Northern Ontario (Region 7)

Northern Ontario presents visitors with a variety of outdoor activities. Take a ride on the Polar Bear Express, then visit the Polar Bear Provincial Park. Go underground and explore the earth with the Gold Mine Tour. Paddle a canoe along the rivers and remote lakes, which also offer excellent fishing opportunities. Its many attractions include attractions include Husky the Muskie and the Heritage Townscape Murals in Kenora, the Railway Museum in Rainy River, Max the Moose in Dryden, and a monument of unique and famous Norseman bush planes in Red Lake. Be sure to check out the ancient native petroglyphs on granite rock faces along certain lakes.
