We stayed here last week and really enjoyed it. The house is lovely, the B&B suite was large and immaculately clean, the hosts were very friendly, and they could even accommodate my food restrictions for breakfast. I wish we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the countryside. If we are back in the area, we will definitely be booking here again!

A beautiful, touch of class in the middle of tranquility. The little extras like cookies before bed add to the pampered feeling. Brunch is worth the experience. You can taste the care and positive energy in every bite. The smell of fresh bread greats you in the morning & draws you to the dining room. What fun! Judith you are truly a joy to be around.

- Kim Siemens, from Blenheim 17 August 2019

A girlfriend and I wanted a quiet get away to unwind and relax while our husband's were away. Judith, her family and her lovely home did not disappoint. Quaint, quiet and so beautiful. Her snacks and home cooked meals were amazing. The suite is a perfect place to relax. We even enjoyed the enlarged patio in the evening and swam in the beautiful pool. Can't wait to go back again.

- Terri Wingrove, from Ingersoll 12 August 2018

Stayed this past weekend at October Sunrise B and B and it was A++++ The room is charming and so private. The pool was wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic. Loved every minute!!

We so very much enjoyed our stay with Judith and her family during the first week of September this year - and we highly recommend staying at the October Sunrise Farmhouse B&B. Not only were we made feel more than welcome to stay with the Llewellyn family, everything else was close to perfection - and completely easygoing and relaxed at the same time. Judith's breakfasts have already been praised - and we can only add more and more to that praise! Travelling three weeks in Ontario and Québec, nowhere else did we get that kind of excellent food from such a wide choice, and everything prepared by Judith herself. Of course, the suite was most comfortable and spacious, too, the bed warm and cozy, and the bathroom in itself would surely be worthy of a day-spa. IF you want to leave the suite at all, the area also is well worth the trip, whether it is from Bonn (Germany) or just from around-the-corner-Toronto. Thank you ever so much for everything - and we are definitely very much looking forward to our next stay with you!!

- Andreas und Ellen, from Bonn, Germany 3 October 2017

Most lovely was out host Judith and het marvelous breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend this lovely place. Our next visit to Canada needs to include some nights here!

Five stars out of five! I really enjoyed the stay at October Sunrise Farm a lot. The breakfast - all home made - was amazing, the room exceptionally beautiful and the whole place was stunning. Judith and her family looked after me and did everything so that I had a perfect stay and their B&B. I just can recommend it!

- Susanne, from Germany 15 July 2017

My husband and I decided to take a break from all the hustle and bustle of the usual New Years events last year. Instead we chose a quiet 3 day stay at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We were welcomed by Judith, Brian and her children when we arrived New Years Eve. It didn't take long to feel the warm welcome and the generosity of this loving family. Each day Judith prepared us an amazing breakfast from locally sourced and mainly organic food. She let us choose our breakfast from her many selections as it was a quiet time of year. She packed us a brown bag care package for our daily outings from the leftover buns and muffins. When we returned each day there was a little plate with cookies and chocolates waiting for our sweet tooth! The room was always kept clean and was very cozy. There was a bar fridge as well for our convenience. We were lucky to find this little gem in the country. We are heading back this week for our Anniversary get away. What better way to spend a relaxing few days then surrounded by the wonderful colors of autumn and the kindness of these wonderful folks that make you feel at home as soon as you arrive :) Would highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a great away!

- Sue and Alex Moir, from Guelph 10 October 2016

Without question the finest B & B we have ever stayed. Superb hospitality, finest breakfasts and the friendliest hosts. Many, many thanks for such an enjoyable stay!

- Bruce & Debbie, from Willowdale, Ontario 8 August 2016

- Ati & Willi, from Windeck / Germany 26 June 2016

We stayed here on a chilly Feb. weekend. The beautiful open views of the countryside from all windows in the suite is a real balm to city hearts. Everything has been thought of, careful attention to every detail. The space is roomy and comfortable, impeccably clean. The breakfasts will keep you going well into dinner time. Delicious and healthy.

Judith and her family were a pleasure to meet.

- Rita-Anne, from Toronto, Canada 17 February 2016

Nestled in a grid of rural dirt roads is this gem of a B&B. A perfect quiet getaway from Greater Toronto in the sunny fall season, augmented immeasurably by the warm welcome and excellent food provided by owners Judith & Brian. Excellent home base for provincial parks and hiking spots in the Orangeville Area. VERY Highly Recommended.

- Kurt & LJ Halfyard, from Ontario, Canada 18 October 2015

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, after a very long hike through the Mono Cliffs. It was such a beautiful place to stay! The room was immaculate, the food was incredible, and our host(s) were very sweet. Thank you so much for such a wonderful visit.

- Kristen & Dave, from Bowmanville, Canada 28 September 2015

My daughter, granddaughter and I had the most wonderful time. The bed and breakfast was fantastic. The food outstanding, the suite comfortable and well appointed. Judith and her family are such nice people. We were made to feel really welcome. October Sunrise Farmhouse B&B is the nicest B&B that I have ever stayed at. Thank you Judith for looking after us so well.

- Suzette Forster, from Rideau Lakes, Ontario, Canada 7 August 2015

We had a lovely stay here. The food was amazing and the home was beautiful. If i have the chance, i will definitely stay here again. A big thank you to Judith and her fmaily for such a welcoming and relaxing stay.

- Clara, 25 July 2015

My husband and I spent one night here when attending the Alton Cuisine Art Festival and wished it could have been a longer stay. Everything was perfect - comfy bed, warm and attentive hosts, and superlative food! Not a single thing was overlooked, from the tea and coffee in the room, to the chocolates, fresh strawberries and homemade cookies on the bedside table. And the breakfast - wonderful home baked buns and muffins, fresh fruit, cheese, German apple pancakes - and a brown bag offered for take away!! For anyone who may be somewhat leery about what 'the family experience' might mean, don't be! The young people (Christopher and Emma) were exceptionally well mannered and personable and an absolute credit to their mom and dad. If only most adults could be so grown up. Meeting them only added to the experience! We definitely hope to return for a longer stay in the not too distant future and will be sure to recommend this charming B&B to our friends and family.

- The Seidmans, from Owen Sound, Ontario 23 June 2015

Really quiet setting in a very nice home. This is a great place to decompress. And the breakfasts! You will be asking for Judith's recipes. My wife and I enjoyed our anniversary getaway very much. We loved the Orangeville Jazz and Blues Festival which included award winning musicians.

- J & N, from Surrey, Canada 7 June 2015

Everything is perfect !!!

- Heike Twelkemeyer, from Manitoba, Kanada 25 April 2015

The scenic, rolling country, beautiful trees, and the nearby river are just some of the reasons why I would recommend October Sunrise Farmhouse B&B. The guest room is very spacious and lovely furnished. And the wonderful host family will be certain to treat you to home baked goods.

- Heike Twelkemeyer, from Manitoba 25 April 2015

Thank you for the wonderful stay last summer. We had a great time and it was perfect for our family of 4. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful and we really appreciated the little extras that we had to take with us each day. If we return to the Orangeville area, we will be certain to stay with you again.

- David and Anne-Marie Horne, 11 April 2015

We had a lovely two-day stay at October Sunrise B&B and loved every minute. The accommodation is beautifully appointed, very clean and fresh. The suite is quiet and private with beautiful views. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious and healthy breakfasts perfectly presented. Can't wait to return. This is definitely a destination where you could easily stay a week and feel as though you were at a spa.

- Andrea & Bruce, from Amherst Island 20 October 2014

We just came back from almost 3 weeks of holidays in Ontario and Quebec. We only stayed in B&Bs or small hotels. Most of them were pretty agreeable, but the October Sunrise was by far the best! It was peacefully quiet (a very strong feature, if you come from a busy and loud town like Stuttgart, Germany, as we do!). It had by far the biggest room of all B&Bs we've been to. Very good and comfy mattress, nicely decorated room with lots of space to put all your stuff, same goes for the bathroom. Shower AND bathtub AND large sink AND a window to open (in many other places, bathrooms seem to have been fit at a later stage in a little corner of the room, so there's just a ventilation but no window). There's a cute balcony just for the guests. There even is a swimming pool! (it was too cold when we were there, unfortunately!). The whole place seems pretty new and in a very good state, also spotless clean. Best of all was the breakfast. Just one word: Yummie !!! No, wait: best of all were Judith and her family! The nicest people you can imagine, all 4 of them. We've had many funny and interesting talks. We'll definitely come back! So: thanks a lot, guys!! We'll be back!

- Nicole and Helmut, from 70199 Stuttgart, Germany 7 October 2014

Just arrived home from a weekend here, and what a wonderful weekend we had! Judith is an incredible hostess, with a lovely family who all make you feel right at home. Beautiful home with gorgeous surroundings, and the breakfasts are amazing, with so much variety! I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone! We had a lovely and very relaxed time!

- Joyce Freeman, from Ontario, Canada 10 August 2014

We enjoyed a wonderful stay and are already finding an excuse to return. Judith, Brian and the children all made us feel very much at home. The breakfasts and afternoon treats were prepared with such care and variety (as well as accommodating to my special diet). Judith has created a wonderful retreat for guests and is the perfect host of a B & B!

- Debbie Schenk, from Ontario 3 July 2014

This is one the best B&B's I have ever been to! I loved everything about it. The food was excellent, the hostess was warm and friendly, made us feel at home! The room was incredible and the bed was out of this world! Would recommend this B&B!

- Teresa, from Markham, ONT. 28 April 2014

Wir können nur sagen : Supergut !!

wir werden sicherlich bei der nächsten Gelegenheit wiederkommen.

- Fam. vor dem Brocke, from Schleptrup, Deutschland 23 April 2014

This is the perfect escape - it's both peaceful and picturesque and Judith was very welcoming with refreshments on arrival which included freshly baked cookies. Her three course breakfast was again freshly prepared and plentiful. The room was outstanding with stunning views from three sides. I look forward to returning soon and enjoying this hidden jewel in other seasons.

- Tina, from Mississauga 6 April 2014

The room was cozy and well appointed. Nice bathroom with a lovely rural view. Judith was a pleasant and accommodating hostess who prepared a delicious multiple course breakfast to be enjoyed in a cozy and bright nook in their elegantly appointed living room. The Bed and Breakfast is easy to find, close to Grand Valley and conservation areas, and set in a quiet and picturesque location. Reasonable rate.

- Doug, from Hamilton, Ontario 22 February 2014

We had a really wonderful time staying here and plan to return. The hospitality was gracious and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious (as well as accommodating to our gluten-free diet)and the afternoon treats unexpected and special. The room was beautiful and spacious, with ample storage, and the bedside reading lighting was great. We enjoyed our conversations with each member of the family, including the kids.

- Noreen and Keith, from Toronto, Ontario 30 December 2013

October Sunrise Farmhouse B&B is a real jewel. Everything is just perfect, the spacious room and bathroom as well as breakfast and the quiet surroundings. Judith and her Family are very warm and welcome. Thank you so much for everything. Hope to be back soon!

- Monika & Anja, from Germany 21 November 2013

October Sunrise was utterly perfect for my taste. My host Judith is quite the cook, and her cuisine is healthy as well as delicious. The setting is what I prefer--peaceful farmland. The generous room with its specially fine mattress and bedding made me never want to get out of bed. The bathroom is spotless and has a luxurious Jacuzzi tub. There are darling cats. 'So restful! I loved waking up here. And the family is lovely.

- Anonymous, from Minnesota , USA 18 November 2013

What a wonderful Bed&Breakfast! A fantastic room AND bathroom, spacious and impeccably clean, delicious breakfast choices, all of them. There is nothing more to say! Thank you very much Judith and family, we will definitely be coming back

- Mary and Marlene, from Luebeck, Germany 6 November 2013

Our stay at October Sunrise was nothing short of amazing. The guest suite is spacious and luxurious and the food is delicious. This was our first stay at a Bed & Breakfast and we were pleasantly surprised as 'hotel people' to find that we felt right at home in The Llewelyn family's care. We will definitely be returning and recommending October Sunrise to all of our family and friends who may venture out that way.

- Christine & Nick, from Oshawa, ON 29 September 2013

This is the place to go, if you are looking to get off the air for a bit! Very quiet surroundings; extraordinarily comfortable suite with a pleasant view on each side. We were able to unwind and enjoy the warm hospitality of Judith and her family. Her breakfasts are fresh and fabulous!

- Joe & Beth Gray, from Ajax, ON 17 September 2013

We made a wonderful discovery here! This B&B is just awsome! The environment is beautiful as well as the house and the bedroom is soooo comfortable! We enjoyed the jaccuzi in our suite and all the many small attention of the hostess who makes a big difference. She is also a great cook and obviously, she makes everything with love. We highly recommand October Sunrise if you are whishing for a really quiet, beautiful and cozy stay.

- Andrée Robert, from Quebec, Canada 16 September 2013

Went simply for a time away......but found new friends. This B&B is undoubtably one of the nicest we have stayed at, wonderful room, excellent hosts, immaculate grounds/pool. Judith and her family are wonderful to be around, attentive and personable but not pushy. The breakfasts are first rate, with variety and fresh ingredients. The only 'problem' is having to withstand the aromas of the fresh baked goods.......salivating while knowing that you have to wait til morning. We hope to make it back in the future.

- Brad & Carrie Morrison, from Windsor On. 27 August 2013

We had a fabulous time here! It exceeded our expectations! Judith is an amazing hostess with a gift for creating a warm atmosphere and delicious gourmet breakfast. The grounds were stunning as was the farmhouse and we were delighted with the spacious accommodations and interior design. Will definitely return!

- Anonymous, from Barrie, ON 6 August 2013

Our visit to "October Sunrise" B&B was a breath of fresh air in the country, the smell of fresh baked goods at any time of day brought memories of Grammas kitchen on a Saturday afternoon. This beautiful home in the country was impecably clean and well furnished. Our Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and Judith and her two very helpful children provided amazing breakfasts and snacks during our 3 night stay. We really enjoyed this farm setting and plan to visit again. We highly recommend visiting the "October Sunrise" B&B.

- The 'Grosvenors', from St. Thomas Ontario 30 July 2013

After travelling from NY to Boston and Toronto, Judith's b&b was the perfect place to while away what was left of our wonderful holiday abroad. The accommodations were great - just the right mixture of warm coziness, luxurious facilities and a very personal but still modern and 'breezy' style. So close to buzzing Toronto, the surroundings are rural and soothingly quiet. Judith keeps her place absolutely spotless and her breakfast with homemade bakery and fresh fruit was the best treat to start every single of the three days we stayed. We would stay forever, if only we could... well, we'll definitely be back! Thanks so much for an outstanding stay - October sunrise truly is a gem.

- Katrin und Daniel, from Hamburg, Germany 27 June 2013

Beautiful, peaceful bed and breakfast hosted by a wonderful family. Judith's breakfasts are top-notch. We will definitely return, highly recommended.

- Anonymous, 27 May 2013

This was definitely a luxurious B&B experience! We arrived to the welcoming aroma of baking bread and in our room there was a platter of delicious homemade cookies, strawberries and chocolate! Judith and her family were very hospitable even going out of their way to anticipate our potential needs and yet respecting our privacy. The suite was beautiful and very comfortable. The hearty breakfast was served with elegance. Without hesitation we would recommend October Sunrise to anyone who appreciates superb service, yummy food, and lovely surroundings. We hope to come again!

- A. Richards, from Jerseyville, ON 24 April 2013

This was by far the best B & B we have ever visited. Our suite was large, beautifully decorated and provided amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Judith and her family's friendliness and enthusiasm made us feel welcome in their home. We look forward to our next visit.

- Jim & Cindy Calcott, from St. Catharines 10 March 2013

We absolutely loved our stay! For anyone planning to stay in this area or passing through don't waste time looking at other places - just stay here! We have been to many B&B's and this was the best. The room was beautiful, cozy and impeccably clean. The meal was delicious and the baked goods amazing. We had fresh cookies waiting for us! Our only regret is that we couldn't use the balcony (winter). Total quiet and rest from the city!

- The Guhas, 4 March 2013

Our stay at October Sunrise was fabulous. Judith and her family were welcoming and accommodating hosts. Our room was beautifully decorated with amazing views of the surrounding farm lands. The breakfast and snacks that Judith made were absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone and hope that we can come to stay again soon.

- Laura Hartley, from Toronto 3 March 2013

Judith is a fabulous baker and her buns are simply delicious! The house is gorgeous and lovingly restored.
