be an understatement. The grounds are spectacular and hosts Glen and Donna went beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable. Donna, I'm sure is a master chef, the breakfasts were like works of art and tasted better than any five star restaurant! Glen was such an asset getting us around the area and having a personal tour guide was a fantastic added bonus!! Now that I'm back home I'll be sure to spread the news all around the east coast of where to stay when in Prince County, Ontario. Bravo Glen & Donna!

- Kim & Debbie, from Halifax, NS & Buckhorn, ON 29 September 2017

Nice and comfortable big house owned by friendly hosts. The breakfast are delicious, and deserve a five forks mention to Donna. We wish them good succes.

From the moment we arrived, you made us feel right at home. We are appreciative of the warmth and comforts of your home which made our stay even more welcoming. Your culinary skills are excellent and we are still talking about the decadent breakfast you served us in a serene nature setting.

With gratitude

- marlina oliveira, from Toronto 19 September 2017

We had a fabulous FLY-IN experience to the Magnolia North Bed and Breakfast in Prince Edward County. Glenn Hyde, owner of the B&B is also an aviation enthusiast and offers a very unique package above catering to regular B&B patrons.

We flew from Ottawa to Picton and Glenn picked us up and brought us to his lovely B&B where a lovely lunch was served up by Donna on their back patio that has a splendid view of their waterfront wooded lot - lots of beautiful birds to see.

After lunch, Glenn gave us a fabulous tour of the area and we experienced some wineries, breweries, cider and vinegar makers. In the evening, we were then driven to our choice of local restaurant. We were then picked up and brought back to the B&B where we enjoyed the stars and milky way on the back patio.

In the morning we enjoyed more great hospitality with a very tasty breakfast. Glenn then brought us back to our aircraft after checkout time.

We had a fabulous time and I would highly recommend this FLY-IN experience! Donna and Glenn are splendid!

- Daniel, from Ottawa, Canada 12 September 2017

Thank you Glenn & Donna for your wonderful hospitality! Breakfast & lunch were delicious - Donna is a great baker & cook! It was great to be able to fly in to Picton and have our own private chauffeur and tour guide for a wonderful day in Prince Edward County. Many great discoveries and new found friends. We will be back!

- Caroline, from Ottawa 11 September 2017

This was by far the most generous and gracious hosts I have ever stayed with. Thank-you so much Donna and Glenn.

Glenn was always prepared with a solution for our cycling in the PEC. He had a pump, water supply and maps. He made it so easy to navigate our way through the back country.

I highly recommend a stay with Glenn and Donna if you have an appetite for a great breakfast and love a pristine accommodation.

- Melissa putt, from Toronto 9 September 2017

A wonderful getaway! Hosts Donna and Glenn are very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the area, sharing info about restos, wineries, bike routes, as well as simple directions to enjoy the hot tub under the stars, glass of wine in hand! The grounds are lovely, peaceful and relaxing, making it easy to spend time being as lazy or busy as we needed! And the breakfast - wow! - delicious and abundant, served while we enjoyed the view out back - birds, and flowers abound. Great hosts, lovely accommodations and beautiful surroundings in a wonderful part of Ontario! Looking forward to a return visit!

- Allison, from Ottawa 1 September 2017

A charming spot - both the home and the grounds - with excellent hosts! Donna creates exceptional breakfasts. Glenn provided a very interesting wine tour. Love the two-bed room with the curtained bed!

- Anonymous, from Renfrew, Ontario 21 August 2017

We had a marvelous stay with Glen and Donna. Their place is all that you want in a Bed & Breakfast. Very clean, quiet, great food in abundance. Beautiful landscaping. Hosts extraordinaire. Will be going back.

- Joanne Seguin, from Plantagenet 16 August 2017

A beautiful property and comfortable homelike feel to Magnolia B&B. Donna and Glenn are gracious hosts who make you feel right at home. The Breakfast served on a lovely deck with a view of the river was amazing and plentiful . I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone.

- Gregory Doucette, from Halifax Nova Scotia 15 August 2017

Glenn and Donna were gracious hosts who were generous and helpful without being intrusive. The breakfasts were fantastic and the room was attractive and comfortable. There were nice touches like free chocolates, a mini-fridge full of water and soft drinks, and goodbye packages of cookies! A great place to stay. I would go back.

- Marie Gabe, from Ottawa 13 August 2017

Just arrived back home from a long weekend at Magnolia North Bed & Breakfast, and I couldn't wait to give a review!! First and foremost, Glenn and Donna are top class hosts. First, the welcome alone will make you feel like your home. They do a walk-thru with you, letting you know all the things available at the house. They have rescue dogs, that obviously shows you what heart of gold they both have. Just make sure you are hungry for breakfast, because after breakfast, you will barely want dinner, never mind lunch. Not only do they make a delicious big breakfast, they detail that goes into it, is like a 5 Star Restaurant.

The house is a perfect, Victorian style home, with everything you need for your stay. Make sure Glenn gives you the heads up on restaurants up there, as there are some that you should NOT go too!!

Loved the hot tub, the grounds are immaculate and the birds are beautiful. Everything is about 10 minutes away.

Thank you Glenn and Donna for making this the most beautiful experience!! You are both AAA.

Iscia, Mariette and Mandy

- Iscia Mcdonald, from Brampton 7 August 2017

My husband and I recently stayed at Magnolia North and really enjoyed the people who own it, the location, the comfortable bed and the excellent breakfast, Great place to stay in Prince Edward County.

- Katherine, from Ontario 27 July 2017

A little gem of a B&B. Glenn and Donna are some of the nicest people you will ever meet and will make your stay unforgettable! Beautiful garden with hummingbirds and fireflies, a wonderful hot water jacuzzi outside to watch the stars and a delicious homemade 3-course breakfast are some of the highlights. Glenn and Donna are the most attentive and helpful hosts helping you find the perfect pub or offering wine tasting tours. A little bit of paradise near beautiful beaches (20 min. drive)

- Jennifer K., from Montreal, Canada 25 June 2017

We cherish the 3 delicious days of the latter Victoria- weekend we lived at the Magnolia North B&B in Prince Edward County. Donna and Glenn's hospitality is proverbial. They made us feel very special. The breakfasts were real treats: from homemade cinnamon buns to omelette with goat cheese. An immaculate house at a fairy-tale location with large rooms and royal beds. Moreover, our knowledgeable hosts helped fill up our stay with wonderful experiences from daydreaming at the hot tub and riverfront property, to nature and bird-watching, local wineries and restaurants We'll recommend this place to all our folks.

- Guylaine et Ned, from Montréal 23 May 2017

Heartfelt thanks for an unforgettable stay, delicious treats, and other heart-winning differences... A delicious memory to miss until we come back!

A paradise corner - complete with Donna & Glenn - its guardian angels!

- Guy & Neddie, from Quebec 23 May 2017

We recently spent 2 nights at Donna and Glenn's wonderful B&B a part of our PEC visit. Their hospitality was wonderful. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic - completely different each day. They are very knowledgable with respect to PEC and can give recommendations on sights and restaurants in the area. They make you feel very welcome and invite you to take advantage of their wonderful riverfront property - great if you like birds and nature. We'd recommend Glenn and Donna's place to anyone.

- Peter & Vicki, from Toronto, Canada 23 October 2016

Just spent a fabulous night at the Magnolia North B&B in Prince Edward County. Donna and Glenn really know how to make you feel special. The breakfast was plentiful and so delicious, not a detail missed, from the coffee and homemade cinnamon buns to the main course of eggs/asparagus/goat cheese to the sausage and home fries. Loved the location, the house is immaculate and the rooms are large. If you are going to the Prince Edward County, don’t miss staying at this gem.

- James and Laurie, 23 October 2016

My wife & I came out to Prince Edward County for an anniversary weekend, and consider ourselves lucky to have landed at Glenn & Donna's B&B. They were ready and welcoming as soon as we arrived; the house in general and our room in particular was lovely; the grounds were beautiful; and the food (especially Donna's baking!) was delicious. Glenn was extremely helpful directing us to local highlights as well. Highly recommend-- both Magnolia North, as well as Prince Edward County in the Fall.

- Anonymous, from Toronto, Ontario 16 October 2016

We enjoyed the quiet countryside location in Milford, ON. Our room and accommodations were immaculate, welcoming and so comfortable. Glenn and Donna were very gracious hosts and eager to share their knowledge of the Prince Edward County that would be of interest to us.They were generous to offer "tasting cards" and to assist us in any way that they could. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. The necessities and the thoughtful extras were readily available. As our first experience at a B & B ~ Glenn and Donna you have "set the bar high!" We plan to visit again! With many thanks, Jenn and Rob

- Jenn and Rob, from Keswick, ON 4 October 2016

What a wonderful experience, the lovely location, great host and this special touch of Lindor chocolates and cookies. The breakfast was the best we ever had. We will make sure to visit again!

- Georg & Elfi, from Hampton , Ontario 28 September 2016

We recently visited Prince Edward County and stayed at Magnolia B&Bs. Glenn and Donna are wonderful hosts. The place is immaculate and the breakfast was to die for. Must visit!!!

- Kate Kozikowski, 19 September 2016

We stayed one night in the King Room, and highly recommend this B&B. The rooms and bathrooms were immaculate and very comfortable, the breakfast was sumptuous and our host and hostess were ever so gracious.

- Anonymous, 4 September 2016

Our two night stay at Magnolia North was full of delights and we could not have had 5 more gracious hosts than Glenn, Donna and their three rescue pooches. The breakfasts were large (no lunch needed!) and delicious -- fine examples of Donna's family bakery roots. The grounds are extensive and the variety of birds on display as we ate breakfast was pretty amazing for someone who lives in the heart of Toronto. Magnolia North is rural, it's quiet, but is only about 10K outside Picton. We also took advantage of its proximity to both the Black River Cheese Factory and the Waupoos Estate Winery and Gazebo Restaurant.

- Ann and Leone, from Toronto 1 September 2016

The girlfriend and I had a great stay with Glenn and Donna. They have a very nice house on a great piece of land. They're both knowledgeable of the surrounding area and were very helpful with any questions we had - whether it was where to eat or what to do. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was awesome. We will definitely stay with them again.

- Dylan, from Brampton 29 August 2016

Hosts Donna and Glenn are wonderful. The breakfast on the deck was outstanding with a bevy of birds to watch feeding. We spent a peaceful hour resting on the hammock in the yard. The accomodations were very nice too. mIt's a little off the beaten track, which had both its benefits and drawbacks- very quiet but not much to walk too. The Waupoos winery was an easy drive though and had a lovely dining room. The Cider House a little further up the road was great for lunch.

- Anonymous, 29 August 2016

Excellent in all ways.

- Anonymous, 29 August 2016

We had a lovely stay at Magnolia North. Glenn and Donna are very gracious hosts and their B&B is beautiful. They were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful (in fact, more than we could eat). This was our 40th anniversary and Donna made us a special treat in celebration. We will definitely return on our next visit to Prince Edward County.

- Archie and Marilyn, from Wakefield, QC 26 August 2016

We had an amazing experience at Magnolia North. The owners truly want their guests to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. They go above and beyond to make sure that their guests are comfortable. They serve incredible 3 course breakfast featuring home baking, fresh fruit and local ingredients. We were always full and looking forward to the next morning's feast! The country property is relaxing and hammocks and Muskoka chairs are available to use by the Black River and under the trees. We would definitely stay here again!

- Anonymous, from Woodstock, Ontario 21 August 2016

Glen and Donna were great hosts! We were frantically looking for accommodation during the busy summer months a week before our departure date. We called numerous B&Bs and were mostly greeted with short yes/no answers. Glenn was an exception. He was very friendly on the phone and provided us with a lot of information when he found out it was our first time to PEC. His friendly phone manner was what persuaded us to stay with them.

We had requested for early check in, which Glenn had said he will try. On the day of, Glenn was very nice to give us a call to let us know that our room was ready for early check in if we needed. It was very much appreciated.

Upon arrival, Glenn came outside to greet us and offered to help with our luggage. The house itself was very nice and clean. He had previously mentioned that they have 3 rescued dogs and they were all very cute and well behaved. We went upstairs to our room and to our surprise, we were greeted with a martini glass filled with Lindt chocolate, our favorites!

Our entire stay was filled with these pleasant little touches which made our stay extra comfortable and extra memorable. These include the wonderful homemade ice cream sandwiches by Donna, the exquisite gourmet breakfast, the nice relaxing 2 acres of backyard with hammock and swing chair, and the bird watching right on the patio. We will definitely return when the hot tube and deck is completed. And maybe tvs in the rooms would be nice too! Thanks Glenn and Donna, for a wonderful stay and our first experience of PEC!

- Jessica & Steve, from Toronto 20 August 2016

Without a doubt probably the BEST BREAKFAST we have ever had in any hotel or B&B. The property was wonderful and well kept. In the evening we sat out under the stars by the black river, and the rooms were clean and well kept.

- Pat, from Brampton 16 August 2016

Glenn and Donna made our first experience in a Bed & Breakfast very enjoyable and memorable – with exceptional service, delicious breakfasts (including amazing homemade baked goods) and great attention to detail. The grounds are very well maintained and include a beautiful serene spot by the river.

Glenna and Donna are very pleasant and great hosts. They went above and beyond by offering to babysit our three-month old son, allowing Mommy and Daddy to enjoy a nice dinner out in the County.

We would not hesitate to refer friends and family to stay at this B&B, and are already contemplating our next stay!

- Patrick, Alexandria & Freddy, 16 August 2016

Meeting Donna & Glenn at Magnolia North B & B was such a pleasure as we were greeted warmly as friends and treated as guests. We were so well cared for at every turn. Our room with king-size bed was tastefully decorated and we napped upon arrival in solid comfort. The house is spacious and lends itself to the making guests feel at home. Breakfast was scrumptious but required one to take a long walk afterwards. We will definitely be returning to enjoy the generous hospitality extended to us by Glenn & Donna at Magnolia North.

- Colleen & Brian Kerr, from Ottawa, ON 10 August 2016

This lovely B&B is located near Picton in beautiful Prince Edward County, home to so many attractions...wineries and wine tasting, cheese outlets, beaches (e.g., Sandbanks), antique and artistic activities in Bloomfield and Wellington, the theatrical and shopping available in historic Picton, and the ever present lure of the waters and vistas of Lake Ontario. Our hosts Glenn and Donna made us welcome from the moment we arrived, with an offer by Glenn to carry our bags to our room. We took in a lot of local colour at the Waupoos Pub which is no more than a few km from the B&B. Check out the half-price wings on Wednesdays. We spent a peaceful night in a part of the world that is pitch-black and supremely quiet. Tip: walk outside, as we did, on a clear night to gaze at the Milky Way. Woke up refreshed to enjoy a breakfast feast to die for. Donna did wonders with scrambled eggs and red peppers. We met a charming couple from Montreal on the deck out back and enjoyed the visiting blue jays as they swooped in for Glenn's bird snacks. We were sent on our way with a supply of cookies, muffins, and chocolate treats as well as an exchange of Kodak moments with our cameras. Be sure to ask Glenn or Donna why they named their B&B Magnolia North!!

- Richard & Elizabeth, from Waterloo 10 August 2016

Hosts Glen and Donna were overly generous with their hospitality but that might be because they have only been operational for 3 months, lol! Donna's southern cooking is superb and Glen's knowledge of the area is outstanding. I highly recommend Magnolia North to everyone visiting the County!

- Bernadette McClenaghan, from Guelph, ON 8 August 2016

This was my first time at a bed and breakfast, and I really enjoyed our stay with our hosts. The place is a beautiful home it was very clean, the food was great, and these folks pay a lot of attention to detail. I highly recommend this place.

- Donald Gordon, from Ottawa, Ontario 8 August 2016

Donna and Glen's warm greetings set the tone for our two night stay. We were treated like long lost friends as soon as we arrived, which put us all at ease immediately. Their concern for our comfort was uppermost in Glen's mind as he assured us that their three rescue dogs might be a bit excited but they were truly harmless and very friendly. Donna and Glen's home is immaculate even with the three dogs. Our room was on the third floor but it was nicely air conditioned to our personal preference. The powder room on the third floor is shared with the room across the hall and the shower is on the second floor, which was not an issue for us. Breakfast was a wonderful culinary experience, as well as, a feast for the eyes. We were fortunate to enjoy breakfast on the deck overlooking the back yard with the hummingbirds, Baltimore Orioles, Red Wing Blackbirds, Morning Doves, etc. to watch and enjoy. Breakfast consisted of three courses, which included sconces, fruits, bacon, eggs, sausages, home fries, etc. of very generous portions. This is Donna and Glen's first year as B&B hosts but you would not know it - they are attentive, caring, generous and discreet.

A superb weekend, extremely friendly owners nothing was too much trouble for them, very clean accommodation with beautiful tranquil garden backing onto the Black river. The breakfast were excellent and very generous. Highly recommend it.

We stayed for 2 nights with Glenn and Donna at their impeccable B&B. A beautiful well maintained house with a very very comfy king size bed. The back yard by itself is worth the stay, with a variety of birds chanting and flying around or you can just relax by the river on the Adirondack chairs. Donna's food is succulent and abundant, we had a late breakfast and made it easily until dinner. They have dogs but hey are well behaved, it was our first time in PEC and Glenn was very helpful regarding things to do and see in the area.

Stayed 2 nights June 10th and 11th at this beautiful quiet pastoral B & B, backing on the Black River - the grounds are lovely. Donna and Glenn are welcoming hosts, their home is immaculate and they are attentive to every detail. Customer service is excellent and breakfast tasty and I have to emphasize - delicious baking. I will return!

We enjoyed our time at Magnolia North B&B. The hosts made us feel special. Our room was relaxing and comfortable. We had delicious three course breakfasts, a refreshing cocktail hour and a scrumptious parting gift. The property was the perfect country setting with birds feeding to entertain you.

We had a wonderful time at Magnolia North B&B! It reminded us of a beautiful private sanctuary by the lake. On the inside, it was wonderfully decorated and extremely clean. Aside from that, Donna and Glenn were amazing and hospitable people. They were kind, accommodating and great to chat with about things to do in the area. They offered us 'tasting cards' for wineries and lots of advice. They cooked a wonderful (& huge!) breakfast for us which we got to enjoy outside while taking in the stunning view. My boyfriend and I would definitely return if we revisit Prince Edward County.

We had a great weekend with Donna and Glen. They have a lovely home and are lovely people. This is a very high quality B&B with beautifully decorated rooms, amazing breakfasts and a picturesque back yard. They let us use their deck for our evening meals and there is a lake at the end of the garden with 4 Muskoka Chairs so you can hang out and relax in the beautiful countryside. We certainly plan to stay with them again as they were amazing hosts. Best B&B we have stayed in! Thank you Glenn and Donna.
