Eagles Wings has the perfect hosts! Jim & Karen are warm, friendly and down to earth people who made us feel right at home in their beautiful lake front oasis. A tranquil setting for a fire, and watch the sunset. All the extra touches in our room put a smile on our faces. Beautiful breakfast to top off the stay!

Thank you Jim & Karen

- Ian & Diane, from York, Ontario 29 August 2018

I want to echo all the wonderful things that others have said about their stay at Eagles Wings B&B! Karen and Jim Doyle are incredibly welcoming, helpful and accommodating hosts. The location is both gorgeous and relaxing and is within easy driving distance of the many sights and activities of the Tobermory district. The rooms and cabin are clean and well-equipped. I so enjoyed my time with them!

- Elaine Pequegnat, from Sarnia, Canada 11 June 2018

This is a MUST STAY B&B if you are visiting Tobermory! Karen and Jim are exceptional hosts and the place is absolutely amazing. We had stayed 2 nights with them and they offer nothing but an open door, amazing views, relaxation and amazing... I repeat AMAZING breakfast. They were also so helpful while we visited guiding us on the things to do and places to go and where to stay away from. We really didn't want to leave our accommodations as their property is beautiful and quiet with exceptionally clean rooms which offers everything you need for a comfortable stay (towels, good hair dryers, shampoo, soap, etc). You will not be disappointed with your stay at Eagles Wings! We cannot wait to return!

- Justin and Vanessa, from Georgetown, Ontario 22 July 2017

This was our 2nd visit. We love this place. Great hosts and most delicious food. Very quiet, but close to all Tobermory attractions.

- Vlad and Natalia, from Newmarket, ON 9 July 2017

The only regret we have from staying at Eagles Wings is that we only had one day at this AMAZING bed and breakfast!! Jim and Karen were the perfect hosts and were so accommodating and understanding when we had to cancel one night last minute due to a health issue with our son and gave us a full refund. Being in the travel industry myself I was very impressed with their customer service and attention to detail. The location and room were perfect and the outside gazebo and hot tub was the perfect way to spend the evening and watch the sunset on the lake! The breakfast was delicious and we definitely highly recommend EAGLES WINGS to anyone that is looking for a peaceful getaway with gracious hosts in the breathtaking area of Tobermory.

- Debbie and Steve Blask, from Buffalo,New York 25 June 2017

We had a lovely stay at The Eagles Wings Bed & Breakfast.

We stayed three nights in the Cabin Bear suite. It was new and clean, nicely laid out and had everything that we needed; kitchenette, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, classes, TV (we didn't even turn the TV on), good size bathroom, sitting room, deck, etc.

The B&B is beautifully located on the shores of Lake Huron which has some of the best sunsets in the world. We enjoyed the lake view, hot tub, the lake view, gazebo, the lake view, ladder golf, and the lake view.

The B&B is conveniently located close to Tobermory, ? restaurants, shops, ?the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry, Fathom Five National Marine Park, class bottom boat tours, Bruce Peninsula National Park, ?hiking, beaches, ?etc.

We very much enjoyed our time with the owners, Jim & Karen. They are wonderful hard working people who truly want to ensure you have a good stay while in their care.

We'll definitely be back sometime in the future.

- Maddie & Ian Mackay, from London, Ontario, Canada 16 September 2016

This testimonial is late in coming but very sincere. This was one of the nicest and most enjoyable B and B's we have ever stayed in. Jim was not only warm and friendly, he was also an excellent cook. The property was 'groomed' for people's peace and pleasure. It's a 'come-back-to' place. Thanks Jim and we'll meet Karen next time

- John, from Barrie 30 August 2016

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! The Doyles' hospitality is unreal! The cabin was perfect and breakfast was awesome. They know everything there is to know about the area and the attractions, and were incredibly helpful to us in planning our visit. You won't find a nicer place or nicer people than Jim and Karen. A+++

- The Beacocks, from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada 23 August 2016

Stayed in Eagles Wings for the second time this year in the spring and summer!! We absolutely loved the property and Jim and Karen were wonderful hosts and they served us the most delicious breakfasts! The property is well-maintained and the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub, gazebo, kayaks and the sitting areas by the waterfront were excellent addition! Will definitely stay again! 10/10 BNB!!

- Tisa, from Toronto 22 August 2016

Hosts Jim and Karen have built a beautiful, serene spot on Lake Huron just a short drive from all there is to do in the Tobermory area. They are gracious hosts, and our stay over two nights in the Cabin Bear suite was fun and relaxing. If you are looking for a place to relax with family, friends or even just by your onesie, this is the place for you! Breakfast was scrumptious too, by the way :) :)

- Rob, from Waterloo, Ontario 21 August 2016

My daughter and granddaughter and I spent the August 1st weekend at Eagles Wings. Everything about this bed and breakfast was wonderful. Just a lovely and peaceful place. Jim was very helpful and attentive to our needs.. would recommend it as a must do while in Tobermory.

- Karen T., from burlington, Ontario 2 August 2016

My husband and I were initially nervous about staying at a B&B, but Jim and Karen welcomed us with open arms and truly made us feel at home. The breakfast was freshly made and scrumptious! We stayed in the Cabin Bear cottage which was very spacious, cozy, and clean. I loved the smell of the cedar wood! The view of the sunset was absolutely breathtaking, with the waves crashing in the background. We will be coming back again! :)

- Madiha & Hamza, from Toronto, ON 21 July 2016

Everything about our stay at Eagles Wings was exceptional! Listening to the waves crashing at night from the cozy gazebo was a highlight. The room was clean, cozy, and even had fresh peanut butter cookies that were very appreciated after our afternoon hike. The breakfast was an abundance of delicious food and lots of coffee for us city folks. The location was close to all the hiking we planned to do. Last but definitely not least, Jim and Karen were so warm and friendly! We definetly would not have found the deep cave area of the grotto without their advice :)

- Emily and Patrick, from Toronto 1 November 2015

Jim and Karen are so warm and welcoming! Breakfast was AMAZING! Beautiful spot and a great location!

- Janine and Tasha Bain, 30 August 2015

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at the Eagles Wings. Jim and Karen are gracious hosts with lots of advice about restaurants and the surrounding area. We stayed in the Cabin Bear which was very comfortable and also has a living room and kitchenette. Breakfasts were very good, ample and were served in the main house overlooking the lake. Gorgeous sunsets could be viewed from the hot tub right next to the lake.

- Bill and Renate, from Indianapolis, IN 24 August 2015

Really nice place! We stayed in the cozy cottage room. The building had a beautiful cottage feel throughout, and was very clean. The gazebo was a wonderful place to relax with the smell of cedar and the sound of waves. We loved watching the sunset over the water from the hot tub! Good, filling breakfast, and friendly hosts, too.

- James & Rebecca, from Waterloo, Canada 14 August 2015

Jim and Karen were lovely hosts for our 3 night stay. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there. From the delicious breakfasts, the outdoor jacuzzi, kayaking, star gazing, and the outdoor fire by the lake, we had an amazing time for our first trip to Tobermory. Thank you Jim and Karen for making it feel like a home away from home!

- Jenny and Corey, from Windsor 31 July 2015

My wife, daughter and I spent a night here and our host was warm and welcoming. The place was well kept with attention to small details for guests to enjoy with view of the lake a joy to behold. The breakfast was awesome and so was the hosts. We would not hesitate to visit again.

We can add Karen and Jim another enthusiatic testimonial about eagles wings. It was absolutely the best B&B for us while travelling round the Great Lakes. In addition we had a unique beautiful weather in late september to enjoy all the offers of eagles wings and the tobermory region.

- Karin & Magnus Nieger, from Gars, Germany 19 October 2014

“Peaceful!” We stayed at this B&B for 2 nights and loved it! Karen and Jim are such wonderful caring people and they want to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. Breakfast is marvelous. We enjoyed the peaceful location over looking Lake Huron and spent each evening outside in the gazebo watching the amazing sunset or sitting in the hot tub. Jim and Karen... It is Emily & Thomas writing from Italy... what can I say... Breathtaking comes to mind.. Beautiful, clean, peaceful, the breakfast was delicious and Jim you thought of everything.. You made our stay memorable. The cabin bear beautiful and just what we were looking for. It is a shame we live so fare because we would have made the Cabin Bear/Eagle's Wings our yearly getaway... We loved the idea of the kyaks, hot tub and the bonfire you had ready for us the night we arrived. A definite must for those reading this testimonial... Jim and Karen are great hosts. Til we meet again...Emily, Thomas, Lucy, Samuele & Gaia

We stayed two nights in the Bear Cabin and we had a wonderful time there. It is very clean and it has everything you need. Jim and Karen are very friendly and their breakfast was delicious. We also took advantage of the kayaks and the hot tub and we enjoyed the beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

- Eric, from Paris, France 27 August 2014

Karen and Jim have a real gem in Eagles Wings! The setting cannot be beat, cozy room with everything you need, clean and bright. Amazing sunsets and a waterfront that makes you think you are at the ocean. This is Lake Huron at it's best. We loved it!

- Lesley and Jeff, from Burlington, ON 26 July 2014

Thank you so much, Jim and Karen, for a wonderful stay! Our kids did not want to leave, they loved everything so much. Jims amazing waffles for them in the morning, the hot tub and of course playing at the watershore. We all had an amazing time, thank you for great breakfasts, lovely conversations and everything else. We will have to come back, try out your canoes and see those bears and rattlesnakes ;) Hope to see you again some day!

- Julia, Matthias, Emma and Annabelle, from Switzerland 26 July 2014

As Canadians we are known for being nice. You cannot get more Canadian than Jim and Karen. They are over the top nice. They are welcoming and helpful. They have a wonderful location-- complete with rocky shore and breathtaking sunsets. At Eagle's Wings, you feel like you are at the cottage -- quite fantastic. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay!

- Barb and Scott, from Toronto 13 July 2014

An absolutely amazing retreat, Jim cooks an unreal breakfast and is an ever invitingg host. The hot tub and kayaks really make Eagles Wings a place I look forward to revisiting and will gladly send family or friends in the area to.

- Georges and Catherine, from Montreal 28 June 2014

Great place to stay during a visit to The Bruce Peninsula. Room was very clean and beds were warm :) B&B is located on the shore of the lake, sunset there is beautiful (especially if you sit in front of the fireplace roasting sausages or marshmallows). Such a vicinity provides a great opportunity for kayaking. There is also a hot tub. You might just enjoy hot bath or first jump into the lake (it's pretty cold :) and then into the hot tub, either way it feels fantastic. Separately I need to mention Jim's breakfast, after having had it, I got hungry only at the evening. I definitely recommend to go to Eagles Wings.

- Victor, Wouter, from Russia, the Netherlands 23 June 2014

Jim and Karen were great hosts and made a wonderful breakfast! They made us all feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin bear room was perfect for our group of four. It was beautiful, super clean, and spacious. Tobermory was a quick 15 minute drive which was just far enough to be in a quiet area with no traffic, just nature. There's a hot tub, kayaks, a fire place for marshmallows, and even a gazebo with a TV with lots of movies to watch under the stars and a great view of the lake! We plan on coming back to Tobermory again and will definitely be staying here again if we can! :)

- Jenn, from Toronto 16 June 2014

Jim and I were here last weekend and rate this place as being a 5star. We were very comfortable and Jim and Karen were wonderful hosts. I recommend a nice place to stay. We will be back.

- Mary Ann McDonald, from Alliston, Ontario 5 June 2014

I stayed with Jim and Karen and mid May for three days and had a wonderful time. They are very thoughtful hosts. We were greeted with fresh cookies on arrival to the bed and breakfast. Breakfast in the mornings from Karen was delicious. We spent the day hiking in the area and at night time we relaxed on the beautiful beach outside the cabin looking at stars or watching movies in the outdoor gazebo. Jim also has kayaks which he lends out. Wonderful couple and place, would definitely recommend it.

- Cindy, from Ontario 26 May 2014

We were so lucky to find this wonderful bed and breakfast as we hadn't booked any hotel for a mid-august weekend. The view on the lake is mind-blowing, the rooms and house are beautiful. The jacuzzi in front of the lake is just amazing to watch the sunset. There is even a little fire place on the beach, to keep warm while staring at the stars. Jim and Karen are nice hosts. You should definitely consider staying at this bed and breakfast, you won't regret it. I hope I'll have the opportunity to come again.

- Clémence, from Waterloo 26 September 2013

My boyfriend and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at Jim and Karen's beautiful bed and breakfast. We drove up from Toronto on Saturday and only stayed one night but would have loved to stay much longer. We stayed in Cabin Bear and I would highly recommend it. It was a private suite with everything we needed. The waterfront was only a short walk away and absolutely gorgeous. The hot tub was great for keeping warm as the sun was setting. Tobermory was only a short drive away. Jim and Karen were excellent hosts and wonderful people. We hope to visit again some time soon!
