Wonderful location for discovering “The County” and all it has to offer! Rob & Gillian are wonderful hosts who share their knowledge and passion for Bloomfield and the surrounding communities! Loved our stay and hope to be back soon!

- Len & Elinor, from Niagara, ON 30 April 2019

Our stay at Loyalist Landing was very enjoyable. Gillian and Rob are the perfect hosts and the breakfasts were delicious!

- Catherine LaPlante, from Barrie Ontario 18 October 2018

Rob and Gillain provide an exquisite bed and breakfast service. The Inn is lovely both inside and out. I loved the comfy seating on the large front porch. There is a beautiful backyard complete with fire pit, pond and hot tub. Beds are comfy with soft organic sheets & a great mattress. The hosts provided us with fun ideas after learning we enjoy biking, good food & wineries. The breakfast is healthy and delicious. We enjoyed a game of trivia directed by Rob on the last day. I cannot begin to list all the little details that make this place a cut above. Highly recommended

We're enjoyed two visits to Loyalist Landing this year. Rob and Gillian are warm and welcoming hosts who ensure that guests have everything that they need. Gillian loves to cook, she and her sous chef, Rob, provide excellent breakfasts using local ingredients from the County and from their garden. Attention to detail in the form of garnishes of fresh herbs, beautiful dishes and a willingness to accommodate dietary needs indicate that they strive to provide a memorable and stressfree stay for guests. The Inn is ideally located on the Main St. of Bloomfield, close to everything. Guest rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Picton, Wineries, cycling routes are all nearby. Best to reserve restaurants for dinner in advance.

- Kathryn and Alex, from Ottawa 27 November 2017

Rob and Gillian were charming and gracious hosts--available but not intrusive. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The front porch is outstanding. Our group took over all three rooms and had a wonderful time.

We had a very enjoyable time in Prince Edward County with our wonderful hosts, Gillian & Rob. Their B&B is very well maintained and offers many places to sit and relax outside (veranda and patio). Breakfasts were great.

Our hosts pointed out sightseeing options and places to eat. We'll certainly be back.

- Sue & Ken, from Newmarket, Ontario 4 July 2016

My husband and I spent a night at the Loyalist Landing recently and would return there in a heartbeat! The house is beautiful and immaculate! We enjoyed sitting on the wide front porch. The room was comfortable and unique, with a clawfoot tub in the room. Rob and Gillian were gracious hosts and provided a scrumptious breakfast for us, sitting on the porch. The location could not be more ideal, within walking distance to good restaurants and shopping.

- Shirley Brubacher, from Elmira, ON 7 June 2016

Myself and two friends just finished a 3 day stay at the Loyalist LANDING B & B. We had the most marvelous visit. Gillian and Rob are the most gracious owners. They made us feel right at home. Their house is simply beautiful. I have never had such delicooks breakfasts as what they made for us. They were so helpful answering any questions we had. Their home is spotless. The location is perfect. It is right in Bloomfield which is such a beautiful quaint town with lots to see and do. I look so forward to visiting here again soon. I cannot express how wonderful my stay was. Thank you to Gillian and Rob for making it a perfect get away.

- Julie McClintock, from Brampton, ontario 5 June 2016

Thank you Rob and Gillian for taking such good care of my friend Hannah and I during our three days stay. I enjoyed your hospitality, your delicious breakfasts and all your efforts to make our stay special. Marie Filipe

We have just returned from a delightful stay at the Loyalist Landing in Bloomfield. We were cycling and wine tasting for a few days in Prince Edward County and the B&B’s Hillier Suite provided the perfect accommodation to relax in at the end of the day. Breakfasts were superb, with their home baked muffins, fresh fruit cups, quiche, omelettes, frittata and each morning the offerings were different and delicious. Best of all is the fact that the hosts, Gillian and Rob, are the absolutely perfect couple to run a B&B, with their unique blend of grace, charm, wit and helpful information. We felt that we had arrived as strangers but departed as friends. We have no hesitation in recommending this B&B to others.

- Colin & Marg, 12 September 2014

Restful combination of a lovely, clean, comfortable room and queen bed plus great location and wonderful multi-course breakfast served by jovial hosts. Our first visit, but felt like home away from home with family and friends!

- Gordon and Lynne Tyler, from London, Ontario 24 August 2014

What a great place to stay. My wife and I spent our 44th wedding anniversary in the Hillier's suite and found it to be very comfortable and very clean...Gillian and rob Leeks were wonderful host...I will recommend this place to my friends and will return myself...

- Mike and Sue Comeau, from White Lake,Ontario 17 August 2014

I enjoyed a very comfortable night at the B&B in Bloomfield sharing Rotary chat with hosts Rob & Gillian Leek. I was made to feel most welcome. I enjoyed the comfort of the Quinte Room and the excellent breakfast that was served. I was sorry that my schedule did not permit me to enjoy more time at this delightful B&B.

- John Kirkwood, from Jinja, Uganda 27 June 2014

I recently stayed at the Loyalist Landing just this past weekend for a course I was taking nearby with a co-worker of mine and I can honestly say that I cannot wait to return. Rob and Gillian made us feel SO welcome and comfortable and made the BEST BREAKFAST in town! The room was luxurious and clean and the hot tub REALLY hit the spot at the end of a long day sitting in an uncomfortable chair. On top of all of that, the location was 5 minutes from the winery, the most amazing rustic restaurants and the sweetest little shops filled with an eclectic collection of art, bedding, knick- knacks and everything in between. Thank you SO much for making our stay even better then we could have imagined it would be!

- Mervat Ignuta, from Oshawa, Canada 17 June 2014

We really enjoyed our stay at the B&B, Gillian & Rob were friendly hosts, they made us feel welcomed in their home, went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and little things they did to make our visit more enjoyable. We loved being pampered at breakfast, the food was excellent, loved the muffins, everything they made was exceptional. We surely recommend this B&B, it was clean & a nice place to stay. Thank you.

- Maurice & Linda Couture, from Val Caron, On 9 June 2014

My wife and I stayed at the Loyalist Landing for the Maple Festival this year. The property was beautiful and the house was immaculate. Breakfast was fantastic both days and the hosts Gillian & Rob were very friendly and knowledgeable.

I'd highly recommend the Loyalist Landing to those wanting to visit the Prince Edward County.

- Brian, 25 March 2014

We are just returned from a sublime weekend in the County, having stayed with Gillian and Rob at Loyalist Landing. From the lovely rooms to the hosts' insightful suggestions to the truly delicious breakfasts, spending time at this B&B was a sincere delight.

Rob and Gillian are warm, kind, and knowledgeable. The rates are fair. The house is comfortable. And the food, delish...poached pears from their summer harvest, fresh- frozen asparagus from the PEC bounty in a frittata, and straight-from-the-oven blueberry muffins.

We will definitely be staying at LL again!

- Andrew, Deena, and baby Evelyn, from Toronto, Canada 23 January 2013

Just the most gratious and wonderful people you could hope to meet.Beautiful comfortable room with with a very delicious Greek fritatta for breakfast.I highly reccomend a stay here.

- Jeff n Michelle, from Kanata 26 August 2012

Rob and Gillian extend a very warm welcome to their B&B. They are well informed about the area and readily available to assist their guests. Loyalist Landing is a lovely house with spacious and beautiful gardens out back. The rooms are pristine in cleanliness and comfort. Breakfasts are lavish and tasty and every effort is made to accommodate dietary requirements. Prince Edward County is an oasis of country roads and quieter times, although there is plenty to see and do. If you wish, you will be given a pass to enter nearby Sandbanks Park, where amazing beaches await. While visiting the quaint town of Bloomfield, it was a pleasure to stay at Loyalist Landing and spend time with such gracious hosts.

- Molly Shannon, from Hamilton, Ontario 22 August 2012

Stayed at the Loyalist a week or so ago. Truly, a very comforting and enjoyable B&B. Nice atmosphere and accommodations. Great hosts. Like a good B&B should have, great conversations and lots of yakking between guests and hosts around the breakfast table.(the morning trivia brainstart was fun!) Hosts were very helpful with information and knowledge about the area. definitely would return and recommend to other B&B travellers.

- B ill & Deb, 31 July 2012

A perfect place to stay. Rob and Gillian are fabulous hosts and make you feel welcome from the minute you arrive. Not only was breakfast terrific each morning, the lively conversation around the table was such fun and made our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely try to return again!!!!

- Waren & Deb, from Sandford, ON 8 August 2011

What a find!! Our host and hostess were delightful, knowlegable about local history, and the breakfast was simply the finest we've experienced in our many travels. All local products, all organic and expertly prepared. The room was clean, comfortable with every ammenity. It is close to Ontario's best beach, easily accessible by bike or car, about 30 wineries, and fine local shops. We will definitely be back for Taste of the County in the fall.

- Randy and Nancy Fletcher, from Manotick, Ontario 11 July 2011

As a single woman business traveller, this was the most enjoyable B&B I have ever stayed. Gillian and Rob are the most enjoyable people to be around and clearly enjoy entertaining and hosting. They have created a new standard in hospitality for the area. They accomodated a hectic schedule and provided a truly decadent experience with genuine personalities....Delightful and delicious!

- C. Morrison, from Guelph, ON 28 June 2011

Loyalist Landing exceeded all of our expectations from the food to the beautiful home to the hosts Gillian and Rob. Try this place and you will not be disappointed! It very convenient to all wineries and restaurants.

- Kara Dawson and Marcus Christensen, from Toronto, Ontario 27 June 2011

Wow! A must do for anyone looking for the perfect B&B. My wife and I travelled out to the County this June and had an amazing time. Rob and Gillian were the best hosts we have ever had. It was nice to have hosts who were so friendly and knowledgable yet gave each guest their own space. We stayed in the Hillier Suite for our our anniversary weekend and Rob and Gillian even gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate. The county is beautiful and provided more than enough for us to do. Thank you once again Rob & Gillian for everything. We look forward to coming again!

- Nathan & Ally, from Ontario, Canada 9 June 2011

Just as the photos suggest, this is a lovely home away from home for a night or a weekend. The hospitality offered by Gillian and Rob was great: 3 course breakfasts which always included a tasty homemade muffin (I think the rhubarb was my favourite) and really good coffee (from the coffee experts), the hot tub which was ready for us after our bike ride as well as the late request for breakfast so that we could enjoy an early morning run and ride. We'll enjoy returning again.

- Jana, from Toronto 31 May 2011

the hospitality at loyalist landing was more than gracious...Rob and Gillian were great hosts; breakfasts were delicious and every effort was made to accommodate the eating preferences in the group from vegan to regular fare. The B and B was both pleasing and comfortable and nicely situated for our bike routes and other explorations! Yes, we would return!

- Chris Appelle, from Ottawa 30 May 2011

We found this home-from-home as pretty and as pristine as the pictures suggest. Wonderful comfortable beds, great food, abundant hot water and a welcoming & relaxing atmosphere. Rob & Gillian always had a smile, even when woken at 6:00am to unlock our bicycles from storage. Loyalist Landing is highly recommended by this well travelled group.

- Sheila Jacobs, from Toronto, Ontario 24 May 2011

Rob & Gillian are the consumate hosts - welcoming, warm and very informed about the area. Our recent "Girls" weekend away was made so much better by staying at Loyalist Landing, enjoying superb breakfasts and exploring this lovely region. Thank you! Highly recommend this B&B to other groups or couples looking for time away in a beautiful home setting.
