The British Columbia Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers Guild (formerly the Western Canada Bed & Breakfast Innkeepers Association) was founded in 1993 to create greater recognition of Bed & Breakfasts as a preferred accommodation choice within the hospitality industry. Our mandate includes a Quality Assurance Inspection Program for guest facilities, safety and security, cleanliness and housekeeping, food preparation, service and outstanding hospitality. We are proud of the quality of our
member establishments.

Our members are located throughout British Columbia, from the Rocky
Mountains and their world famous national parks to B.C.'s award-winning
wine region, the Okanagan Valley, and at North America's premier
ski resort, Whistler/Blackcomb; on the Sunshine Coast where Desolation
Sound offers superb boating activities and via the Coast Circle Tour on
B.C. Ferries across to Vancouver Island where member B&Bs in friendly
rural communities stretch up and down the East Coast to the southwestern
tip at Sooke; from salmon capital Campbell River, through Oceanside,
diving at Nanaimo, B.C.'s newest wine region in the Cowichan Valley, and
of course, Victoria.

It is said Victoria is more British than the British; afternoon tea at
the Empress, the Royal B.C. Museum, and the world-famous Butchart
Gardens, celebrating its centennial in 2004. The Coast Circle Tour
completes through the Gulf Islands back to the mainland; B.C.'s
breadbasket the Fraser Valley and the resort of Harrison Hot Springs,
and of course, Greater Vancouver.

Vancouver, host city for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, where you can
ski in the morning and sail in the afternoon; multi-cultural, dynamic,
Stanley Park, North Shore mountains, miles of waterfront walkways and
member B&Bs also in the surroundings communities that make up this great
metropolitan center.
