Description
  • The original house was built by Benjamin Tanner in 1860. In 1862 it was purchased by George Westhaver who owned the block & tackle factory across the street.The workmen in his oar factory had the skill to create the spindle & curves for his eye catching
  • verandah upon which today our guests relax & enjoy , on white wicker chairs , spectacular views of
  • the town gazebo, the Ocean and the Three Churches .The interior of this gracious home is antique filled and showcases Patricia's exceptional collection of blue and white china . Original oil paintings , elegant chests , a family tallcase clock (c.1790 )
  • & a wonderful collection of sepia & white family photographs are only a few of the treasures within .
  • Full delicious breakfasts are served in our elegant dining room .
  • Upstairs in our 'Mahone Bay Bump' enjoy cards , chess , backgammon ,DVD and book selection complete with arm chairs and a comfy oversized white sofa .
  • Our house is considered the centre of this charming seaside town.From here you can walk to restaurants , galleries , shoppes , cafes , kayaking , bike rentals , hiking trails etc.. $95.00 to $135.00 low to high season.

Policies

Check In/Check Out : 'Check In' is Between Three and Five PM otherwise by Special Arrangement...'Check Out' is 10 AM but a Later Time or Day Use of Your Room can be arranged.
Cancellation : 96 hours notice is required. Early departures fall under the cancelation policy.
Seasonal Information : Only 40 minutes from Halifax.Charming small town atmosphere!

Exit *10 off *103 , follow 'Lighthouse Route',pass by 'The Three Churches',turnleft at the War Memorial still on 'LR' & there we are, across from the Bandstand.
