We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It is well run, spotlessly clean and our hosts were marvellous. Breakfast was also great and plentiful. In fact so plentiful I had to request smaller portions. It was recommended by our hosts ahead of our stay, that if interested we should pre book the show called Anchors Aweigh. So glad we did - it was a fun way to spend an evening and without the recommendation we may not have had the opportunity to see it. Thanks so much to you both.

Wa had a most enjoyable stay at Diane's and Peter's place. They were perfect hosts. What we liked best was Diane's daily cooking, for which we could have easily stayed for some more days. The location is wonderful.

Candlelight is surely the number one b and b in Rocky Harbour. Dianne and Pete are fantastic hosts and make you feel very welcome. The b nd b is very spacious as are the rooms. Choice of breakfast is fantastic as well as Dianne's home made buns. Perfect location makes Candlelight the ideal stay in Rocky Harbour. You will not be disappointed.

What an amazing stay. You arrive as guests and leave as friends. Peter and Dianne were very welcoming and friendly. Full of information about Rocky Harbour and Gros Morne. Enjoyed our chats over breakfast when planning our daily adventures. The restaurants and menu advice were perfect. We were able to enjoy some of the best food that the island had to offer. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable and the sunsets from the back yard were so beautiful. Thanks for an awesome vacation

Look no further if you are staying in Rocky Harbour or touring Gros Morne. Candlelight is fantastic and has everything you need. Spotless, good meals, fantastic hosts and central location. Perfect!

Great hosts! Fantastic breakfasts(many to choose from as well as breakfast times)! Spotless and spacious rooms! The best fresh biscuits available to us throughout the day)! Comfy beds! Knowledge of area highlights! Made our stay in such a beautiful part of our country that much better!

We stayed two nights at the Candlelight. Diane and Peter were great hosts. Beautiful room, very good breakfast. We chose the menu we wanted between several choices. They gave us good hints on the hiking trails and restaurants. We would certainly reserve again and recommend the b&b.

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at the Candlelight for 2 nights: June 27 and 28. Peter and Diane were amazing hosts, making us feel comfortable from the time we walked into the door to the time we left. The room was amazing. The window was open when we entered the room and such a beautiful breeze came flowing in. The breakfasts were so wonderful. We could order from a list of several breakfasts items and then they were prepared at the appointed time. We were directed to several restaurants and points of interest in the Rocky Harbor area and even up to the Provincial Arches and Cow Head and of course to the Western Brook boat trip. Thank you Peter and Diane for your hospitality, your sharing of the knowledge of the area, and also for your conversation with us and the other folks staying there. It was just splendid. We couldn't have asked for more.

Thank you Diane and Pete for making our stay memorable! We appreciate the warmth of your hospitality, the delicious breakfasts (substantial, too), the clean and very comfortable rooms, and your sincere smiles every time we saw you. The rooms are spacious and have very comfortable beds, and we liked also the fact that we had a small fridge and a table and chairs to have a snack. In addition, we enjoy having the freedom to use the community kitchen to make ourselves tea/coffee throughout the day and evening, and where we met many wonderful people who shared tidbits of information. Special thanks for baking every afternoon fresh chocolate chip mini scones! Nice touch! Would love to come back and stay a bit longer! Would highly recommend your B&B.

Lovely B & B with a beautiful location in Rocky Harbour. We spent one night here after driving up from St John's on route to L'ance aux Meadows. Comfortable rooms and yummy breakfast with lots of options. Rocky Harbour is small enough that we could walk to the suggested restaurants--nice after a long drive. The hosts are very knowledgeable and gave us a great suggestion for a short hike that would allow us a taste of Gros Morn before we headed north!

- Emma, from St John's NL 3 June 2015

Diane & Peter, both are great hosts and I will miss their hospitality...They gave me a really warm "NL" welcome, so I feel really at home. Quiet place in Rocky Harbour near the ocean and the nature. I can just say... a comfortable stay. Thanks and take care !!
