One of my 2 favorite places in the Okanagan on my solo vacation in July 2014. I stayed 3 nights in the cabin and felt like a queen of my own little castle kingdom and deck. Clean, rustic, beautiful and very comfortable. Nice small bathroom with shower and the adequately-equipped kitchen with mini-fridge and dual electric burners allows one to cook for themselves. The barbeque and fire-pit areas are natural gathering places. The hours we and other visitors sat, visited and laughed under the canopy of the double tables! Enough to make a person need an afternoon nap! With the tee pee and house also available, there's something for everybody....but you have to love nature! I LOVED having the grazing (and quiet) sheep outside my cabin window and the chickens clucking and scratching with their peeping chicks just up the way; and exploring the property with its many fruit trees and garden (as well as a wood-fired pizza under a canopy of grape vines). The echoey woof-woofs of the 2 big sheep dogs accompanying Rheudy and his walking stick in their morning forest walks to clear away sheep or chicken hunters and the perfume of evergreen mountainside leaves one wondering if you just may be in Switzerland! But in reality Sicamous is less than a 5 minute drive away. How's that for convenient? Camping without going camping and wonderful hosts to boot! Highly recommend and hope to return myself again.

Wonderful final night of end-of-summer road trip spent at Bieri's Paradise, in their recently built log cabin. Perfect for 2 people and private! Woke up to be greeted by healthy and happy sheep, llama, chickens, and dogs, plus an amazing homemade breakfast made to accommodate my vegan husband. Swiss mementos. Adorable property with a variety of accommodations. Owners Vreny and Ruedi warm and welcoming. Perfect stay off the beaten path half-way between Calgary and Vancouver.
