My friend and I just spent a wonderful weekend at the Brubacher House. Marg and Lavern are beyond welcoming, completely knowledgeable about the area, and we were served breakfasts that were out of this world. The upstairs suite was very clean and perfect for our needs. This was my second stay here and I am sure it won't be my last. I will be recommending the Brubacher House to anyone who is searching for accommodation in the Elmira area. I am scent sensitive and my gracious hosts were able to ensure that my bedding was scent free, which I really appreciated. This is a top notch location, Marg and Lavern are an amazing couple, and I give it six out of five stars!!

What a wonderful place. We visited July 9,2016. Our room upstairs was spacious, clean and sweetly decorated. The bean bag chair is one that you could take a nap in.Its so comfy. The gardens are spectacular. Marg has a connection to the horticultural society and it shows. The area was beautiful. She gave me good tips for landscaping for my home in Windsor. Her and her husband are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They are both good cooks. Breakfast was amazing and substantial.I would recommend this place to everyone. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Our stay was for 2 nights in the first floor guest room which was very cozy with a relaxing homey feeling. The breakfast's that the host's Marg,Lavern made were very tasty and filling. The flower gardens and the pond on the property were breath taking with amazement.Totally enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this B&B. Will be back to stay another time.

Our second visit was even better than the first. The room was lovely and the grounds were so relaxing with many of the flowers in bloom. I enjoyed counting frogs and a few bees while hubby enjoyed the multi channel big screen in the upper suite. Once again our hosts graciously accommodated our eating restrictions and provided good conversation and a wonderful meal. We hope to visit again.

We certainly found Lavern and Margaret to be generous and kind hosts, and the accommodations were lovely. They went out of their way to provide a late night snack and a friendly chat. Their cat took to us right away. Breakfast was a beautiful array of hot and cold, sweet and savoury, again with great conversation. I do hope we can return to enjoy the grounds in their summer beauty. We also liked the fact that the property is less than five minutes from the town Center.

Brubacher Homestead is a gorgeous place. We had the upstairs suite, complete with a kitchenette and fridge and such, very tastefully decorated, clean, and welcoming with lots of light. Marge and Lavern are a wonderful couple, asking after out comfort and needs including allergies. They prepared a gluten free breakfast for both the days that we were there, making sure they had gluten free muffins for me. They have an absolutely gorgeous garden as you will see from the pictures. We enjoyed our stay with them, and look forward to going back.

I visited this B&B in the process of dropping my friend off for her stay of one night. When I returned in the morning to take the same friend to a shuttle bus, I was greeted with warmth, kindness and a breakfast of my own. There is much to besaid about this place and I could go on....suffice to say that this a beautiful place, from the inside out, from heart top heart. Thank you Laverne and Marg for your kindness.

The Brubacher Homestead is one of the finest places I have ever stayed. The house is old and lovely, and surrounding the house are very expansive, beautiful grass, flowers and trees. The bedroom was wonderful, complete with fresh flowers, and treats - for example, a small bowl of cherries (all of which I ate!). The breakfast was so delicious. I would recommend this accomodation to anyone.

Belle prestation dans une maison de caractère vieille de 100 ans avec un magnifique jardin au cœur de la campagne canadienne et des hôtes (marg et lavern) plus que chaleureux. Très belles chambres confortables et nourriture de qualité.

Just being with the Brubacher's is an invigrating experience, so welcoming and inviting, you will never want to leave. Your home away from home.

- Christine, from Breslau 19 April 2014

This house ànd it's owners are definitely worth visiting. So dó book their new B&B I'd say and you can judge for yourself! And during your stay,if possible, book a dinner made by Marg herself...you won't regret it!

- Lisette, 18 April 2014
