Alberta's North

Autumn
scenery north of Kakwa Falls
|
Alberta's
North is a nature lover's paradise: lush forests, glass-smooth
lakes, and miles of hidden, tranquil woodland trails. Pack your
camping/ hiking gear and prepare to spend an enjoyable outing in
the picturesque back country.
This northern
region is rich in history, especially that of the First Nation people.
Visit the Debolt and district Pioneer Museum, Fort Assiniboine Museum,
Native Cultural Arts Museum, Battle River Pioneer Museum, and other
historical tributes and collections. The Lac Cardinal Pioneer Village
and Historic Dunvegan Bridge are ongoing monuments to northern Alberta's
past.
If you need
help planning an outing, or would like suggestions as to what to
see and do while here, ask your ABBA Bed and Breakfast host.
