In the Winter, enjoy the wonderful snow that blankets the region. You will actually like Winter, and look forward to fresh snowfalls! Several alpine/boarding or cross-country ski centres are minutes away from most BBOH B&Bs. Snowshoeing, skating, snowmobiling and ice fishing are also popular outdoor winter activities in Huronia. After a day in the outdoors, return to your B&B to relax by a warm fireplace or in a hot-tub.

Spring-time brings wildflowers and birds to Huronia. The hiking season begins, with lots of trails to choose from, including the Ganaraska Hiking Trail, TransCanada Trail, and several rail trails. Huronia is well-known for its premium maple syrup, so come here to see sugar bushes in operation.

There are is an abundance of things to do in the Summer in Huronia. Outdoor recreation adventures are close by, including mountain biking, hiking, boat cruises, swimming, fishing, bicycling, golfing, berry-picking, or just relaxing in the fresh air and sun. Huronia is busy with numerous festivals, live theatre and craft shows during the summer, and there is something special going on every weekend in every part of the region throughout the summer. Huronia's rich heritage is on display in the many museums.

The Fall colours are spectacular in Huronia. Go for a walk in any of the many beautiful and natural forests. Enjoy the fresh harvests and bakings at Farmers Markets throughout the area. There is a country fall fair happening somewhere in the region every weekend of autumn.

Huronia has excellent restaurants, whether you are interested in fine dining, casual fine dining, home-style food, or a quick bite to eat. All that activity works up a good appetite! Your B&B hosts would be pleased to recommend something to satisfy your hunger.
