2014-Sept 13&14. We enjoyed two nights of Sharon & Marty's hospitality. Our suite was spotless and we slept well. Devilled eggs, homemade bread, smoked salmon - these were some of the treats we enjoyed with the more traditional breakfast foods of cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. . They were very helpful with directions for places to see and visit while in Port Hardy. We highly recommend a stay at First Choice B&B!

Our stay at the First Choice B&B was very pleasant and far exceeded our expectations. The days started with a sumptuous breakfast consisting of delicious smoked salmon, cheese, fruit, home-baked bread, muffins, and/or pastries, fruit - too much to eat! The accommodations were very comfortable, relaxing, and private. The proprietors, Marty and Sharon, made our stay even more memorable. Besides taking us on several hikes and showing us the attractions of Port Hardy, they spent time outlining other various activities for us to do during our stay. Their hospitality was further exemplified by inviting us to share dinner with them as well as partake in a family cookout. Can't say enough about our stay at the First Choice B&B and how it made our visit to Port Hardy a very rewarding and positive experience.

We enjoyed the spacious room with en suite bath, comfy bed, and breakfast with smoked salmon and home baking, but most of all we appreciated being picked up and dropped off at the ferry and bus terminals, as we had late arrivals from and early departures on both. Host Marty could not have been more helpful, hospitable, and friendly.

I can't speak highly enough of this place - Marty and Sharon are great hosts who really make you feel at home. They are so welcoming and friendly, made us delicious breakfasts with home-baked bread and muffins, and made our stay really great. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone coming to North Vancouver Island.

My partner and I really had a good stay at Marty's house in July. He was very helpful and constantly considerate of our needs such as offering us a ride to the beach and even to the ferry terminal early in the morning! We felt relaxed in his comfy home and also enjoyed his hearty homemade breakfast. This was indeed a memorable BnB stay for us and we're thankful for his service that comes from the heart! We highly recommend his home to you!

Yes! After the ferry from Bella Coola, last September, it was a pleasure to stay at First Choice. A warm welcome, a spacious room, good beds and a good breakfast.

Extremely comfortable stay and can highly recommend. Given a very tasty 'picnic' breakfast to eat on the ferry to Prince Rupert. Enjoyed the game of Upword too! Great hosts.
