Nick and Sue have moved on and have left the Inn with a delightful young couple whose service is beyond compare. When you're traveling, there is always some little thing you forgot or need and they were always immediately ready to help. The Inn is quiet and clean, and if you like to take an evening or early morning walk in a pollution free environment, the location is perfect. Breakfasts are healthy and full: for ten days, I went the whole day on the one meal. On top of all that, if you compare prices online, you will find the O'Hara Inn to be the most economical in the whole of the Toronto area and suburbs. Even if something were to show up that is a few dollars cheaper, I wouldn't trade the O'Hara Inn for it.

Hello again Nick and Sue and anyone considering staying at the O'Hara Inn. Lynn and I were married back in June of this year and our problem was to accommodate a large number of out of town guests for the wedding. Nick and Sue came to the rescue. We look back and consider that time to be right up there as a highlight of the wedding, because it was a family reunion as well.

Before leaving Markham to move to British Columbia to live we again stayed at the O'Hara Inn which marked the beginning of our honeymoon. What better place to begin our journey. Our fairwells were as if we were leaving behind our best friends. Thanks for taking such good care of us Nick and Sue.

To anyone who has never experienced staying at a Bed and Breakfast, let your first be at Nick and Sue's. They are true ambassadors of the industry.

Regards,

Jim and Lynn Byrd

Outstanding! By far, the best vacation I've ever had -- bar none. Nick and Sue are wonderful hosts, very entertaining and hospitable. Breakfast was perfect. I've never eaten so well before.

The location is ideal, being just far enough from Toronto that you don't get the noise from busy highways. And yet, it's close enough to the major attractions that most places are only 30 minutes away.

The rooms are beautifully furnished and quiet. I think it would be more accurate to call it The O'Hara Mansion really. If I'm ever in the area again, I won't even look for another hotel/motel/inn. I'll go straight back to The O'Hara Inn. No other accommodations can top their prices, breakfast or rooms.... unless you're looking for a place that licks your shoes while wearing a three-piece suit ;).

We first found the The O'Hara Inn on the B & B site...we approached Nick and Sue about using their beautiful inn as a location for our wedding and they were very happy to accomodate us. Their home is beautiful and the guest rooms are very clean and give you a very welcoming feeling. The breakfast was fantastic and a great way to start your day. They accomodated us in every way possible and when the worst happened, rain on the wedding day they were there to help out in any way possible. They were very welcoming to our guests and we would recommend thier B & B to anyone who needed acomodations.

My experience staying with Nick and Sue was very comfortable and accomodating. I looked forward to waking up to a wonderful breakfast, and excellent hospitality. My room was bright and clean, I felt safe and comfortable. I stayed at their B&B for 6 weeks and can honestly say it was better than any hotel could ever offer. Thankyou Nick and Sue see again Mary

Just like staying with friends!!!!

Nick and Sue are very hospitable people who will bend over backwards to see that your needs are met.

This being my first experience at a B&B I was amazed at being able to eat breakfast with people from all over the world. I urge you to check them out especially if alone, you won't be disappointed. Factor all of this in with the cost to stay and well......I may never stay in another hotel room again!!!!!! Just lovely, salt of the earth people waiting to make your stay enjoyable. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

Nick and Sue are the two most welcoming people I have ever met. There home is beautiful, very clean, spacious, and warm and friendly. Sue is a wonderful cook, the full english breakfast was very good and definatly a good start to the day. I stayed there for the month of Oct. I am a student teacher from queens University and will definatly be returning for my next two practicum blocks. Their home feels like your home, and they do everything they can to make your stay wonderful, and treat you like family there like my parents away from home. So for my final words. Great home, great food, great hosts. Thank you both for all your kindness and hospitality. John Bos

We had guests from Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore flying over for our wedding, and we couldn't have picked better lodging than the O'Hara Inn for them. By the first morning, they were at all praise over the breakfast and the hospitable nature of Nick and Sue. The Suites also offered a cosy gathering, chatting area to catch up and relax. Our guests have already made known their wish to stay at the O'Hara Inn again should they visit us the next time!

This is our first time at the O'hara Inn. We stayed in the Norfolk suite. The room was very roomy and clean. Nick(the inn owner) was helpful, friendly and very acoommodating. The inn was within 10 minutes of driving to shopping and some really good restaurants. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back again.

Nick and Sue are the most welcoming hosts. Their home feels like your home, and they do everything they can to make your stay especially memorable. The home is spacious, very clean, warm and friendly and the breakfasts were scrumptious. All of our family from out of town stayed with Nick and Sue when our daughter got married in Toronto. We had the rehersal dinner at Nick and Sue's in their beautiful back garden and Sue catered the most wonderful selection of food. Great home, great food, great hosts. Thank you both for all your kindness.

We are a UK family of two adults and three children 10yrs-17yrs, staying in Canada for for the first time for two weeks during July/August. We stayed with Amy and James next door to the O'Hara Inn and breakfasted with Nick and Sue at the O'Hara Inn. We found the accommodation very comfortable, clean, spacious and appropriate to our needs. There was a wide choice of breakfasts including full English and Canadian with a wide variety of creals and fruit. We found our hosts were very pleasent, attentive, flexible, efficient and helpful. What they provided was of a high professional standard yet tailored to our individual needs. We felt very welcome and it was clear their overall aim was to do their utmost to help us have a good holiday. We had a great time.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nick and Sue (owners) are kind, warmm, and wonderful people. The breakfast was excellent with great variety to meet all needs. The room on the top floor (suffols suite) was spaceious with TV and DVD player. Nick and Sue kindly allowed us to use internet.

Guest Comment: I enjoyed my stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nick and Susan were welcoming, pleasant and helpful, so much so that I stayed in the same place on my way back to the airport in Toronto. Nice quiet upscale nieghbourhood within a 5 minute drive to shopping and main roads. I would return. I am correcting part of my comment to give the best score that I did not see at first and correct the dates. I would have stayed longer if my plans were in Toronto. I stayed in the Suffolk Suite. 3rd Floor, lots of room and light with ceiling fans, kettle and microwave too!

Overall guest score: 6 of 6 (Comment given to Lodging World. London. England).

Guest Comment: My husband and I were in Toronto coming from Rochester, NY, for my cousin's wedding, and the O'Hara Inn bed and breakfast was perfect for us. We brought our little pug with us, who also really enjoyed the stay especially because of the little park right around the corner where he could walk around. The full English breakfast was lovely, and Nick and Sue were very friendly and accommodating. Overall an excellent experience, and the next time we go up with our dog we'll definitely think of them.

Overall guest score: 6 of 6 ( Comment coming from Lodging World).
