Directions

Go directly to our web page for directions: http://www.theabbey.ca/The_Abbey/Directions.html By Car from Toronto: From the 401, take Exit 814. Travel north through Lancaster to 5th concession. Turn right onto County Road 18 (the King's Highway). Travel east through North Lancaster to 3rd Line Road. Turn left (crucifix corner and sign to Glen Nevis) and travel north for 2.5 km. Once in the village of Glen Nevis, turn left at the church (Butternut Lane). On your right you will see St. Margaret's of Scotland church, then the Rectory. The Abbey is the next building. By Car from Montreal: From the 401, take Exit 825 (Fourth Line Road). Travel north to 5th concession. Turn left onto County Road 18 (the King's Highway). Travel west to 3rd Line Road. (see above) By Car from Ottawa: From the 417, take Exit 35 and travel south on Hwy 34 to Alexandria. Continue through Alexandria on Hwy 34 to 9th concession (approx. 5 km from Alexandria town centre). Turn left onto 9th concession and travel east through Glen Norman to 3rd Line Road. Turn right (sign for Glen Nevis) and travel south for 4 km. Once in the village of Glen Nevis, turn right at the church (Butternut Lane).
