• Walking & cycling location on waterfront, Active Pass (recently declared an Important Bird Area of Canada by Birdlife International) with wrap around decks, library, fireplace(s), centrally located within the Gulf Islands National Park Reserve
• Organic medicinal herb and flower gardens, fruit trees, hammocks in garden. Throughout the summer we participate in our local Farmers Market (Saturdays from 10 to 1) where you will see us with our sharpening truck, herbal products and fruit, in season.
• English, German, Spanish spoken.
• Each year we're walking the cultural trails of Europe including the trans-european ' Camino' to Spain. We participate in European and Mexican communities as projects arise.
• We are living a sustainable lifestyle: Medicinal Plants: we grow them, make products which we use ourselves & sell to the public; Sharp Tools: we have been maintaining/sharpening our own & Gulf Islands' communities tools for over 35 years.
