• A chalet-style cottage, perched on a hill, overlooking the picturesque Clyde River, in the midst of the Lanark Highlands - an absolutely beautiful unspoiled piece of Canada, right on the rugged Canadian Shield.
• The guest suite, with its own private patio and private entrance, includes a Queen-size bed, a private sitting room with a cozy wood stove and an extensive video/DVD collection, and a private ensuite bathroom.
• Breakfast consists of a sumptuous meal ranging from Eggs Benedict, Whole Wheat pancakes (with our own home-made Clyde River Retreat Maple Syrup), a variety of omelets, etc. - prepared to accommodate your special dietary needs.
• There’s an excellent swimming hole, a canoe and kayak that we offer to our guests free of charge, great birding opportunities, and a dark sky for incredible stargazing.
• Trails for walking, cross-country skiing or snowshoeing crisscross the 17-acre woodland retreat.
• Stay 7 nights and pay for only 6. Stay 5 or 6 nights and receive a 10% discount. Stay 3 or 4 nights and take home a jar of Clyde River Retreat Maple Syrup.

Cancellation : We have a two-week (14-day) cancellation policy. If guests cancel with less than 14 days notice, they will be charged for one night's stay.
