What else can I add to the previous reviews - they have said it all.

Myself, wife and teenage daughter had the use of the entire upstairs area with two bedrooms, sitting area and bathroom for our two nights stay whilst travelling between Toronto and Ottawa.

Diane helped us with loads of information, and offered us the use of their annual Sandbanks pass which we took advantage of to have a fantastic day down at the beach.

Breakfasts were excellent with freshly prepared fruit/smoothies, omelettes and bacon one morning and sweet and savoury crepes the next. Also gave us plenty of advice on local restaurants.

Cannot praise this establishment and hosts highly enough - it's just a pity we may not be able to enjoy staying here again. However, if we do revisit the area, it will be our first choice of accommodation.

Thanks you Diane and Michael.

Rachel and Diane, from Montréal August 2015 This was our second stay at « Nine Gables». Diane and Michael were very welcoming hosts, like before. We were four friends and we stayed in the upstairs bedrooms. We had the use of the fridge to keep a few things, and we could also use the living room in the evening. The breakfast was very good. For 4 years now , we have been going to Picton to go to the beach of Sandbanks Provincial Park. We tried three Bed and Breakfast in Picton and came for the second time to the Nine Gables. We stayed two nights. We will definitely come back here and recommend it to our friends and family.

A memorable stay at Nine Gables! We stayed in Le Petite Trianon suite. It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The room and common areas provide period charm with upscale amenities. In addition to a well appointed room guests have easy access to the fridge, wine glasses and any needed extras. Diane's breakfasts are second to none. You won't need lunch. Loads of information is provided regarding area restaurants, tours and attractions. We highly recommend Nine Gables for your stay in Prince Edward County. We will definitely be returning.

Diane and Michael were very welcoming hosts at this lovely extended property with excellent, spacious public rooms. It is very central on PEC and Picton, just a short ride from The Ferry which is a must if travelling from Kingston on the Loyalist Highway. It’s free too. Unfortunately, we could only stay one night but will come for a week next time. The Le Petit Trianon Suite is a beautiful room. Space for more than the two of us. Diane served an excellent breakfast, was very chatty and helpful. What more could you ask? Thank you for sharing your house with us.

This is a beautiful and well appointed property. Mike and Diane are wonderful hosts who will go out of their way to help you make the most of your stay in their home and to explore all that Prince Edward County has to offer. The home has been expertly renovated to provide a perfect blend of Victorian ambience and modern conveniences. We stayed in the lovely and large Le Petit Trianon suite. As a guest you are welcomed the use of the home's main floor which includes a sunroom, sitting room with TV, refrigerator and freezer as well as the lovely garden area. We highly recommend you choose Nine Gables for your stay in the Picton area. We will definitely be returning.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Nine Gables. Mike & Diane are friendly, informative, excellent hosts. We stayed in Le Petit Trianon - the King suite. It was private, beautiful, & spotlessly clean. The breakfasts looked like photos from a brilliantly written cookbook, and they tasted even better than they looked. We recommend this B & B unconditionally. We would rate them 10/10.

This is your home away from home. Look no further! And Diane will be your chef and tour guide. Perfect.

This lovingly restored and decorated B&B is the perfect location to bike, hike and day trip to all the wonderful attractions in Prince Edward County, not far from Toronto. Our home away from home for 3 nights was so comfortable, it was hard to leave. Our group from Collingwood celebrated with a limo winery tour, bike ride along the old rail line to Bloomfield and a patio lunch overlooking Lake of the Mountain and the ferry to Kingston. Each evening we enjoyed sitting in the garden with pond and sunroom. We did not do all the things on our list…so we have to come back! We are still talking about our great trip! Made perfect by our wonderful hosts!

The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful in planning our days. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Diane and Michael.

We have stayed in a lot of bed and breakfast locations in the past few years all around Canada. We found that the Nine Gables is a very nice place to stay. You will not be disappointed. The food was excellent and the accommodations were very nicely done. Diane and Michael were very gracious hosts. There home was a delight to be in.

- Dan and Cathy Reynolds, from Pickering Ontario 5 September 2010

What a lovely spot. Gracious hosts, scrumptious food, beautiful garden decor, comfy beds. We were 3 old friends from 3 cities meeting for a quick reunion. We sat chatting in the comfort of the living room till the wee hours of the morning and didn't need to worry about bothering anyone. It would have been marvelous to stay a little longer...

- Melanie Mann Pollon, from Seattle, WA 31 August 2010

We had two wonderful nights at Nine Gables. Diane,Michael and Diane's mum were great hosts. The house is just beautiful and the food delicious. Not to mention the afternoon snacks ! There were three of us and we had the two suits upstairs plus use of the lovely lounge and sun room downstairs. We were truly spoiled. We would definitely recommend Nine Gables and hope to go back.

- Jon and Christine Eldridge, from Mississauga 12 August 2010

Diane took a lot of time and care to decorate the most beautiful rooms. We felt very comfortable all the time we were there, just like we were in our own home. The food was fabulous and I dare anyone to try to finish the delicious breakfast. Located close to everything but in a quiet neighbourhood, we had the relaxing holiday we were looking for. After 23 years in the travel industry my opinion is this B&B is a winner. We wish Diane and Mike every success. We will definitely be going back. Margaret & Robert

My husband and I have been to many bed and breakfasts throughout Ontario and Ireland and we have to say how wonderful our stay was at Nine Gables. So much care and attention was put into the design of our room which included a spacious sitting area and our own private entrance. The king size bed was oh so comfortable! Spending time in their peaceful garden really gave you a feel of summer life in Picton. Our hosts, Diane and Michael, were so gracious and accommodating to our needs (including our late arrival). We truly were fortunate to have stayed at the Nine Gables and will be returning.

- Rita Chimienti and Ed Mahony, from Hamilton, Ontario 8 July 2010

A B & B you will thoroughly enjoy! The moment I walked in I knew I had made the right choice. Diane and Mike welcome you with warmth, and offer you knowledge about all there is to see and do in the county. The gardens are beautiful with the serenity of waterfall and can be enjoyed from within the private sun room or outside under the shade of the pergola. The master suite is pure luxury, with privacy and, comfort. This B& B is immaculate. The scrumptious and generous breakfast starts you on your way for a fabulous day in an area that offers so much to do. Thank you Mike and Diane. I can't wait to return and continue to explore this fabulous area.
