FIVE STARS! Lovely home, great host, fantastic breakfast! We enjoyed our first ever B&B experience, and would highly recommend it. Jeff, is a gracious, accommodating, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the home, property and surrounding areas. The Victorian home was beautiful, comfortable, clean and spacious. There were clean towels and robes provided in each of the rooms, and each of the 3 shared bathrooms there is to choose from (one of which has a jacuzzi). The breakfast was delicious, hearty and presented with elegance. If I had to describe our stay in one word...luxurious!

I have had the good fortune to be welcomed here on a number of occasions. The accommodation are spic and span and my breakfast was delicious and tastefully served. Jeff is very accommodating, always making the dinning room open for me to bring in my other meals. The location of this B&B is within walking distance to hospital. If you have family in hospital this is the place to stay.

The Wright House in Wiarton is really the RIGHT house to stay over in if you have relatives in the Gateway Haven Long Term Care home on Frank Street. The two places are a short 5 minute walk apart. Our family has enjoyed several stays with Jeff Brown, the proprietor. The bedrooms are beautifully furnished, the fresh white towels and bathrobes are plentiful, the breakfast her serves in fresh and delicious, and he himself is a most accommodating host. We will be having a big party of 9 in our family spend one night of our Christmas vacation at the WRIGHT HOUSe in Wiarton. We are really looking forward to it.

This was the most stunning B&B ever! Super clean, super host, amazing breakfast. Absolutely nothing missed. Did I mention CLEAN!! Not one speck of dust! Jeff is so personable and very kind! I felt like I was in a luxe hotel. I would recommend over and over!!

My two friends and I stayed here on August 8th, 2017 on our way to Tobermory. Jeff was extremely accommodating and made sure our 3 motorcycles were in a safe area on his property. The Wright House was absolutely stunning. It was tastefully decorated. Our beds were very comfy. There were three shared washrooms to choose from which were spotless. There were tons of fresh towels and bathrobes. Jeff gave us recommendations of where to eat and where to visit during our stay. The beautiful breakfast was out of this world. Fresh fruit and yogurt, followed by scrambled eggs, banana pancakes, back bacon, juice, coffee and tea. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. Anita, Judy & Cathy.

Fabulous host; we 'really enjoyed' our stay and the easy conversation. Love the decor, the period pieces and those reminiscence pieces of Windemere Lodge! Very comfortable beds and outstanding breakfast! Highly recommend!

- Mike and Suzanne Ryan, 19 June 2017

We spent 2 very comfortable nights at the Wright House. Breakfast was great and set us off on 2 days of hiking well nourished for the day. An added benefit to us was Jeff's willingness to shuttle us to our start as we only had one car. The location is easy for walking out for dinner.

Could not have been treated better! The house was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was really tasty and beautifully presented. And the host was very friendly and hospitable I would rate my experience as 5 out of 5!

Great two night stay while hiking. Jeff was gracious host. Three bathrooms upstairs were excellent. Would stay again any time.

Just finished 2 nights at this wonderful B and B. Our host Jeff was amazing. His attention to detail was astounding. The place is gorgeous, the food terrific and the rooms were a cut above. Thanks for being our host.

- Gloria P, from Alberta 25 September 2016

Jeff is a nice host showing great patience and hospitality from the moment we step in the house. The room is spacious and clean (we ordered the one with the queen-sized bed.) Shared-bathroom, upstairs has three full bathrooms, though, one right next to another, water pressure being very strong. What has impressed me the most is there're clean towels almost everywhere you think will be needed. Breakfast is amazing, too, hearty and colorful, served right on time. It was our first, one-night-only B&B experience, but I'm sure it's gonna stay in our memory for many years to come. If we're ever gonna travel north again in the future, we definitely know where to stay over. Thanks Jeff!

Wonderful in all respects! Jeff is a great host in a wonderfully appointed stately home in downtown Wiarton! I stayed twice in late May and early June. The first time was with my hiking partner as a break during a thruhike of the Bruce Trail, otherwise camping along the way. We were pampered so well, including a wonderful huge breakfast that satisfied two men with hiker-hunger! Then we stayed on the way back home after finishing the Bruce Trail in Tobermory, this time with my wife and my hiking partner. The same wonderful treatment from Jeff! I've recommended it to everyone I've met who's going Wiarton way.

- Mark, from Orangeville, Ontario 22 June 2016

Jeff was a most welcoming host and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed an evening of conversation, a restful night's sleep, and a lovely breakfast to send us on our way. We will definitely consider staying at Wright House on our next visit to the Bruce Peninsula.

This was a great B&B experience in a beautiful, historic home made even more memorable by the excellent hosting by Jeff - couldn't have been better.

My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. we did a tour from Sauble Beach to Tobermory, so we used this guesthouse as our overnight, in between, to cut up the time we spent driving. It was a really great place! We wanted for nothing. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast and what time we wanted to eat and it was ready for us. Breakfast was amazing and we left with full bellies! It was a big beautiful, comfortable, clean house with all that we needed. 4 bedrooms and 3 very large bathrooms, with many towels and housecoats. Jeff really thought of everything. I would highly recommend this B&B if you are needing a place in this area.

Had a fantastic stay at the weight house! The house is gorgeous, beds are comfy and the house is kept in emasculate condition. Jeff was very polite, helpful and courteous. He made a fantastic breakfast and even had a highchair on hand for our little one :) Thanks again Jeff!

This is a lovely place to stay. It is absolutely spotless. Jeff, the host, is very attentive. There is WiFi, a decent breakfast and beds are comfy. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Jeff. I will surely be back.

What a gorgeous B&B. The breakfast was superb and Jeff was a marvelous host. We were there for the Murder Mystery Comedy show (the night before at a local hall - it was great!) and this venue just added to a wonderful experience. The breakfast was delicious and extremely well presented. The rooms spacious and comfortable, the home was a delight to see. It was tough to leave the next day that's for sure. I couldn't recommend it any higher. Thanks Jeff for a wonderful visit.

- Mike Millar, from Hamilton, On 31 January 2014

'Tis a wonderful thing in the midst of a blustery winter to have selected as a haven such a well appointed restored mansion; the strawberry bread was delicious, the fluffy towels plentiful, the coffee endless, the books in the parlour historical, the main drag in Wiarton close by.

This is a great b&b. The heritage home is large, beautiful, and very well maintained. There are many large common rooms to relax in. The bedrooms and bathrooms are immaculate. Nice robes too! Jeff is a great host and his breakfasts are second to none. We always stay here when visiting the Grey/Bruce Peninsula. See you soon Jeff.

- Adam and Eva, from Ajax 3 August 2013

Thank you Jeff for a very warm welcome to your beautiful Heritage home in Wiarton. The Belmore guest room was pleasing in all aspects; fine linens and a comfortable mattress, luxurious robe and towels, elegantly decorated and beautifully crafted furniture. Looking forward to another stay....FDH, London, Ontario

This beautiful home & the warm welcome I received here was an oasis in the middle of a January freezing, snowsquall storm that lasted 4 days. THANK YOU Jeff.

A friendly accommodating host. Very clean and tidy heritage home with ample space for relaxing. A variety of healthy breakfasts. We were there for five days with six people and would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here for five nights with my family and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were warmly welcomed in and made to feel at home right away. We all agreed that Jeff provided friendly and professional service that could not be beat. He felt like family after only a few hours. If we ever happen to be in the Wiarton area again, we will definitely stay here again!

- Paul Eikelboom, from Oxford, England 22 January 2013

Thanks Jeff for being a wonderful host. The Wright House is a beautiful heritage building and very central to downtown Wiarton.

I particularly enjoyed your stories about the house and area and also early morning walks to the park and marina.

- Kathy Jackson, from Nanaimo BC 27 August 2012

The Wright House is a comfortable and beautifully restored and furnished century home. Jeff made us feel welcome and helped us find our way around Wiarton. He provided us with a delicious homemade breakfast. He also told us a number of interesting stories about some of the items in the home. We highly recommend it.
