This was a lovely place to stay. Ann is a very welcoming and attentive host and her breakfasts are fabulous. The room was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

It was a great find! The room was everything one could expect, and the breakfasts were not only delicious, they were beautifully presented. The hosts were perfectly pleasant and helpful. The location was very convenient to the town. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the deck outside the room.

We stayed at Dogwood B&B for 5 days and we liked the place very much - the house is in a very quiet neighbourhood, the room was spacious and very clean, breakfasts were great ( and different every morning ) also, Ann and Don were excellent hosts. Everything we needed for a good and relaxing vacation. We'd definitely come back next time we travel to the Okanagan.

- Lala, from Richmond, Canada 6 August 2013

Having previously lived in the UK we are used to staying in B&B's, but Ann & Dons Dogwood is still one of the most impressive we've seen. Ann & Don renovated their home 6 yrs ago to turn it into a B&B. We stayed in the lower suite ( Quail's Landing ). It was very large with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a small fridge and tea & coffee facilities. There are also beach towels for if you choose to swim in Okanagan Lake.

Ann's breakfast is one of the best that I have had in a very long time. We stayed for 3 nights and received a different amazing breakfast each morning. Ann also gave us some great ideas for things to do and places to eat around the Okanagan. This was our first visit to the region and Summerland provided a great base for day trips to Kelowna and Penticton. I highly recommend Dogwood B&B.

My husband and I were visiting family in Summerland and stayed here for 3 nights. This B&B was amazing. It is more like a hotel room than a B&B which was perfect. The room has it's own private full 4 pc bathroom, and you enter the suite from the outside. So when we got in late each night we weren't disturbing anyone. The rooms were big, clean and had free wifi. Plus the breakfast each morning was huge and absolutely delicious. The owners Ann & Don were helpful and really great people. We really enjoyed staying here and we will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Summerland.

Close enough to town but also in a nice rural setting! - have stayed here before and definitely again whenever the situation arises. Don and Ann are very likeable hosts!

- Erna, from Kamloops, Canada 15 July 2013

The hosts, Ann and Don, were so welcoming to their guests. The room was spacious and well presented. The location was a short walk to the township and it was easy to join the vineyard tail of the area. The lake and parkland were a short drive away. Ann's breakfasts were delicious. Overall, excellent value.

- Joan & Chris, from Leichhardt, Australia 6 September 2012

We stayed here for 2 nights and were absolutely delighted with the accommodation which is a newly built extension to the owner's house. Both suites have a private entrance and deck with chairs - we were travelling as 2 couples and were provided with extra chairs for one deck so we could all sit outside in the evening and sample the lovely Okanagan wine together. Inside the rooms are light, airy, spacious and modern with extras such as a fridge and coffee machine. The owners, Don and Ann, were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. Ann's breakfasts were truly legendary, and their advice on what to do and where to go was extremely helpful. We renamed Summerland 'Slumberland' as the whole town seems to close down about 5pm (on Sunday's) and the streets are deserted. There wasn't a lot of choice of decent places to go for an evening meal but if you've got a car you can venture further afield. Although quiet it is a good centre for that end of the Okanagan and there are plenty of places to visit if you use it as a base. I would thoroughly recommend Dogwood B&B to anybody - five star in every way.

July 2011 - We stayed two nights in Quail's Landing Suite. We found it to be immaculately clean and very comfortable. The room was spacious and accommodated three of us very well (my daughter slept on a cot). We slept very well since it is located in a very quiet part of Summerland well away from traffic. Breakfasts were delicious and beautifully presented - - lovely fresh fruit cups with yoghurt and melt-in-your-mouth muffins right out of the oven. Ann and Don make you feel like you are visiting old friends and engage in cheerful conversation as they serve you breakfast. They are also very helpful in recommending sights to see and events to attend in the area. I would not hesitate to recommend the Dogwood Bed & Breakfast to any traveller.

In the heart of the vineyards, hides Summerlands best kept secret. Neat, tidy and charming, with all of your needs provided for. Can't wait to go back!

- Lila, from Alberta, Canada 10 August 2010

A beautiful sanctuary which is spotless, quiet and refreshing. The Davies' are a warm and geneorous couple who made our stay very enjoyable, yet private. Delicious food and a great location. A wine lovers haven!

- Adam and Krysaly, from Calgary, AB 10 August 2010
