Great B & B ! Des gens accueillants, chaleureux et qui répondent à nos questions. Nous y avons couché trois soirs; c’est très propre; les déjeuners étaient tous différents et délicieux. Nous y retournerons..!

Brian and Shelly are very friendly and down to earth people and easy to converse with. Shelly has always offered us an evening tea and cookies or banana bread. Of course Shelly's breakfast along with the other choices will leave you totally satisfied. If you leave the breakfast table hungry, it is your own fault. Thank You Shelly.

My husband & I recently stayed at The Stuart House B & B. We were quite impressed. The owners, Shelly & Brian, were great hosts. They were both very friendly and helpful. After she heard our plans, Shelly took the time to email suggestions to us. There was a large, very nice sitting room for the guests. We had a lovely room with an ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I can't say enough good things about this B & B. We would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at Stuart House several times and each visit has been so enjoyable, from the comfortble, immaculately clean rooms to the decadent (but wholesome) breakfasts, that we now try to think of excuses to return - if only for one night. Very hospitable and welcoming hosts - we will be back.

My husband and I along with my brother and sister in law spent a night there in July. Brian and Shelly are a wonderful couple. Made us so comfortable and served a wonderful hot breakfast. Rooms and washrooms are spotless. We will definitely stay again.

Brian and Shelley are wonderful people who made us feel so welcome in their home. We enjoyed tea with them in the evenings, and Shelly's breakfasts were amazing.....We enjoyed a stroll on the beach, which was across the street from the B&B and amonst the apple, pear and plum trees in the back yard. We highly recommend this B&B and we enjoyed the Grand Stuart Room. Thank you for everything!!

Brian and Shelly, Thank you so much for sharing your home and time with us. We enjoyed our stay, the breakfast and chats. Yours was our first B & B, and we couldn't imagine a better introduction to this way of experiencing travel in the Maritimes.

- Peter and Wendy, from Winnipeg 23 August 2012

We stayed for a night in August 2011 after booking through a Nova Scotia tourist centre. When we arrived at Stuart House, we were welcomed more like family than guests. Shelly and Brian were terrific hosts who took great care to make sure we have a pleasant stay. They were very friendly and frank in conversations and were proud to explain the history of the house (one would assume they get tired of explaining the same thing to everyone else), and showed great hospitality.

The well-maintained B&B has a lot of history, and it's a great example of a Canadian family and East Coast hospitality. It's not something that you see everywhere, and not a lot of B&B offer such things.

The breakfast was one of the best on our East Coast trip, the generous fruit bowl of raspberries and blueberries were picked from the backyard in the morning; they just don't get any fresher than that.

Stuart House is more than an accommodation, it's an experience for us, and a great one at that. Thank you Shelly and Brian.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay. It is by far the nicest B&B we have been in! (The home and the people) WE will definitely recommend it to our friends!

- Linda and Leo Makela, from Kanata Ontario 14 August 2011

We stayed here just one night but it was a pleasure. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean, as was our daughter's room. We arrived very late and Shelly and Brian were most accommodating. Breakfast in the morning was very tasty and very well served and Shelly sat with us which was a treat. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

- Deborah Sullivan, from Adams, Ma. USA 20 July 2009

We used the Stuart House as our home base and did day trips to PEI, Halifax, Springhill, Parrsboro... Each morning started with a scrumptious breakfast and Shelly often joined us in the upstairs living room with evening refreshments. The location is the best for day tripping and the hospitality was wonderful.

Stayed at this B & B in 2008. Loved the company of the Tanner's, thought the house was well planned as a bed and breakfast, lots of privacy when you wanted it. Near a great beach!
