• Funky Frog B&B (formerly Pioneer Home B&B) is owned and operated by David and Veronica Haits (and our teacup pomeranian, Toby)
• Located in Maple Bay the beautiful Cowichan valley, near Duncan and halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo. All rooms are tastefully decorated and are adorned with Veronica's artwork. The B&B is accessible- with stair-lift and ramps.
• Rest in the soulful 1/2 acre garden with hot tub, several decks, trellises, winding pathways, rock walls and a fire pit.
• Culinary offerings from the Cowichan Valley: a multitude of wineries, a cidery and brandy distillery, a plethora of fine restaurants featuring delights made from local fare and the many farm and garden markets to enjoy whole food from the earth.
• Outdoors activities: many bays and coves to explore and a marina nearby, kayaking and canoeing in the lakes, fly-fishing in the river, hiking and cycling on the Trans-Canada trail and Kinsol trestle, golfing, birdwatching and much more.
