“It was a lovely last place in Canada. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Kind Regards.”

- Maria C., from Sliedrecht, Netherlands 20 August 2017

Everything was perfect.

- Piotr, from Omaha, Nebraska, USA 4 August 2017

“Inn on the Moraine is such a gem; Diane is so welcoming and both her and Lacey made us feel at home immediately, the room is very comfortable and it's obvious that a lot of thought has been put into what a guest might need, the breakfast is delicious and generous. Highly recommended!”

- Shanti, from Toronto, Ontario 4 August 2017

“This was a B & B but our accommodations were very private with a separate entrance to a loft unit above a garage. It was very roomy and comfortable. Breakfast was served in the main house a few metres away. The owner was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived.”

- Angela and Don, from Chatham, Ontario 4 August 2017

My husband and stayed here for the music fest June 3rd and 4th.Stan and Diane were the best. You couldn't ask for better hosts.the breakfast was excellent, I'm gluten free and and they had that too. They treated us as family we really had so much in common. The rooms were big and beautifully decorated. The property is lovely, lots of beautiful birds and a big lovable dog Lacy. I would stay again in a heart beat. Oh Ya! Thank you for the songs you guys sang to us I will never forget that. Hope to see you next year. Your Friends Pat and Fred Kertesz

- Patricia and Fred, from Brantford, Ontario 19 June 2017

“We enjoyed our stay very much and will recommend you to our friends. For me an important aspect of a B&B is whether or not I can relax when I'm an unknown guest in someone's home. I've stayed in a B&B where it was clear that "he" didn't want to be doing B&B at all and I was an unwelcome intruder. Needless to say, your entire family (especially Lacey!) put us at ease, which multiplies the great environment and food ten-fold.” Stuart Craig, Deep River, Ontario May 2017

“We really enjoyed our stay with you and hope to stay (and play guitar) with you again. We will never forget the experience of having breakfast just inches away from squirrels and many different birds. I have never had such a close look at many of those birds before.”

- Susan, from Deep River, Ontario 10 May 2017

My parents and I came to this B&B during a semi-crisis with our house so we did not get to relax & enjoy as much as we would’ve liked to but Stan & Diane made it a little oasis in the desert for us. The rugged woodland outdoor surroundings with the nicely furnished, spacious bedrooms & sitting area upstairs, and the pretty little breakfast nook by the picture window with the bird feeder close up, all added to the charm of the place. (The only thing we would suggest is to put a door between the main house/kitchen and the guest area to give some sound & odour barrier and a little more privacy).

Diane treated us to a substantial, tasty breakfast every morning (later even garnished with organic sprouts Smile) and went out of her way to accommodate our special diets – even adjusting her signature banana bread to make us a healthy, dairy-free, gluten-free version! Her friendly, caring hospitality was very much appreciated! Thanks again, Diane!

“None Better,” A first class experience in a picturesque country setting . Comfortable, spacious bedrooms. Huge breakfast. Premises were immaculate. Excellent service from hosts Diane and Stan. Look forward to going back." Dec 2016

- Gary H., from Gananoque, Ontario 12 December 2016

“Wonderful bed and breakfast!” My daughter (age 9) and I just came back from staying there for an overnight after watching the Christmas parade in Schomberg. The bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable. The breakfast was so delicious as well. Thank you to the wonderful hosts! December 2016

- Karen C., from Oakville, Ontario 6 December 2016

“Very Peaceful Weekend” We arrived at Inn on the Moraine on a Friday night for a two night getaway and were heartily welcomed by our hosts Diane and Stan (along with their adorable dog, Lacey). We knew right away we were in for a wonderful weekend after meeting them and seeing the house. Our bedroom (The Indigo Room) was spacious and comfortable. Since there were no other guests there that weekend, we had the whole upstairs to ourselves. The main room is a sunlit beautiful space with sectional couch, TV, 500+ movies, a pool table, and wonderful views. Being the only guests, we also had a private washroom to ourselves.

Breakfast was fantastic. There were eggs, bacon, homemade banana bread, fruit bowls, toast & preserves, roasted potatoes, and other veggies. They also made a wonderful ginger tea, which was great for my sore throat. My only disappointment was that I was starting to come down with cold, so we weren't able to enjoy the property and trails. Oh, well, that means there will be a next visit soon :) We can't wait to return! November 2016"

- Joe & Lisa S., from Toronto, Ontario 6 December 2016

“What a lovely Bed and Breakfast!” We stayed at The Inn on the Moraine this past weekend for our wedding anniversary and loved it! The Caledon area had wonderful natural areas to explore and we even ran the Bolton Rotary Haunted Hill Run which was fun too! We chose The Studio which was great for us because it had it's own separate entrance, it was clean with lots of space and the bed was very comfortable. Diane was a wonderful host and even accommodated my dietary restrictions. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! If we are ever in the area again we would definitely come back! October 2016 "

- Anka & Craig C., from Ancaster, Ontario 6 December 2016

“Our stay at the Inn !” We had the pleasure of staying at the Inn last week, travelling with my 3 young children, husband and mother. Having chosen this wonderful spot due to its proximity to both Caledon Equestrian Park and Toronto we have experienced a wonderful few days in this bed and breakfast. We were greeted and treated throughout our stay with authentic charm and friendliness particularly as we are strangers to the area and had many questions about the lifestyle here in Caledon. We had comfortable, warm and spacious accommodation and each morning had a wonderful breakfast prepared by Diane herself. I therefore would recommend this to anyone wishing to visit Caledon and the surrounding area and we are already planning another trip. October 2016"

- Michelle & Paul W., from Knowle, Solihull, England 6 December 2016

“Back again!” We were in Orangeville on the weekend and unexpectedly needed a place to stay. I called Diane and we were fortunate enough to find that she did have room for us in the Studio. What a treat! We had a quiet, starlight (through the skylight) night, a delicious breakfast and off we went. My only negative comment is that it was too short! Thanks, Diane, for taking us on such short notice. October 2016"

- Jane & Hugh McD., from Stratford, Ontario 6 December 2016

“Clean & Comfortable” We stayed in The Studio at Inn on the Moraine this past weekend while attending a wedding at Albion Hills Conservation Area. Diane and Stan were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The bedroom, complete with en suite bathroom and queen-sized bed, was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also fantastic - a 3-course meal that was both delicious and healthy. We're already looking forward to our next visit and would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quick retreat from city living.” Sept 2016

- Sonia D., from Stoney Creek 6 December 2016

The perfect venue from which to enjoy our grandsons wedding. Our two day stay removed 'day of' travel stress and was delightfully relaxing. Air conditioned, comfortable accommodation and great breakfasts all very much appreciated. Many thanks to Stan and Marlene for their hospitality. Thanks also to their lovely dog Lacey who was happy to oblige when we needed our doggy fix and to the many birds for the entertainment during breakfast. All quite lovely...thank you !

- Gail and Tom, from Whitby 7 September 2016

“Lovely spot in Caledon” We were at a wedding in the area on Sunday, so we only stayed one night. Next time we are in Caledon we will stay for a few. What a lovely place! Diane and Stan are great hosts and the Inn is charming. Extensive grounds and very peaceful surroundings. And, did I mention the great breakfast!”

- Peter D., from Toronto, Ontario 2 September 2016

“Buccolic charm at modern inn.” This beautifully-situated B&B is exceptionally comfortable and efficiently managed; its owners considerate and genial sharers of the bucolic charm. Our room was spacious and airy with windows looking out onto the gardens and fields of the extensive property. A really comfortable bed and the country-quiet made for a great night’s rest. The sitting chairs and a writing desk in the room make it suitable for a longer stay. The adjoining sitting room with skylights enhances this area of the house as a private apartment for the guests. Diane’s breakfast of fresh fruit, baked goods and hearty main, set us up for a day of exploring. The very busy birdfeeder outside the window of the breakfast room was a typical detail of the special charm of the place; another was the binder in the sitting room, documenting the history of the house, tracing renovations from its squared timber beginnings in the early nineteenth century to this delightful modern inn.

All the best to you for this weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Greetings to Stan and the vigilant Lacey.” Aug 2016

- Natalie Rewa, from Toronto, Ontario 9 August 2016

“ 5 stars Excellent retreat with local food and fair trade organic coffee! Friendly and country charm - worth the drive.” July 2016

- Barb I., from Palgrave Ontario 9 August 2016

“Big rooms, lots of hot water and TV channels, and very quiet and peaceful, you will sleep well. Very clean and spacious. If you are competing at Palgrave Equestrian Park this B&B is only 8 minutes away so very close and convenient for traveling back and forth”.

- Deana P., from Fredericton, New Brunswick 16 June 2016

“Very nice home and accommodations. Lovely hosts. Short drive to nice restaurant in Palgrave. Excellent breakfast, enjoyed with great garden view. Ideal for two couples or a family, with a large common area to enjoy. Comfortable and relaxing. Lots of room to walk and enjoy nature in the back garden. We would visit again.” Ross Hirning, Toronto, Ontario, May 2016

- Ross H., from Toronto, Ontario 8 June 2016

“Thank you for your hospitality this weekend. What a lovely home, enjoyed meeting Jenni and Tailyn too. Good luck with the Fairy trees, Stan filled me in on the plans for the stumps. Hope it goes well. Have a super week and thanks again.”

- Leslie L., from Campbellville, Ontario 8 June 2016

“Had a lovely time here. Enjoyed playing pool. This place is super clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful service. I give it 5 Stars!”

- Maia S., from Manotick, Ontario 8 June 2016

My wife and I stayed in the apartment adjacent to the main house. The facilities were great and our host, Diane, couldn't have been more accommodating. She shared her knowledge of the surrounding attractions and made us feel at home. We loved it!

- John C., from Brooklyn, New York 29 October 2015

“My family decided to take a trip to Caledon to see the fall colours and we stayed at Inn on the Moraine. We had the two bedrooms on the second floor. Both rooms are beautifully decorated with individual character and charm. Each room has a big walk-in closet where you find hanging space, toiletries, extra pillow and comforter. The queen bed is very comfortable. We had the second floor all by ourselves. Outside the bedrooms is the big open space lounge where we sat on the sofa and enjoyed movies on a big screen TV. We had very much the comfort of our own home.

We also enjoyed the hospitality of the owner Diane. She gave us a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing - freshly cut fruits, freshly made breads, eggs and bacon, all so delicious. We had a wonderful stay. We have already decided we will go back again in winter.”

- Niki L., from Toronto 29 October 2015

“Diane was a fabulous host who welcomed us into her lovely home. The long tree lined driveway lead to a charming old log farmhouse - with a large luxurious addition. Beds and linens were great and the breakfast in the morning was first class. Diane gave us a great recommendation for dinner at a restored church (maybe 10 minutes away). Overall great experience and I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We will be back.”

- Tom, from Ottawa 28 September 2015

“Wish we could stay longer! Quiet and restful house with great hospitality from the hosts who were very helpful with everything we needed and a good breakfast. Beautiful large corner room with comfy bed, two windows with a garden view out and all very well appointed. Walked the huge back yard/acreage where the moraine comes down to a trail into a wetland with birds, beaver and no buildings anywhere in sight! From a nearby crest in the road in front of the house you can see the buildings of Toronto in the far distance. We would go back in a flash! Our GPS wanted us to enter the nearby pleasant town of Bolton rather than Caledon. Watch for the address on the road as no sign for Inn on the Moraine. Room Tip: Upstairs rooms (2) have corner windows and huge very comfy shared great room for guests.”

- Bill & Marilyn R., from Vancouver, Ontario 14 September 2015

What a beautiful peaceful restful place. Our hosts were amazing, very attentive to our needs. The knowledge of the area, the birds. The room was so nicely decorated, the bed was so comfortable. The breakfast was beyond my expectations and they even had gluten free bread. It was beyond our expectations. Fresh fruit, herbal tea, eggs bacon, tomatoe, roasted potatoes.

- Gene, from Ottawa 11 September 2015

Thank you very much for the lovely accommodations and food! I will not be back the end of September as I thought I might but I will be sure to let u know as soon as I pick a date to come in the future. We had a lovely time:)

- Emily, from London, Ontario 8 September 2015

The “Inn” is really a 10-acre homestead owned by Diane and Stan, local musicians, and their Poodle/Retriever mix, Lacey. Marked by an ambling wooden horse fence, Inn on the Moraine snuck back past one of those lovely little lakes into a ranch-style home and a separate over-garage loft that we would call home for the next four days. You couldn’t meet any lovelier hosts than Diane and Stan who served breakfast each morning on their back porch pergola. Dining on fresh baked zucchini and banana breads with local eggs and bacon was the perfect start to a day at The Pan Am Games (July 2015) Room Tip: We stayed in the garage loft, which was roomy and quiet.

- Jenna and Jessica O., from San Antonio, Texas 30 August 2015

“Thank you for everything. I will certainly recommend the Inn to other people, I promise. I think we all will. We enjoyed everything so much.”

- Lisan J., from Toronto 24 August 2015

"It was wonderful!! Great hosts!! Glorious grounds!! Complete with outstanding pet therapist!!"

- Anne R., from Toronto, Ontario 9 August 2015

“My friend and I stayed at the Inn during the Pan Am games. A lovely place to stay. Clean, good beds. Breakfast was wonderful. Grounds were very nice to stroll on. We stayed in the Studio, very private and quite. I would go back any time I was in the area.”

- Anne W, from Lakehurst, Ontario 27 July 2015

“We stayed at the Inn on the Moraine while at the Pan Am games watching our daughter compete. A beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, comfortable beds and delicious breakfasts. We had our 8 month old granddaughter and her parents with us and Diane was most accommodating to meet the baby's needs. The inn was well situated to the Caledon Equestrian Park where the competition was held. Diane was very helpful with information on the games and the area. We would definitely return to this inn if we are ever back in the area.”

- Maureen H., from Canton de Hatley, Quebec 26 July 2015

Thanks Diane and Stan for a lovely bed and breakfast stay - and a special thanks for dropping us off at the Pan Am games.

- Sharon and Emily, from Elmira, Ontario 15 July 2015

Very friendly hostess at a quiet country retreat.

- Charmaine and Emma, 15 June 2015

Our stay at the Inn on the Moraine was very enjoyable, in a tranquil setting with beautiful mature trees and a small pond, we were truly in the country. Stan and Diane the owners are very personable and welcoming hosts, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Our room was luxurious in its décor and bedding and we highly recommend the inn. We would definitely stay there again.

- Rob and Penny Bartlett, from Toronto, Ontario 11 June 2015

The 3 of us had a very comfortable stay at the "Inn on the Moraine" while we attended a family wedding. The rooms were clean and spacious, the breakfast was excellent and Dianne and Dan were very accommodating. We would certainly recommend this B & B.

- Don, from Ottawa ON 8 June 2015

“A Convert to B&B” I have never been a big B&B fan. However, this place was quite enjoyable, and restful. My wife and I stayed at the Inn along with her parents, who had stayed there the previous year (for the record, we were more chaperoning her folks than they were us). We will go back, no doubt. The bedrooms are spacious and elegant, the billiard table is a joy and the breakfast was over the top. Stan and Diane, and their dog Lacie, are great hosts - there when you need them, otherwise it's as if it's your own place. Oh, the grounds and the location are lovely. Douglas, Barb, Ron and Joyce.

“My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Diane and Stan made us feel welcome. They thought of everything to make people feel at home. The rooms a very comfortable and clean. The outdoor space is also very beautiful. A lovely bed and breakfast. Looking forward to our next visit.” Brigitte H, Kanata, Ontario Sept 2014

We spent 1 night and had a great time at the Inn on the Moraine. Our hosts were very nice and the room was super clean and comfortable. It is nice to have a full seperate floor with plenty of entertainment and the grounds are large and pieceful. Also great breakfast with homemade jams and cakes. Would definitely recommend this place!

- C, from Toronto 7 September 2014

Judith and I stayed one night in early September 2014 and I can strongly endorse all the previous testimonials. If you are considering a stay in that area it would be my highest recommendation. Delightful.

- Michael R Harris, from Ottawa Canada 6 September 2014

“We stayed at the Inn on the Moraine for two nights in late November as we were attending a birthday party in nearby Bolton.

Hosts Diane and Stan were wonderful. They were warm and friendly and right away made us feel like we were family. Their lovely dog, Lacey, greeted us when we arrived and was so well behaved and gentle that you hardly knew she was there.

The Inn is set on 10 acres in the rural, rolling Caledon Hills north of Toronto, making for a lovely country getaway, away from the noise of the city. Our room was very quiet and peaceful and very dark at night. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The queen bed was quite comfortable and we slept well. There was lots of room in the walk-in closet for our stuff.

Because there is only one bathroom for the two available rooms, we paid the higher price so we could have exclusive use of the bathroom (they lock-off the other bedroom so there are no other guests). This arrangement also afforded us exclusive use of the huge, adjoining lounge, complete with huge, leather sectional couch, big screen TV and pool table (the room is probably referred to as a “greatroom” - so spacious with the cathedral ceiling!). Guests enjoy access to an extensive collection of DVDs. We brought our own drinks (there is a mini-fridge in the lounge) and snacks, and considering the cold, snowy weather we had, it was nice to stay in and relax with a movie.

The hot, home-cooked breakfast was plentiful and delicious. A real treat! We loved that our table by the window overlooked the back deck where so many species of birds came to feed just inches away on the window sill, in the adjacent trees, at the many feeders, and on the deck itself. One of the first snowstorms of the season left the surrounding evergreens heavy with snow and picture-postcard perfect so the view was quite beautiful.

Our only regret was that it was too cold and snowy to explore outside - it looked like a beautiful property. We will just have to come back in warmer weather.” Sharon and Fred McD., Cumberland, Ontario, November 2013

Set on a picturesque and private country property, the Inn on the Moraine provides a relaxing place to stay whether you are on business or holiday. The Inn is clean, quiet, well equipped for the traveler's needs and lovingly furnished and decorated. The exceptional hosts Diane and Stan are welcoming and generous and understanding of privacy and all needs of the traveler: great beds, towels & toiletries, fridge, internet, TV, reading materials as well as sightseeing, nature trails and outdoor recreation brochures. Diane serves her home-baked breakfast loaves with fresh fruit, hot coffee and tea and any other food requests in the sunny breakfast nook. Although the location is in the country, small towns and the highway to Toronto are handy. We loved our experience and recommend reserving now, while there are still rooms available. Room Tip: Sage room has a large walk-in closet & storage area but beds in both rooms are comfy!” Caron and Chris T., Caledon, Ontario, May 2014

“Diane and Stan were wonderful host for a weekend filled with hiking and golf with friends. Rooms were spacious and comfortable with a great common area equipped with a pool table and large screen TV. Breakfast was very tasty and wonderfully presented and Stan and Diane went out of their way to make us feel right at home. We have stayed in B&B's throughout Ontario in our quest for golf and hiking the Bruce and the Inn on the Moraine rates at the very top of the list. Sabato D. Pushlinch, Ontario, June 2014

My daughter and I have stayed with Diane/Stan for 3 years now - wouldn't stay anywhere else... The hospitality, friendliness and great chats over coffee make it my favorite B&B when traveling for horse shows!!! Thank you Diane for always being so accommodating

“The Inn On the Moraine - Memorable Hosts at a Magical Place”

In a not too far-off place a bird’s eye view reveals a colorful portrait painted on a canvas of earthscape only nature can masterfully create. Sweeping acres full of rolling green, gold & red dotted among the trees whose leaves seem to whisper in rhythm with each pass of the autumn winds.

In Caledon you can taste the essence of the season at a very special place - a place where the balance of nature and humanity have come together to celebrate the trinity of earth, wind and fire in a truly intimate way...a place where animal friends greet you with welcome sounds and sights...a place where the passage of time is embodied in the walls that provide you shelter and one where comfort and calm can be found under a century oak tree.

This wonderland glittering with natural beauty is the Inn on the Moraine - a quaint, historical iconic property dating back to the days of early pioneer settlement - preserved with the original log structure which still stands today and forms part of the existing Inn.

The proprietors of the Inn on the Moraine are Diane Tolstoy & Stan Janes - this wonderful team along with Lacey their adorable dog have become guardians to this wonderful property ready to provide an experience unique to each visitor’s tastes and needs. They are musical souls with an obvious love for the art as the property is decorated with instruments from all over the world - from drums to maracas, accordions and even guitars - there are wonderful examples of adorning the walls, shelves and hallways of their home. In perfect harmony Stan & Diane work together in all aspects to ensure each moment of your experience is complete and where possible will do all they can to exceed your expectation.

Not surprisingly, they are both highly recognized for their dedication and involvement in the Caledon community through numerous charity and service organizations including Rotary & Kinsmen. Having made great strides to bridge community groups to work in unison they have even initiated a Ride-Share program in co-ordination with regional police services to keep the community roads safer for everyone. Stan & Diane's exemplary community involvement stands as a testament to their kind, generous and thoughtful nature and this shows through in all they do particularly in operating the Inn on the Moraine.

As prominent members of the Caledon service community they extend their time, energy and resources participating in programs, initiatives, and projects that make a positive and lasting impression on the lives they touch.

There are so many reasons to consider a stay at this beautiful property. Located only 45 minutes north of Toronto, it provides for the ideal country get-away and a place for urban-types to get back to nature in a simple, unfettered way. Stan & Diane have made a deliberate effort to work at making each guest's experience as relaxing, and enjoyable as possible. From the home-cooked meals chock-full of organic farm fresh goodies to the delectable preserves, or sensory-rich teas every effort is taken to give you the most memorable stay possible.

The property and its facilities are clean, modern and in excellent condition.

We highly recommend considering spending time at the Inn on the Moraine and hope you enjoy your time getting to know the property and its owners as much as we did.

“Wedding Weekend B&B” “My husband and I stayed at Inn on the Moraine during our wedding weekend in Caledon. We chose the Inn on the Moraine since it was close to our wedding location (Royal Ambassador) and the scenery around the house was perfect for pre-reception pictures. Diane and Stan were incredible hosts - they went out of their way to ensure that the rooms would accommodate our wedding party and that our room for the wedding night was perfect! The breakfast in the morning was amazing and their dog Lacey was super adorable. The rooms were very spacious with great amenities. I would recommend Inn on the Moraine to anyone who is looking for a country getaway.” Neeti V. Toronto, Ontario, Sept 2013

“Country living at it's best” “I stayed with Diane and Stan on my way through Ontario. The setting is beautiful nestled in the rolling hills of Caledon. There is plenty of space for hikes or to just sit to read and relax. Their home is perfectly appointed to welcome guests, and let you have privacy in well-appointed rooms with amenities. Breakfast accommodated my wheat-free diet, which was a pleasing surprise. Diane, Stan and their dog Lacey make you feel right at home, just like old friends :). Bobbie H., Vancouver, BC July 2013

“This B & B was far more than we expected. We were made to feel right at home, except their home is nicer. Diane and Stan couldn't have made us feel more comfortable. Lacey their dog was just the icing on the cake. The food was terrific and having breakfast out on the deck was perfect. It is one of those places where the first thing you notice late at night is how quiet it is. For those times when you don't want to go out if you can't find a movie to watch from their collection, well you’re not trying very hard. We will definitely be back. Our stay at the Inn on the Moraine was absolutely wonderful. My brother and I had traveled a long way to Bolton for our Uncle's funeral, so upon arrival to the Inn on the Moraine we were exhausted and very sad. Yet, from the moment I walked in to Stan and Diane's I felt at ease. I stayed in the Sage Room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the walk in closet huge, and the views from my room were beautiful. The open area upstairs was wonderful - a great place to relax and unwind after a busy and stressful day. Breakfasts were delicious, served hot, and even the coffee was tasty. The hosts, Stan and Diane were very caring, and in my opinion had just the right balance of being able to make easy conversation with you, and yet completely respect your desire for privacy. Their dog is friendly, and very well mannered. This recommendation may be long, but I can't say enough about this bed and breakfast. Treat yourself to this great place if you are in the Caledon area.

"We had a wonderful stay. Your B&B had many conveniences that are too numerous to mention. The companionship, food, attentiveness, generosity, caring and thoughtfulness was second to none. The setting and greeting made us feel comfortable right away. The conversation was very nice, enjoyable, fun and appreciated. Thank you again for a lovely stay, we would recommend your place to anyone and everyone."

"Very nice B&B" My wife and I stayed at the Inn on the Moraine for a weekend in late June while attending a wedding at the nearby Royal Ambassador Banquet Center. Very relaxing stay, comfortable bed, and a nice breakfast atmosphere outside on the patio. The shared bathroom was a bit of an inconvenience but that is the only negative aspect we could find. We definitely recommend the Inn on the Moraine." Kevin & Janice S, Quatar

"Starting at the Top". My out of town relatives had the pleasure of staying at the Inn on the Moraine for two days while attending my daughter's wedding in Caledon. The warmth of the "Inn" was evident from the time they walked in the door. Stan and Diane, are caring remarkable hosts, making everyone feel right at home. The unique character of the home and the gorgeous rooms made their stay truly exceptional. All six of my relatives had never tasted a more delicious home cooked breakfast, the variety was amazing. Although the group had never stayed at a B&B before, they all commented, that they were starting at the top!

"Great B&B and Wonderful Hosts!!" Dianne, Stan And Lacey(the Dog) were the best hosts. We had the pleasure to stay at Inn on the Moraine in August 2012,so we could attend my son's Wedding reception in Caledon East. We felt like it was home away from home & treated like family. The B&B is beautiful, and the breakfast was excellent. We will be back again for sure and tell anyone who is visiting the area that it is the place to stay. I can only imagine how beautiful it would be for a fall getaway, when the leaves turn colour. "The best B&B to stay in while attending the Caledon Equestrian Park". My daughter and I attended a 5-day horse show at the Caledon Equestrian Park and stayed at Inn on the Moraine. The serenity of the gardens was just beautiful and very welcoming as we drove down the driveway. The moment I walked in the door upon check in, I was impressed with the gorgeous home and the cleanliness of the entire Inn.

I can't thank Diane and Stan enough for their hospitality. We felt very safe and welcome and even managed to squeeze in a movie in the beautiful lounge. Our days were longer than long and we were drop dead exhausted upon our return to the Inn. Not to mention dirty. After a quick shower we would fall into the very comfortable bed in our large room with walk-in closet.

There was room for all of our regular clothes and our show clothes. I was very happy. The next morning our breakfast would be packed and waiting for us in the kitchen by the door. (Show mornings are very, very early).

The best was the third morning where our day started much later and my daughter and I enjoyed the absolute best breakfast of peameal bacon, farm fresh eggs cooked to perfection, coconut toast, fresh preserves and more - all on the beautiful back deck in the airy gazebo. We never wanted to leave.

I can't wait for next year and am planning on staying at the Inn on the Moraine as often as possible. Thank you Diane and Stan."

"A magical place". From the moment we arrived, Diane and Stan made sure we felt welcome and at ease. They are wonderful hosts. The special touches really show how much they care about their guests. We loved breakfast in the gazebo and Lacey's (the dog) pleasant and quiet presence. The Inn on the Moraine is nestled in a beautiful natural landscape with a magic on its own that is well worth a visit. We'll be back." Thomas and Loretta M, Edmonton, Alberta July 2012

"Great place, great people". What a lovely place to stay! Part century log house with decor to match. I was greeted by a canine welcoming committee who later kept me company while I read my book in the screened in porch. I was in the area to work at a Horse Show, so no vacation for me, but it was less than 10 minutes from the showgrounds so no distance for a tired body at the end of the day. A bonus was visiting with my hosts for a chat and a beer! Set in a beautiful wooded site the old house has been lovingly maintained and the addition designed to match. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast just what I needed to set me up for the day and lots of hot water to wash away the dust from the showgrounds. I hope I am invited back to the show, so I can stay in this very hospitable B&B again. I feel as though I have made 2 new friends.

"Home from Home". We were recommended to the Inn by a friend and we were delighted with it. The house is partly century log house set in beautifully tranquil grounds very tastefully furnished. Diane and Stan are excellent hosts and Lacey the family pet is very welcoming too. The bedroom is bright and roomy with a very comfortable bed. The lounge area, just outside the bedroom is very comfortable and quiet. The food was plentiful and delicious. Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back if we are in that area in the future.

"A Picture Perfect Weekend. What a spectacular view!!! Breathtaking grounds!!! You will enjoy the solitude of the area if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful surroundings. The decor in the Inn is very suitable to the landscape, tranquil. Even though we were attending a business meeting held at the Inn the proprietors Stan and Diane were the perfect hosts as well as their beautiful dog. We were greeted on Friday evening with a warm welcome, wonderful conversation to make us feel right at home and when we left Sunday morning we felt like we were leaving family behind. We were not disappointed in any way with our weekend and we too would like to thank you for choosing to share your home with the rest of us who enjoy Bed and Breakfast experience over a motel. Hopefully you will enjoy your stay with us as well in the Dominican." Chelle and Duncan Davidson, Chatham, Ontario March 2012

You know you've discovered a special place. It starts with the first sighting of the magnificent grounds - the pond, the statuettes, as you drive along the tree-lined road. And it continues as you discover the welcoming environment of the Inn on the Moraine. Elegant details and spectacular views from every vantage point, amid ten acres of natural and protected marshland. The accommodations and the grounds are appointed with every possible comfort - and the most hospitable hosts you could ever hope to meet. "I want my guests to experience the same beauty, serenity and peaceful surroundings that I get to enjoy every day," says Diane Tolstoy, Keeper of the Inn. And we did! Congratulations Diane and Stan - and thank you. We will be back!

"We recently had the pleasure of spending a few days camping on the grounds of the Inn on the Moraine. It is a tranquil, peaceful breath of fresh air. Just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the busy city, this lovingly tamed piece of nature is home to many birds and other animals. An adventurous walk through the mystical forest was a treat for both the kids and adults. The mature trees offer shade and are home to the many varieties of birds.

We spent much of our time at the pond where the kids played in the sand and did some frog hunting. I personally preferred reading my book in this calm, relaxing environment. In the evening we enjoyed the multitude of stars and a clear view of the full moon. S'mores and spider dogs were enjoyed at the mesmerising bonfire which was a great end to a terrific day of great food, fabulous grounds, beautiful gardens and entertaining stories from our hosts, Stan and Diane. This is a must see step into nature with the comforts of home."

"We had the pleasure of staying at the Inn on the Moraine from June 25 to June 29, 2011.The first thing that took my breath away is the location of the Bed and Breakfast. It has so much to offer, beautiful flowers and many places where you can sit and enjoy nature.

I do not usually sleep well while away, this time was different. The quality of the bed sheets, pillows and mattress made my sleeping experience beyond any of my expectation. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to challenge the day. The decor of the room is absolutely beautiful, and had many personal touches, chocolates on the side table, fresh flowers, two water decanters on the desk.

Diane and Stan are so welcoming, they are both extremely good cooks. You are definitely in for a treat with the large selection on the breakfast menu. This is a top quality bed and breakfast. I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends and family."

"I also would like to thank you for the beautiful stay at your place. I would never forget your amazing piece of paradise. I was one of the first guests at the Inn on the Moraine - a relaxing paradise oasis, hidden in the Bolton forests just 45 min drive from Toronto. I enjoyed the beauty of the Canadian nature and had a unforgettable sleep in the camper van and watched the sun rise and wild animals. It's a perfect place to switch off from our busy days and life."

"In preparation for our Wedding in Toronto (Brampton) on July 6 2010, we decided to stay at a lovely Inn located in Caledon, Ontario. The picturesque property just neighboring Brampton made our stay at the Inn on the Moraine so relaxing and at ease. Our stay was wonderful and quiet and intimate. Also because of the size of the acreage we where able to accommodate for a private dinner with family and friends. All in all, during our whole stay we where able to enjoy the quiet luxuries of our surroundings and use the grounds for many beautiful wedding photos".
