Great stay once again Gord. Coffee was ready at 4:30am and the free shuttle to the airport was fine. The bassinet came in handy for our new baby and the take-out menu from your restaurant on Main Street (Cafe on Main) was great. The food was excellent. We had the Turkey Veggie soup and wings. Wow, awesome homemade soup and the batter for the wings was probably the best I have tasted (I live in Toronto too) Thanks once again, Chris, Laura and Katelyn.

Whenever I overnite in Deer Lake Area; I stay at Birds Nest B&B and I recommend it to all my friends who are travelling; It is the best of the best. It is your home away from home.

Bird's Nest provides the most accomodating and comfortable surroundings you'll ever need when travelling. As with other travellers I was met at the airport in the wee hours of the morning, given the opportunity to 'park and ride' with leaving my car in their home 'guest parking lot' and have no worries about digging it out from under a mountain of snow upon my return. Gord very obligingly dropped me off at the airport at 4:30 am to be in time for check-in. Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room with everything needed for a quiet wake-me-up so early in the day.

We spent three separate nights here in June 2010, as we traveled around Newfoundland. Gordon, Judy Ann and Denise were the most accommodating hosts. It is unbelievable in this day and age to be treated so warmly and generously. Especially the 5:10 a.m. run to the airport, above and beyond the call of duty! Our room was spotless and very comfortable. We will highly recommend them and their B&B to everyone going to Deer Lake,NL.

We spent one night here in June 2010. We were met at the bus stop (from St. John's) and later driven to the airport to get our rental car, this service was offered and we were very grateful. The room was wonderful, extra areas in the house available to guests were large and welcoming. No hesitation in recommending this B&B.

We got to spend two nights at the Bird's Nest B&B. It is a top notch facility with the most accommodating and welcoming staff. A 10+++ out of 10 for these folks! Thanks
