We were two couples who stayed here for one night on June 5, 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this lovely home, in a great location, and particularly enjoyed the best breakfast ever! We are already planning to come back next year.

- Arlene, from Kitchener 8 June 2018

We had the pleasure of staying two nights at Mettawas End at the end of April 2017 and were extremely pleased with the accommodations. This was our first experience with a B&B, and the owners; Roland and Megan, made this a memorable weekend. For a 'small' fee, Roland hosted a wine and cheese pairing for the four of us, which was quite informative and entertaining!! We would definitely recommend this B&B. The breakfasts were amazing - French flair all the way - Thanks Roland!!

My wife and I enjoyed our recent two-night stay at this B&B. We found the service was excellent, breakfasts were superb and the aesthetics of the home was very welcoming, thanks to Roland. He even allowed us to leave our car on the property while we took a day trip to Pelee Island. We will return.

- Tom and Jo Kahnert, from Ilderton, ON 21 August 2016

My spouse and I stayed at Mettawas End b&b to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. The house was spacious, charming, and quaint. Roland is a magnificent host and served amazing breakfasts each morning. We stayed in the Walker room, which had all the conveniences a visitor could ask for. One of the best perks of this b&b is location; close to the beautiful Lakeshore Park, excellent restaurants in Kingsville’s downtown, and a five minute drive to the Pelee Island Winery.

- James Parker, from Lansing, MI, USA 30 May 2016

We truly had a remarkable time at this beautiful home. We stayed in the Walker Room which was built for royality. Beautiful with an amazing roof top terrace. The home offers amazing amenities. Roland had amazing communication and was fantastic in accommodating our every need. We could not have asked for a better stay-cation. We were offered a ton of privacy, great food, a beautiful home - the works. We could not recommend this place with more enthusiasm and praise!!

- Justine and Stephen, 23 April 2015

Mettawas End B&B is absolute perfection! The rooms and facilities are great and the multi-course breakfast was amazing. Roland is such a great host and wonderful cook that we cannot imagine staying anywhere else in the area.

- Kevin & Deborah Faulds, from Port Credit, Ontario 10 September 2014

Mettawas End was beautiful and charming. We loved the atmosphere and the personal touches all around the house. Roland is an amazing chef and the breakfasts were outstanding. We will recommend Mettawas to all of our friends.

- Mary and Kevin Webb, from Whitefish, Ontario 19 August 2013

Utterly charming! Come hungry as Roland wants to feed you his famous 4 course breakfast. Every morning it was as much as feast for the eyes as it was for my stomach. You do not need lunch after this breakfast!

The house is quiet and peaceful, luxurious with the ensuite Jacuzzi tub which really took all my tension away. Can't recommend it more highly. It was walking distance to a few restaurants and across from the beach, so pretty perfect!

- Patti, from Toronto 18 April 2013

Just returned from a 2-night stay in this beautiful, historic home with many interesting items of decor. Roland is a very friendly, welcoming host. Our room and ensuite bathroom were beautiful, with every convenience possible. Breakfasts were AMAZING--very tasty, beautifully presented, and included "dessert"!! We would love to return!

- Brian & Lois, from Kitchener, Ontario 18 February 2013

What a wonderful place to stay! The accommodations were beyond beautiful and the breakfast was by far the best we have ever had. Roland accomodated my husband's dietary needs and it was very much appreciated. We would love to return in the near future.

- Lorna & Rick, from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada 17 July 2012

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary at Mettawas End, B&B in Kingsville. Roland and Megan are exceptional hosts, the accommodations were well presented and the breakfasts were superb! We look forward to returning soon!

- Tina and Patrick Peel, from London, Ontario 1 July 2012

What a wonderful delight! We were in the area for a wedding, but I'm already trying to think of a reason to return. Our room (The Walker) was clean and spacious; very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and hospitality was genuine. You really don't want to past this one.

- Pam Tellier, from Toronto Canada 25 June 2012

We have just returned from a wonderful stay with Megan and Roland. We had come from England to birdwatch at Point Pelee, an experience which was made all the better by our stay at Mettawas End Their charming house is extremely clean, warm and comfortable, our bedroom and en-suite bathroom was luxurious, they had thought of every little detail to make our stay perfect. Roland's breakfasts are amazing, healthy and filling enough to last all day. We never had the same breakfast during our whole stay, delightful. We were quite sad to leave at the end of our stay, they both made us feel so very welcome and at home in their lovely house.

- John and Beverley Beaumont, from Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England 28 May 2011

My husband and I couldn't have been more delighted with our time at Mettawas End. It was my first trip to Canada, and Roland was more than happy to help us figure out what to see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the charming setting, the cozy room, and the choice of outdoor hot tub, jacuzzi bath tup, sauna or fireplace to warm up! I have to admit one of my favorite parts was the breakfast each morning that was nothing short of gourmet! I don't think you could find a more enjoyable place to stay with more hospitable hosts!

- The Woods', from Michigan 10 January 2011

Un grand MERCI à nos charmants hôtes qui nous ont reçu à la perfection !! Disponible et gentils, les petits déjeuners étaient parfait et copieux. La maison est très jolie et très bien fleurie et nous ne manquerons pas de revenir ! Amicalement, Bruno & Nicolas

- Bruno & Nicolas, from Nice, FRANCE 23 October 2010

We chose Mettawas End because it was close to the Ferry dock, but would go back for many reasons other than the location. If we had the trip to do over again, we would spend two nights at your place, rather than only one. Our day on the island was fun, but we longed for the comforts of Mettawas End the night we stayed on the island. Roland & Megan's home has a wonderful atmosphere with nice views of lake Erie. The breakfast was fantastic - really superior to most B & B's (much be that French influence!) You will not be disappointed.

Thank you so much for your hospitality. It was a joy to spend part of our vacation at your B & B and we will definitely recommend your place to our friends & relatives thinking of visiting Pelee Island and the national park.

- Heidi & Bob, from Kingston, Ontario 19 September 2010

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful weekend at Mettawas End. Roland and Megan are wonderful hosts and make you feel right at home. Roland's breakfasts are FANTASTIC! Large portions and enough food to keep you going all day. It was great to have such a good, healthy breakfast before heading out hiking for the day.

The bed was so comfortable. We slept like a baby. It was so nice to wake up to the sounds of the birds chirpping. Now we need to buy a new mattress. :))

You are within walking distance of King's Landing Restaurant. A great place for lunch or dinner. The pickrel is mouth-watering and for those who like liver, the best I have ever had - melted in your mouth.

We are already planning a return trip. Can't wait. Thank you Roland & Megan for a restful, relaxing weekend. It was just what we needed.

- Gary & Kathy, from Courtice, Ontario 18 May 2010

Roland was accommodating for my late arrival from Pelee Island. His breakfast was amazing - great coffee, delicious fruit and an assortment of goodies! Highly recommend this establishment.

- Rose Mary Benvie, from Staten Island, New York 20 September 2009

What a lovely three nights spent at Mettawas End, during Pt. Pelee's Spring Festival of Birds. Roland and Megan were gracious hosts, the breakfasts were truly superb (even at 6am for we four adventurous birders) affairs. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. Thank you for a fantastic place to stay. We will be back.

- Pat and Robyn Russell, from Ajax, ON 1 September 2009

We stayed for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The breakfasts were fantastic, Roland and Megan were very friendly, the house was impecable and we were less than 1 KM from the ferry dock to Pelee Island. We would strongly recommend the Mettawas End to anyone looking for a place neat Pelee Island or Windsor.

- Anonymous, from Oshawa, Ontario 15 July 2009

We spent a weekend at Mettawas End and it was fantastic! It is close to many wineries and Point Pelee National Park. Roland was very friendly and helpful when it came to recommendations. The breakfasts were superb, the room was cozy and the bathroom (including sauna) was very modern. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

- Amanda, from Kitchener, Canada 20 May 2009

My husband and I just spent three nights at the Mettawas and it was wonderful--very neat and clean. The host and hostess were so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast's were out of this world and very filling. This is a small town with lots of history; a great place to rest and relax.

- Virginia Chapman, from Powell, Ohio 2 August 2008
