- Laurie, from Kelowna b.c 26 February 2014

We traveled to Golden to attend my nephew's wedding up at the ski resort and only wish they had chosen to have it here at the B&B. It was a delightful place, warm and inviting, with magnificent vistas and lovely little deer wandering past the windows as we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. We were made to feel so welcome by Jeannie: she helped us plug in our car, offered us freshly baked cookies, and even carried our heavy suitcase up to our room. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute here.

- Cheryl & Arthur, from Okanagan Falls, BC 17 February 2014

This is not your average B&B. Nestled in the woods with deer and an occasional bear to add a bit of excitement. A beautiful log home with lots of room to stretch out and relax - we wish that we could have stayed and enjoyed the scenery. Jeannie and Jerry put on a fantastic breakfast and are wonderful friendly hosts.

- Vic and Trish Palmer, from Clifford, Ontario 16 October 2013

My husband and I stopped here one night while driving from Banff to the west Coast. Jeannie is a doll! She does a fantastic job of hospitality with an amazing breakfast, beautiful grounds and just her warm friendly way.

- Natasha Cox, from regina, sask. 13 July 2013

This is the most incredible log home I have ever seen and it is wonderfully located in a private setting - I see deer, not neighbours when I look out the window! Jeannie and Jerry are fabulous hosts. I have stayed at KHCBB for 10 of the last 11 years during ski trips with my son and regret that we were unable to visit this year (2013). You will enjoy this B&B.

- Rob Dainow, from New Westminster, BC 18 May 2013

we stayed here while skiing at Kicking Horse resort, and on our return from enjoying bottomless powder with K3 Cat skiing in the Monashees. We wanted to stay longer and enjoy Jeannie's hospitality, as the rooms were very cosy after roughing it in the local Best Western's.

- Janet, from London England 4 March 2013

We were only there for one night, but it was great. Jeannie is a wonderful lady/host and immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We'll definitely stay there again.

- Simone, from Calgary, Alberta 22 October 2012

My cousin Wendy and I spent 2 nights there and really enjoy our stay. Jeannie was a great host and is great cook. She let us know where there was good places to eat in town and what else there was to do in Golden. She reconmended Wet N Wild white water rafting. We had the best time at this B&B

- Ruth Bylsma, from Brantford, ON 22 August 2012

We spent three nights on July 2012 at the Kicking Horse Canyon B&B and enjoyed it very much. Jeanie is an excellent and warm host who is taking care for each detail to make the stay at the B&B very comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast is delicious and testy. The added value of the place worth the price.

- Miron Korner, from Bat Yam, Israel 29 July 2012

Friendly welcome. Beautiful location. Excellent breakfast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a real taste of the Rockies.

- Mr. Alan Harland, from England 3 July 2012

We had a wonderful 5 day ski vacation. The B&B was a perfect place to relax after a challenging day on the mountain. Jeannie and Jerry are fantastic hosts.

- David, from Carleton Place, Ontario 24 February 2012

We just left this morning to head back to Canmore Alberta. I think both of my boys cried at 2 different times because they didn't want to leave Jeannie and Jerry's wonderful home. At my eldest son's ski race camp today his instructor asked how he liked Kicking Horse (which he loved) he said "Kicking Horse is great but Jeannie's breakfast is AWESOME" and my 6yr old said "Jeannie is the best, I love her". A kids review is worth more than anything I could ever say! See you soon Jeannie....Kitty & Keith Butler

We stayed twice with 2 weeks on our travel. We just had to stay come back and stay. Absolutely superb place to stay - like home from home. Always wanted to see what its like to stay in a log cabin. Here is a massive one with superb hostess and two fab dogs. There was a shy bear in the field somewhere, but never got to meet. Love to come back one day in the thick of the winter.

- Ann & Nathan, from Newport, South Wales. UK 10 October 2011

Stayed at Kicking Horse for 2 nights and absolutely loved the place! Jeannie and Jerry were great! Wished I would have been able to stay a few more nights so I could have had a few more of the delicious breakfasts and the great cookies! I definitely will be coming back this way in the future, since this has to be one of the best B&Bs I've visited! As a side note. If you go to the Lake Louise area, you must stop at Jerry's Station Restaurant. The food is great and the historic setting makes it all worth the trip! I recommended this restaurant to a few of my colleagues who were in the area and everyone loved it!

- Meril, from Dallas Texas 9 October 2011

I enjoyed my time in Golden, B.C. last month and my stay at the Kicking Horse B&B. Jeanne was a great host and made delicious breakfasts. I highly recommend this place and will definitely add the Kicking Horse B&B as a part of any future visits to Canada. My only regret is that i didn't stay longer. Be sure to also visit the Station restaurant at Lake Louise to sample Jerry's cooking. Its also not to br missed.

- Mitch, from Plano, TX 9 October 2011

Thank you both for such a beautiful stay. Everything about kicking Horse B&B was magnificent!! The best part of it all was Jeannie and Jerry. We miss you both!!!! Can't wait to come back again.

- Chuck & dawn., from Whitby 3 September 2011

What a beautiful and peaceful setting! The bedroom was very comfortable and the breakfast superb! Jeannie is a very congenial hostess and a great source of local knowledge. I will recommend this B&B to friends and hope to stay again, perhaps for skiing next time.

- K. Baker, from Prince George, B.C. 22 August 2011

Regretfully, we were only able to stay for one night. However, what a super experience. Jeannie and Jerry were superb hosts and Jeannie gave us a really warm welcome on our arrival. The whole place is immaculately presented with a great eye for style and guest comfort. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of choice and exceedingly tasty. This B&B will certainly take some beating as we continue our Canadian experience. Thank you Jeannie & Jerry.

- Mike & Penny Grimshaw, from Bere Ferrers, Devon, England 24 June 2011

Fantastic setting in the hills - beautifully clean and homely -made to feel most welcome, and feel at home - wonderful hosts - thoroughly enjoyed our one night there - followed by a beautiful breakfast. Would definitely want to stay again when passing through Golden!!

- Bev Carpenter, from Kelowna, Canada 7 June 2011

This B&B is a great place to stay. I've spent 3 nights there in June to discover the Rockies. Jeannie is a great host. The daily breakfast was huge and delicious. I loved the hot tub :)

- Franka, from Berlin, Germany 18 July 2010

I have stayed at the Kicking Horse Canyon B&B 5 times now and it has been wonderful every time. Breakfast is always delicious and it's so great to be able to sit and chat in their spacious living room. I have recommended it to friends and everyone that I know who has been there has really enjoyed their stay.

- Anonymous, from Calgary, Canada 16 July 2010

I booked through BBCanada. Stayed 3 nights, and it was a real home away from home. Jeannie met us and treated us like family right away. All the people who stayed there got along fabulously , probably because of the atmosphere. The breakfasts were to die for and kept you going until supper time. The B&B is located in the woods, but only a short 2 minute drive into Golden. It is very quiet and relaxing. She even baked us cookies!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Our son had to leave early on the last day and she got up and made him something for his bus ride, thanks Jeannie.

- Jim and Nancy, from London Ontario 12 July 2010

I have stayed at this B&B a couple of times and would highly recommend the stay. The rooms are very nice and very well kept. The breakfast in to die for and Jeanie and Jerry are wonderful hosts. I would like to make it a usual stop yearly during our summer vacation..

- Lori Beeson, from Barrhead, AB. 15 April 2010

This is a fantastic B&B and Jeannie and Jerry are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our 5 nights there (and breakfasts)and have recommended it to other sets of friends who have subsequently visited. We loved being in the Golden area. We would love to make a return visit.

- Nan & Roger, from Derbyshire, UK 7 October 2008

A fantastic B&B which was beautiful inside aswell as the views surrounding the property. We stayed in the 'Eagles nest' on Saturday 27th Spetember and enjoyed it so much we visited again on our return through Golden. The accomodation was luxurious. The breakfasts were outstanding and delicious. Jeannie was a superb hostess and we would highly recommend this location to any travellers.

- Michelle & Bob, from Coventry, England 6 October 2008

We had a wonderful stay at the Kicking Horse B & B. The location is most relaxing - a peaceful "log house" setting in the woods but with a wonderful view of the mountains. We saw deer in the meadow below. The whole house was very well furnished, our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, and the hot tub just right for relaxing in the evening. And the breakfast - out of this world!! Thank you, Jeannie!
