morning coffee

You know how it is when you wake up in the morning and you really want that cup of coffee but no one is awake yet? Well, stroll out into the kitchen and there will be a fresh pot of coffee on usually around 7:00 AM. Yes, you can come out in your pajamas for that first cup, many do. You can take it back to your room, sit in the kitchen and catch up on the morning news on your iPad, or better yet, take a stroll out to the backyard and listen to the morning sounds of the ocean coming alive as the tide comes in.

It's Breakfast Time

Our breakfasts consist of a choice of one of our five options: A generous helping of pancakes that you can slather with real butter, real maple syrup, homemade partridgeberry syrup and some wild blueberries. Three thick cut pieces of french toast with the same toppings as the pancakes, or you can even add some cinnamon. You can also add an order of our thick cut bacon to the above orders. Of course we also serve the mighty eggs, pan fried potatoes with Peters' special seasoning, thick cut bacon, and toast. If you would rather start your day with some stick to the ribs homemade oatmeal, we can add raisin, cranberries and you can smother it in some partridgeberry syrup and wild blueberries if you wish. Last, but not least, we also have a variety of cold cereals that you could have with raisins, cranberries and wild blueberries, also toast if you'd like. We offer a wide selection to each guest because some people are sweet, some are savoury, and who are we to tell you what you want for breakfast. You choose one of the above, we'll cook it for you and even clean up the mess while you play! In our kitchen, we enjoy feeding people, watching them enjoy the flavours, and listening to the breakfast chatter. We smile when everyone is having a great time and their bellies are filling up. *NOTE: The saying for all of Newfoundland is... '10 days, 10 pounds' As long as you're ok with that, we're ok with that. You'll never leave our table hungry, we promise you that.
