dot Windrush Bed and Breakfast
Just returned from a couple days at Windrush Cottage and the only bad thing I can say is the stay wasn't long enough. Lynn and Dave are wonderful hosts as well as being very nice people and were both helpful in suggesting hiking trails we would enjoy. The breakfasts were delicious, the conversation interesting, funny and entirely enjoyable. The accommodations were first rate and a bargain for the price they charge. Very clean throughout the apartment, very comfortable bed, a small fridge and microwave as well as a full size fridge for your use. Satellite tv, a wood stove and nice sitting area are provided and almost anything you may need toiletries wise are in the clean, pleasant bathroom with the nicest shower I've ever been in, even in my own home. Sitting out by the pond at night spotted 3 beavers, a red fox and a deer, wildlife abounds in the woods that surround the grounds and this is a great spot for nature lovers or city dwellers trying to enjoy all the beauty nature provides. The entire area is beautiful and we love it so much we hope to make it our future home soon! Do yourself a favor and if you are staying in the area contact Lynn and Dave and make a reservation.

My family came over to Canada in the summer of 2014 to visit relatives, we used Windrush Cottage as our base and it was everything we wanted. We had our own self contained cottage which is great when you just want to come and go and not feel as though you are intruding in the personal lives of our hosts. The location is exceptional and the warm welcome and standard of accommodation really made our holiday. We hope to visit Canada again soon and will be checking in at Windrush Cottage again... if there is any room !

We came over from England this summer and used the lovely Windrush Cottage as our base, great location, lovely hosts Dave & Lynn. We had the detached cottage which is spacious and very well equipped. Breakfast was excellent, fruit, cereals, muffins, toast, home made preserve, very good and Highly recommended.

We had a great two night stay at Windrush. Lynn and Dave are very good hosts. We felt immediately welcomed and comfortable in the well appointed/clean b&b. Lynn's breakfasts are delicious and filling with fresh fruit salad, home made baked goods and cooked breakfast The setting is beautiful and the location is fantastic, very close to Algonquin Park, Huntsville, Lake of Bays etc. We hope to visit again soon.

I was lucky enough to stay at Windrush in August 2012 , the location is spectacular , wonderful views and so peaceful . I loved sitting outside in the early morning with a cup of tea just watching the wildlife and listening to the birdsongs . The hosts are lovely people , nice and friendly and the food was delicious . I would recommend this B&B and I would definitely return in the future .

This is a beautiful place to stay. The scenery is wonderful in any season and there is plenty of wildlife around. The hosts are lovely and the food great. We plan to stay there often.
